“Sam was wonderful with my kitty garfunkle. She was always quick to respond even at early hours in the morning. She gave updates on how he was doing and even sent cute videos of him. Her attention to detail was wonderful she kept me updated on his health(how much he was urinating was very important). I would definitely book her again. Thank you Sam!!”

“We are so grateful that we found Gwendolyn through Rover. She took great care of our two Golden Retrievers, Kayla and Kylie. She regularly sent pictures and updates of what they were doing, along with leaving the house cleaner than when we left. We couldn't be more pleased.”

“Great experience with Zack housesitting our dogs. Kya and Enzo had a great time and Zack provided frequent updates with pictures. We would absolutely have him watch our dogs again.”

“Wendy is great, my dogs took an immediate liking to her. I felt extremely confident having her in our home and watching our pups. Well, definitely use her again.”

“My girlfriend and I were going out of town for a couple of nights and needed someone to watch our dog and cat. I had heard of Rover but had never used it before. I hopped on the site and quickly found Shannon. After first contacting Shannon she came over to meet the boys and go over everything with us. She is one of the kindest people that I've ever met and we instantly knew that our pets would be in great hands. While we were on our trip she sent us pictures of Frankie and Lil B along with daily updates. When we arrived back from the trip the boys were well rested and we had a detailed hand written note from Shannon about how they were. Next time we go out of town we will definitely contact Shannon again and I recommend you do the same!”
“Donna was amazing. She was very polite, right on time, and went above and beyond to make sure my dog was happy and taken care of. I felt very confident that he would be safe with her. She also kept my house very clean and tidy while I was away. I absolutely recommend her.”

“Kami was amazing with Jake and Tasha. She made sure both Jake and Tasha got their daily medicine and all their daily puppy loving. Kami stayed with the puppies in our house for 5 days so the dogs would be secure and safe in their normal environment. Tasha and Jake were happy when we got home, however they definitively seemed sad when Kami left. Kami will be our number one choice from now out. She's similar in cost to taking the pups to a kennel, however this way the puppies get to stay comfortable in their own home and there was someone at home to bring the Amazon packages into the house. Lastly, I think the house was cleaner when we got home than when we left. Thank You so much Kami. Tasha (65 lbs) and Jake (100 lbs).”

“Charlie was kind and communicative. He kept our house clean and was very good with our pets. Our pets seemed happy in all the updates he provided. He did need a reminder about the late night walks and did complete them after that.”

“Kailey watched out pitbull Jax while we were gone for Christmas. From the meet and greet to the service provided she was friendly, punctual, responsive and professional. Jax had a nice time and we trusted Kailey with him. She also brought in some unexpected packages that arrived while we were away. We appreciated her good communication and dog updates.”

“My pets loved her! She was very communicative, sending me lots of pictures and videos and checking in frequently with me. I had a 4 day trip, and was worried to leave my animals alone. By day 2 I knew I had nothing to worry about! 😊”

“We couldn't have been happier having Malina as a pet sitter for Josie. It was our very first experience doing all of this with her. Malina stayed overnight and was very conscientious about keeping things in order. She came over before the stay to get acquainted with us and Josie and discuss schedules and routines, so Josie was familiar with her when she came over. She works remotely and was here the entire time. It sounded like they had a wonderful time together and Malina was very communicative with us, sending pictures and texts. She had wonderful comments about Josie. Josie loved her and so do we! Wouldn't hesitate to have her sit for us again.”

About: Hi, I’m Helin or you can call me Helen. I believe that every animal—whether they have fur, feathers, or a shell—deserves to feel safe, seen, and never lonely. My life has been a journey of caring for all kinds of creatures, and I’ve decided to dedicate myself to this full-time because I truly believe no pet should have to wait by the door alone. My heart has always been most at home with animals. I spent 17 beautiful years with my senior cat, a journey that taught me the importance of patience, soft voices, and the specialized care that aging pets require. Beyond my cat and dog companions, I’ve had the joy of caring for aquatic turtles and birds, so I am very comfortable with the unique rhythms and delicate needs of "non-traditional" pets. By day, I work as a receptionist at an emergency animal clinic. This role has shaped me into a calm, observant caretaker who knows how to listen to what an animal is telling me, even when they can’t speak. I bring that same watchful, protective energy into your home, ensuring your pets are not just fed, but truly cared for. I'm free 4 days of the week and I work full time 3 days of the week but I can make accommodations if I need a day/week off to take care of a pet because pet sitting is the thing I love the most to do. I can take care of your pet in your home, take them out to walks, feed them& play with them using the instructions you provide me.
“Jessica was great with our four dogs and spent a lot of time with them at our house even though the house/dog sitting was over the Christmas holiday. We will definitely use her again.”
“Erin has been great to work with. Shows up on time, and helps us out with last minute situations. She's great with our Rita! Rita actually ran to the door after she left this last time. That never happened before. We highly recommend Erin completely.”

“Larissa was a great house sitter for our 2 dogs during a long weekend, and we were comfortable having her in our home. She spent so much time with the pups compared to a previous sitter that we had a bad experience with. We were a little hesitant to try another house sitter but Larissa has eliminated those concerns. We will be reaching out to her for our next mini vacay! Thank you so much Larissa!”

About: I've owned and cared for dogs and other animals for the majority of my life, and I have over a decade of professional experience in the pet care industry. Most recently, I managed a pet resort and spa in the DMV area. I can provide oral and topical medications, as well as simple injections like insulin. While I am not a vet myself, I have a wide knowledge of health and behavioral issues, and can keep a close eye to alert you if any problems arise. I’ve worked with puppies and seniors, toy poodles and Great Danes. I also love cats! I’m confident I can take the best care of your baby. I currently work part-time in the mornings, so I’m available starting in the early afternoon through the evening. I could do weekend visits as well if needed. I prefer to only do daytime visits, but will do overnights for the right family! As I have a cat who must be an only child, I do not accept any boarding in my own home. In your home, I will always follow your instructions for caring for your pet, and never take a dog out off-leash.

Nicole took great care of my dog Lehigh! She gave her plenty of exercise and I could tell from the minute that her and Lehigh met, Lehigh would be comfortable and relaxed around Nicole. She was also extremely flexible and communicated well when i had some unplanned interruptions to my trip away.
