I’ve owned my own horse farm, was passionate with training my German Shepards and the last 20 years I’ve rescued greyhounds as well as other rescue dogs. I was a manager at playtime at a rescue for several years. I’m calm and love to cherish pets as they so deserve. Recently sold my coffee roasting business and I’ve picked a passion I’d like to spend in my semi retired years. I’ve owned several homes in Oregon, California and now my husband and I reside in Prescott. I’m available for home/farm/pet sitting in your home. I can also do drop-in care, exercise your pooches, overnights as well as emergency care. I love all animals: dog, cats, horses and various farm animals. Difficult animals no problem. My husband loves animals as much as I do, and he cares for our two dogs when I’m caring for yours! We turn our dogs out in our fenced yard when we are present throughout the day. We also have a wonderful quiet neighborhood to walk our dogs. At my clients home I follow whatever protocol they request, be that supervised turnouts, leashed walks or dog park time.

Most recently, I managed a pet resort and spa in the DMV area. I can provide oral and topical medications, as well as simple injections like insulin. While I am not a vet myself, I have a wide knowledge of health and behavioral issues, and can keep a close eye to alert you if any problems arise. I’ve worked with puppies and seniors, toy poodles and Great Danes. I also love cats! I’m confident I can take the best care of your baby. I currently work part-time in the mornings, so I’m available starting in the early afternoon through the evening. I could do weekend visits as well if needed. I prefer to only do daytime visits, but will do overnights for the right family! As I have a cat who must be an only child, I do not accept any boarding in my own home. In your home, I will always follow your instructions for caring for your pet, and never take a dog out off-leash.

About: Currently i have two small dogs a cat and a gecko. Growing up my mother was always taking in strays and helping nurse them back to good health. So we could find them their forever home. We always had dogs and cats in the house. There were plenty of times I have had to administer medication and take special care of the pups. I’m currently working a Part-Time job, but am looking to make this more of my permanent job. I’m available after 2 pm as of now, but in the future will have more availability. Since our yard is not fenced we leash the pups before going out to ensure safety. Our dogs are very friendly and will be more than happy to keep your pups company. As well as up to date on their vaccines and spayed. We have the means for night crating or even just some alone time if needed. We do not smoke in the home as to ensure our pets health.

About: As long as I can remember my family has always had multiple pets in the house. Whether it was birds, reptiles, dogs of all sizes, or cats. I had the responsibility of taking the dogs outside to go to the bathroom, feeding them breakfast and dinner, and bathing them. I used to dog sit my neighbors dog when she went on vacation for 1/2 weeks at a time some things I was trusted doing, was letting the dog out, feeding the dog, playtime with the dog, and locking up the house securely. As of now I take care of my own dog who is completely blind, and needs extra help with leading him places, feeding time, and medication. So I am definitely up to a challenge. I’m currently a vet technician at a animal hospital, so I know a few things. I can trim nails, express anal glands, and bath your pets if requested. Bathing would need to be in your own tub or outside in your yard. I work 4 days a week at an animal hospital, so I would take care of your pets either after work or on my days off. I will take care of your pets like my own, and make sure they are comfortable and taken care of. I love every animal and will love yours also.
