“We were unexpectedly informed that we couldn't bring our beloved pet, Cholula, to the Airbnb. Since my wife has always preferred to have Cholula cared for by family, we were faced with the choice of either using Rover or canceling our trip. We decided to try Rover and arranged a meet-and-greet with Shane, who seemed like a wonderful person. He was willing to care for Cholula on the same day. The backyard was lovely, and the other dogs were well-behaved, allowing Cholula to adapt quickly. Throughout the three days and two nights, Shane provided us with updates and sent photos of Cholula, which greatly eased our minds. Thank you very much.”

“Heather and her family took such good care of our puppy. Sammie just loved Heather's puppy and they played together very well! Heather sent me pictures of my baby the whole time I was gone. .I will surely use Heather again”

“Kimberly took amazing care of our 2 dogs! We were in Prescott for a wedding and wanted a place where we could drop the dogs off and not have to worry about them. This was it. She sent pix often, the dogs loved the yard and toys and got LOTS of love!”

“Aspen was amazing! She communicates frequently and sent a lot of pictures of my pup Fable who had a blast with the other dogs that were staying at the ranch. Aspens home is set up very well for dogs and your pup will have a great stay with her!”

“Our pup seemed to have great time. We got her home and she was right back on her routine. That is really important. And she was tired! Which is also important. A tired giant is a good giant. All contact with Amanda and Andrew was 💯.”

About: Reliable, experienced pet care you can feel comfortable with. 🐾 With over 10 years of experience, I’m background checked and hold a current fingerprint clearance card. I offer in-home pet sitting, overnight stays, drop-ins, and dog walking throughout the Prescott area. Your pets are treated with the same care, attention, and love I’d give my own. I own my own company which allows me to work remotely from home so i can spend more time with your furry friends! Absolutely love this job! When I care for pets in their own home, my focus is on creating a calm, familiar, and deeply attentive experience that honors both the pet’s routine and the owner’s trust. I take the time to understand each animal’s personality, habits, and needs—whether that’s maintaining consistent feeding schedules, administering care with patience, or simply offering comfort and companionship in the spaces they know best. I treat every home and every pet as if they were my own, paying close attention to details, safety, and emotional well-being so pets feel secure, relaxed, and genuinely cared for while their owners are away.
“Kim is by far the most amazing helpful person on the planet when it comes to your pups. She took care of my two guys which were a handful and managed to make them happy. Gave them bars and gelato treats. She is truly an angel when it comes to helping you feel good about leaving your babies behind.”

About: I’ve recently been able to manage 4 dogs who had to be separated by twos in separate rooms. This was probably one of my most difficult tasks to handle, it was 2 frenchies and then my regular dogs I dog sit for. I ran into a few problems, throwing up in the house, not eating, struggling to separate them at times and not being able to get them into their crates. But eventually I was able to manage a certain style to it. So currently I am enrolled fully at Embry Riddle as a freshman. I am also in AFROTC. But I can be flexible with my schedule in mornings, after 9:15. My Thursdays are open because I have no classes. I am not available mid-day throughout the week unless it’s Thursday. Wednesday will probably be a no go, unless it’s in the morning, 9:15-11 or late afternoon, 7-9:30. Weekends just let me know in advanced and we can communicate on that, just so I don’t plan to go anywhere. Since I am in college pets can’t be at my dorm at all. Usually in the clients home it depends on their needs for the pets. Does the pet need walks, do I need to let the dog out to go to the bathroom, is the pet on a specific food schedule/diet, or does the pet just need love when the owner is at work for long periods at a time?
About: With over 25 plus years of hands-on pet-care experience, I bring a strong commitment to responsible, attentive, and compassionate animal care. I understand the importance of maintaining pets’ routines, recognizing their individual needs, and providing a safe, comfortable environment. My approach emphasizes reliability, patience, and personalized attention, ensuring every pet receives quality care while their owners are away. For more active pets, I’m also happy to take them on hikes, runs, and outdoor adventures to help keep them happy, healthy, and active. I’m a fireman. So I work a rotating schedule. Two days on with four days off in between, so I have plenty of time to take care of your loved ones. I have a fenced in backyard. I have one dog currently who is very friendly with others. Parks and great walking in the area. Also nearby hiking.

About: I was a dog/cat groomer for years! I am good with small dogs to giant breeds. No pets or kids of my own at home. Im currently working very part-time, have no pets of my own right now and have lots of love to give yours! I also live alone with no children either so over night visits in my home are most welcome! Also, I do not smoke so you can be assured your pet/home will smell as fresh as when you left. I do not have a fenced in yard but live in a subdivision that makes walking your pets easy. Im very familiar and comfortable with crate trained dogs as well as dogs used to using pee pads. Many sitters in AZ ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
