“Paul and Courtney were awesome! Our little pup stayed 11 days with them (our first time leaving her), so we were a bit nervous about leaving her. They have 2 beautiful golden retrievers that got along so well with her, a big backyard for all her energy, and they even stayed up with her puppy training! We got daily updates and videos also while on our trip. I highly recommend them if you need a dog sitter!”

“Erin was fantastic! She was extremely communicative and sent pictures/videos every day of my pup. Anyone would be more than happy to leave their pet with her! Sedona had a great time and was happy staying with Erin! I would give 6/5 stars if i could!”

“The family was so sweet and my pup seemed well taken care of. They have a safe piece of property to keep my fur baby inside and room to roam. Thank you!”

“Amber was great. She was able to accommodate us on short notice and didn’t make me feel stressed at all. She has a perfect backyard for animals. My dogs were able to feel at home and that is appreciated ❤️”

“Grammy Kim, is very caring and good with a Laila. She takes her to the park and never has more than one or two dogs. My dog is always excited to go to her house when I have to travel.”

“Heather and her family took such good care of our puppy. Sammie just loved Heather's puppy and they played together very well! Heather sent me pictures of my baby the whole time I was gone. .I will surely use Heather again”

“Shane always gave our now departed Lexie the very best care. She loved going to her "home away from home" and was always happy and stress free when we picked her up. We highly recommend Shane.”

“Deanna was very available when requesting updates and very attentive to our needs, great first experience with Rover! Highly recommend her for any dog sitting needs.”

“Angel and Casper are the best! We went out of town for a family get together over Easter weekend and couldn't take our mama dog and her new babies along. Angel was more than happy to watch them for us and always takes great care of our fur babies and gives them lots of love and attention. We feel so lucky to have found a home away from home for our doggies.”

“We are so glad to have found Aspen! She is loving and communicative! We got videos of our babies playing and having so much fun! They can’t wait for their next visit to Aspen’s!!”

“Emery was wonderful to my dogs. I have a puppy and a senior dog and she sent me updates with pictures daily. Her yard was fenced, clean and safe. Her house was also very clean and there was nothing the dogs could get into. Emery worked with our schedule and was so nice. I'll definitely book again and recommend her!”

“Janean was AWESOME! Billie had such a great time with her she almost didn't want to come home with us. Janean sent pictures everyday and was a wonderful sitter. Couldn't recommend her more!!!”

“What a relief to have found Renee and Len as Milo's care takers during our honeymoon out of the country. Renee sent us texts of Milo playing, eating and doing his doggie "thing" right away. He made a new BFF in their dog Baily! They are really the BEST dog sitters I have ever had. He is 15 and needed meds which was no problem. They are very conscientious and caring, as we say, "they speak dog". I would not hesitate to use them again and I know Milo would love it! Thank you so much Renee and Len!!”

“Kimberly took amazing care of our 2 dogs! We were in Prescott for a wedding and wanted a place where we could drop the dogs off and not have to worry about them. This was it. She sent pix often, the dogs loved the yard and toys and got LOTS of love!”

“Amanda, is very knowledgeable about dog behaviors and possible remedies. She offered some great tips for problem behaviors which I have already put to use. She is even shared breed specific tips that were helpful to know.”

“After my dog sitter moved out of the area, I wasn't sure I'd find someone to watch Lilly id approve of. Deborah and Thomas are great with Lilly. I highly recommend them. They made her feel right at home.”

“Donna was fantastic! She sent me pictures of my babies over the weekend and kept me updated. She followed our feeding schedule and treat schedule. She is amazing and my dogs felt great at home as soon as they got to that house! I will use her over and over again!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Chino Valley
Makita loved staying with Summer and Shelby! Nice fenced in yard with lots of room to play for my active dog. Home was warm and inviting. Easy drop off and pick up close to my house. Summer has a warm and inviting personality and we had a meet and greet before Makitas stay. She answered all my questions and concerns and I felt very comfortable leaving Makita with her! Thank you Summer! XO Makita and Laurie

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
