About: In addition to being an avid lover of dogs (and walks!) I'm a 24x International marathoner and minimalist backpacker and traveler, as well as a yoga and meditation instructor. As a result of the aforementioned, I enjoy (and match) pups from all over the energetic/activity spectrum, can comfortably and respectfully care for homes and animals as though they're my own, even if only for a night, and can mindfully approach pups with their comfort and needs in mind. I have experience with overnights, ranging from two to ten nights-- with pups of all ages and health profiles and give frequent text and photo updates if so desired. Over the last four years, my top three repeat pup-friends (and their homes,) which I've cared for have spanned from sweet-yet-anxious Whippet, burly-but-cuddly Pit-Boxer mix, and an active-and-energetic Bichon-Poo mix. I am new to the area and still working out my professional schedule, but would love to meet/care for local dogs in my neighborhood (Uptown.) All care will occur based out of dog parent’s home, as our rental agreement mentions solely our dog as being onsite. My dog prefers to join for socializing, but can be left at home for brief visits/walks if your dog prefers solitude!

About: Being with animals is equivocal to happiness for me— I have been drawn to them all my life. I started pet sitting at age 12 and spent the best summer of my life in 2020 volunteering at an animal sanctuary in Jalisco, Mexico with abandoned, disabled, blind and deaf domestic and wild animals. My day job is extremely flexible, so I can pop in and out of meetings with clients and go for dog walks, check-ins, potty breaks, etc. I have a fenced court yard for my Aussie so she can spend time outdoors while I am out visiting clients. We run 3-4 miles at least 3 days per week to keep both of us active. I like to make sure the dogs I take care of are getting the appropriate amount of exercise and time in the sunshine.

About: I’ve helped raise two labs from puppyhood in my family home and have years of experience pet sitting for neighbors and extended family. My experience includes caring for senior dogs, puppies as young as 8 weeks old, and dogs with special needs. I’m comfortable administering medications, preparing homemade dog food, providing daily enrichment and exercise, and reinforcing ongoing training and routines. Pet care fits naturally into my routine as an online student with a flexible part-time schedule. I’m fully available Mondays through Wednesdays and typically work early morning shifts Thursdays through Sundays. On longer workdays, I’m able to stop by midday for potty breaks, feeding, walks, and check-ins, and I plan the majority of my time outside of work around the pets in my care. I prioritize each pet’s comfort by caring for them in the familiar environment of their own home whenever possible. Being surrounded by their toys, treats, bedding, routines, and family scents helps them feel safe, relaxed, and at ease while adjusting to a new face and temporary change in routine.

About: I have a dog and a cat. I have pet sat for 10 years and have always had a dog growing up. I am comfortable with all sized dogs. I also have experience with dogs that don’t like other dogs and giving medication. I will make sure that your four legged friend is having the best time of their lives. I will also keep you updated on how everything is going. I am working full time for the city of Sedona Monday- Thursday I work 10 hours a day and I’m around on the weekends regularly. I am comfortable with crating your dog if that is what you want or letting them roam but making sure there is nothing for them to get into.

About: As a former Social Worker, Teacher and current Caregiver, I have experience caring for others. Actually, I’d rather work with animals & some children, but one needs income as well as collaboration with adults. I helped train puppies 🐶 & have cared for Senior pets with medical needs. I walk dogs as that is one of their requirements in most cases & we all need exercise! I do have a small RV so I’m willing to travel a couple of hours for longer jobs that may be a week or more. As a Caregiver, I’ve cared for people & their pets in FL, AZ, NV, NM & TX, Also in California & Louisiana some years ago. I’m residing in Payson, on-call for Teaching so if I take on a job, I can work around my schedule. I can do days, overnights and visits 2Xday. I am good with a schedule & make sure to include daily exercise with fresh air. I can bathe your pet, if needed and crate, if required. Food, water & walks are essential for wellbeing.

We’re friendly, patient, playful, and we genuinely love getting to know each dog’s personality. From walks (during day light) and backyard playtime to cozy downtime, we make sure every pup feels safe, comfortable, and loved while they’re with us. I’m stay at home dog mom with a side business from home, and my husband works from home, so your pup will always have company and supervision. We go on walks throughout the day, spend time playing in the yard, and keep to your dog’s routine as closely as possible. We provide a safe, dog-friendly home with a fully fenced yard and plenty of room to explore. Our Golden Retriever is very friendly and playful, so visiting dogs should be very social and comfortable around other pups, be good with sharing toys. We only host one family at a time to ensure a calm, safe environment with plenty of personal attention. We take tons of pictures and send frequent updates throughout the day so you always know how your dog is doing throughout their stay. For safety reasons, we cannot host females in heat, and all visiting dogs must be house-trained and potty-trained. We can crate your dog if needed or if that’s part of their normal routine.
