About: I’ve always had a huge love for animals, and caring for them is something I truly enjoy. I have 4 years of experience working as a veterinary technician, and 10+ years taking care of animals which has given me hands-on experience with all kinds of dogs and cats and taught me how to understand their individual personalities and needs. I’ll treat your pets like they’re my own, giving them plenty of love, attention, playtime, and care while you’re away. About: Both my wife and I have had dogs since we were born. We both grew up in families that bred labs. We’ve cared for brand new pups to one of our late dogs as she battled heart failure. We are no strangers to caring for dogs in all walks of life. Training them from 8 weeks old and handling medications in their senior years. We currently own two Goldens. Leo who will be 8 this year and Liberty who will be 4. Leo has spent every year in the woods with us as well as Liberty who also plays show dog in the conformation ring on weekends. They are both sweethearts and get crawled on daily by our 2 year old son. My wife also groomed dogs in college and we have set her up with a dog washing room in our barn fully set up with a portable water heater for those cold months. We would care for any dog like our own. They would have plenty of fun time outside playing and a comfortable place to sleep while they’re here. I work from home and my wife is a stay at home mom with our son. She handles the house and our 7 acres of land. Caring for your pet would be an easy addition to our daily schedule as we care for our own. We have a large fenced in back yard and would supervise them when out. When we are gone and when we go to bed at night we will crate dogs to ensure their safety as well as their comfort of having their own space. We also keep dogs separate when feeding. Keeping dogs safe, comfortable and happy is most important to us just like we would expect of someone watching our two sweet Goldens.
About: Hello there! I hope to make your acquaintance. My greatest passion for life stems from a deep-rooted love and appreciation of nature. Not only do animals encourage me to spend more time outdoors, they also lift my spirits. I have yet to meet one whose company or quirks did not bring me enjoyment; from my best friend’s sixty-four slithering snakes, to the most docile (and most dastardly) of llamas. As a child, my favourite playmates were fickle felines, slobber-faced dogs, flopsy rabbits, furry scurriers, flittering birds, flashy fish, and even the occasional amphibian, reptilian, or arthropod to cross my path. Not much has changed since then. Ever-optimistic in my venture to learn more about and care for our beloved companions, I aspire to take courses for animal massage therapy, nutrition, acupressure, and aromatherapy. For now, I am enrolled in basic lessons for the efficient use of essential oils for health benefits. Hopefully this proves to bolster the vitality of our loved ones, and to also honor my endless admiration of plants and animals. I am more than happy to discuss any questions, comments, or concerns regarding your dearest critter’s care, and hope to get to know them a bit better. About: I love dogs and have time to spend with them. No kennels. They’d be out and about. I hike and am active. I feed my own pups raw and we have an agility course in our yard for working their brain as well as body. I have rescued senior hospice dogs and am fine to nurture them to make sure they’re comfortable. Good with dog diapers and care. Your dog must be good natured and well socialized. I can give meds, take on drives, hike and cuddle. All our furniture is good for pups. I am mostly home with dogs. I don’t leave for long periods and I have a dog door. I don’t care about the size as long as they’re gentle. I will not accept ANY dogs with aggressive behavioral concerns. I have a very flexible schedule Monday through Thursday. Once we’re established, I could be an option for over nights. Weekends are tougher but still an option. I am clean and orderly. I love routines and follow directions. I want the owner to feel comfortable while they’re away. I know what it’s like to be gone and wonder if your baby is getting the care you’d want for them. I am an active but calm person. I don’t deal in behavioral issues and will not consider any dogs that are aggressive.
