“Deanna took wonderful care of our bernedoodle while we were away, and we couldn’t be more grateful! She was so communicative and sent us updates and pictures throughout her boarding. She has a secure, wonderful yard for them to play in. Deanna is such a kind soul and is so great with the pups. I highly recommend her, and will be a repeat customer for sure!”

“My Yorkie had an amazing two weeks with Renee and Len. I highly recommend them to watch your pets. They were accomdating when I had to urgently travel abroad and even refused to take additional pets, as my Yorkie does not get along with all dogs. Our Yorkie tends to be a runner and they very attentive to ensure that he didnt run off. He had an absolute blast with their gorgeous boys and is already missing them. Will definitely be using them for the future even if it's just for playtime.”

“This family has taken care of my dog twice now and my dog seems so happy. I appreciate the good care they give little guy. Will continue to rebook with this family when needed 😊”

“Aspen was the best. Our 2 1/2 yr old standard poodle Bruce just had the best time. This was the first time that he has been cared for outside of our home and was with Aspen for six nights and did wonderful. We highly recommend her to care for your pet. She has just the best setup to keep all of her pets happy and comfortable while in her care. We will be sure to reach out to her again for her loving care. Definitely 5stars!!”

“My dog’s stay with Janean was fantastic! She was very flexible with pick up and drop off times, took special care with my dog’s diet restrictions, and treated her like her own!”

“Our dog always comes home happy and relaxed after being in the care of Stephanie and Rollson. They do an exceptional job and she loves spending time with them.”

About: I’m an animal lover! I’ve been blessed to have my dogs Xola and Chupie in my life. They were such joys, I no longer have them with me. So I love to take care of other peoples fur babies. I currently work at a Spa in Prescott , and I have work Tuesday-Friday 10-4. I am available anytime before or after that, and I’m free on Saturday-Monday! I follow instructions to the T, and respect that owners take care of their animals in unique ways. As long as the animals and their owners are happy, then I’m happy to help!
About: I’ve taken care of dogs ever since I was 13. Neighbors, Friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed and bathe their dogs I’m currently working part time, so I’ll have plenty of time to play with your pups! I’m available for boarding on weekends and weekends after. I have a fenced yard and two friendly dogs to keep your fur baby company. I can easily crate your dog if needed with care
“Emery was wonderful to my dogs. I have a puppy and a senior dog and she sent me updates with pictures daily. Her yard was fenced, clean and safe. Her house was also very clean and there was nothing the dogs could get into. Emery worked with our schedule and was so nice. I'll definitely book again and recommend her!”

“Leann took care of our babies for 2 weeks when we left for an international trip. I can’t say enough great things about her. She let us do a visit before the trip to make sure everything was good with the interactions with her other dogs and to also check out her place. You can really tell how much love and care she has for animals. She is so kind and sweet. We were updated daily with photos and videos. She responds quickly and she was very flexible throughout each part in our booking. We really appreciate her and we trust her with our babies without hesitation. Our dogs always looked so happy in the updates and they made some besties with her own dogs and other dogs she was caring for (including her son who is also so adorable and gentle with the dogs!). We look forward to rebooking her in the future! :)”

“Daniela and her family were perfect! His stay with them was short but she kept me updated along with pics. I almost wish I had to leave my dog with them longer because her kids were so horribly excited about him :) I would definitely leave him in their care again.”

About: I have most of my experience caring for dogs, but I also have experience watching cats as well. Along with caring for my own dog, I currently help look after three other family dogs that I live with. My responsibilities include feeding, daily walks and hikes, vet visits, administering post-surgery care, and making sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved. Most of my pet sitting experience has been through friends and family. I’ve stayed overnight at clients’ homes to care for two adult dogs at a time, especially when owners wanted someone present with the dogs as much as possible. I did this over a couple of summers for stays lasting around 1–2 weeks at a time. I also regularly help care for a family member’s mini poodle while they travel, either by bringing her to my home or stopping by for potty breaks, feeding, walks, playtime, and companionship. I’m very passionate about caring for animals and always try to treat every pet the same way I would treat my own. My goal is to make pets feel loved, well cared for, comfortable, and active while their owners are away. I currently work for a high school, which gives me much more flexibility during the summer months. I will also be working another part-time job that has a flexible schedule, so I am available most days of the week for pet care. Because of my flexible availability, I’m able to spend quality time with pets throughout the day for walks, feeding, playtime, potty breaks, and companionship. I always try to make sure pets feel comfortable, cared for, and attended to while their owners are away. When caring for pets in my own home, safety and comfort are very important to me. While I’m at work, my dogs stay in a secure fenced backyard with multiple shaded areas, a small kiddie pool with water for drinking or cooling off, and toys to keep them entertained. They are usually outside during the day when no one is home, but once I or another family member returns, they are allowed back inside. On weekends, when I’m home more often, they are free to go in and out of the house as they please. They sleep indoors on their own beds at night, although I don’t mind pets sleeping near me if that is what they are comfortable with. When caring for other people’s pets, I always make sure to follow the owner’s instructions and routines as closely as possible. If pets are normally kept indoors during the day, I would stop by for potty breaks, walks, feeding, playtime, and companionship. If a dog does not have a fenced yard or cannot safely be off leash, I would make sure they stay leashed and supervised at all times. I’m also happy to take pets on walks or transport them elsewhere if needed for exercise or bathroom breaks. If an owner is comfortable with their dog staying at my home, I can provide a safe, secure, and caring environment for them there as well.

I was extremely happy with the care my little Angel received. After meeting Renee and Len I felt very safe leaving Angel in their care. They sent notices and pictures of Angel enjoying her time with them. It allowed me to enjoy my time at my event knowing Angel was in good hands. I will seek their assistance to take care of Angel in the future when I come back to Prescott to see my family. GREAT JOB!!!! Many thanks. Cyndi Smith

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Wildwood Estates home-away-from-home, packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Wildwood Estates.
Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Wildwood Estates sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in AZ ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
