“Kami was amazing with Jake and Tasha. She made sure both Jake and Tasha got their daily medicine and all their daily puppy loving. Kami stayed with the puppies in our house for 5 days so the dogs would be secure and safe in their normal environment. Tasha and Jake were happy when we got home, however they definitively seemed sad when Kami left. Kami will be our number one choice from now out. She's similar in cost to taking the pups to a kennel, however this way the puppies get to stay comfortable in their own home and there was someone at home to bring the Amazon packages into the house. My name is Shelby and I have owned and taken care of several animals for over the years from a 19 year old senior dog with special needs to a pregnant cat and her newborn babies! I've worked with many different dog breeds, from Cane Corsos to Chihuahuas and have loved my time with all of them! I'm currently not working so have ample time to socialize and engage with your pups! I absolutely LOVE playing and working with pets, right now I am really enjoying training my new rescue as well as caring for my foster dog, Annie and her 2 week old baby, Bridger. I live in a 1,000+ square feet condo with plenty of room to run and play. Your pup will have access to plenty of outdoor activities as I have a dog park very close, as well as several hiking trails super close by! I like to bring my dog to one big activity a day whether it is a hike or going to the dog park to get out some energy. We would love it if your pup would want to join us for those activities but if they prefer to stay home that’s totally fine too! And then we do TONS of enrichment activities afterwards to stimulate his super smart and mischievous brain! I do not have a yard because I am on the second story but I have a fenced in deck my dog loves to soak up the sun on! I take my puppy out every hour/hour and a half on a little walk around town (.5 miles). Depending on your pups specific needs we could make these walks longer or shorter! :) I am not working anymore, so I have ample time to play and love on your pup in whatever way they need! I also have a pup who loves to play or snuggle with whatever dog is with us for the day! I have a 2 year old puppy to keep your dog company if they are interested, but can also be separated as my pup is crate trained and we have 2 big bedrooms that they can have their own space in if need be! Taken out for potty breaks often! Please let me know your pups daily routine so that I can make this transition as easy as possible for them. If your pet has any specific needs, the more I know the better, I can provide and care for your baby!! :)

About: I have 3 small dogs & and a cat. I'm a animal lover and I know how scary it can be to leave your friend while going on vacation or leaving for work. Im here to help! We have a fully fenced and secure front and back yard. I have plenty of space and love to give to your babies while they are staying here. I can provide basic senior care, medication administration, puppy care and more. I work from home and im available on weekends as well. Your babies will never be left unattended. I will ALWAYS be at the house to watch your pet. Im 100% available Friday through Sunday and weekdays i have some work calls via zoom but i will always be home. I have experience watching family and friends pets and farm animals as well as Fostering dogs with United animal friends and providing after surgery care. I can provide a daily schedule, safe feeding, safe environment and lots of playtime. I can also provide a quiet and safe place for older or more skittish babies. We have a maltipoo and chihuahua and a 6 old shihtzu/pug. They are all smaller dogs with great tempers and love to make new doggy friends.

Most recently, I managed a pet resort and spa in the DMV area. I can provide oral and topical medications, as well as simple injections like insulin. While I am not a vet myself, I have a wide knowledge of health and behavioral issues, and can keep a close eye to alert you if any problems arise. I’ve worked with puppies and seniors, toy poodles and Great Danes. I also love cats! I’m confident I can take the best care of your baby. I currently work part-time in the mornings, so I’m available starting in the early afternoon through the evening. I could do weekend visits as well if needed. I prefer to only do daytime visits, but will do overnights for the right family! As I have a cat who must be an only child, I do not accept any boarding in my own home. In your home, I will always follow your instructions for caring for your pet, and never take a dog out off-leash.
