About: I have hands-on experience caring for pets of all kinds, including my Yorkie puppy and several senior cats. I provide daily attention, training, exercise, and care for medical or behavioral needs. I’m comfortable with skittish, anxious, or energetic pets, and I treat every animal with patience, love, and consistency. Pets aren’t just animals to me—they’re family, and I’m committed to keeping them happy, healthy, and safe. Pet care fits easily into my daily and weekly routine. I am currently not working, so I have a flexible schedule and can provide consistent care, playtime, and attention throughout the day. My main commitments are taking my daughter to and from school, appointments, and interviews, but I plan my time carefully to ensure pets always receive the care and supervision they need. I enjoy creating a reliable, loving routine for every animal I care for. I care for pets with attention, consistency, and compassion, whether in my home or the client’s home. I provide feeding, exercise, playtime, and mental stimulation tailored to each pet’s needs. For pets with medical or behavioral needs, I follow specific instructions carefully, administer medications if required, and monitor their health and well-being closely. I ensure their environment is safe, clean, and comfortable, and I give them plenty of love and attention so they feel secure and happy while in my care.

As a travel nurse who packs up and moves to different places frequently it can be hard leaving your pet with a complete stranger while I’m working long hours at work. Luckily I found Lela through Rover and it eased my mind knowing she was in such good hands. She was always communicative, loving to Harper, and always paying attention to the little details! I would highly recommend her to trust with your fur baby! Harper will miss you!❤️

About: Hi! I’m Aydan, a lifelong dog lover who has grown up with dogs and cared for animals for as long as I can remember. Spending time with animals is genuinely one of my favorite things, and I understand how important it is to know your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. I’m dependable, attentive, and patient, whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, cuddles on the couch, or simply having a calm companion nearby. I treat every pet as if they were my own and take pride in providing reliable, loving care that gives pet parents peace of mind. I’ve had dogs my entire life and have over 10 years of hands-on experience caring for and walking my own dogs. While I’m newer to Rover, I’m very comfortable around dogs and understand the responsibility that comes with caring for someone’s beloved pet. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members! I’m a professional singer and performer who has spent the last few years traveling and performing aboard cruise ships. While I’ve loved the adventure, one of the things I’ve missed most while being away from home has been spending time with dogs and other animals! I grew up in Prescott and will be home in Arizona for the summer with a very open and flexible schedule. At the moment, I’m available for walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting throughout the week and am excited to build connections with both pets and their owners. Caring for animals is something I genuinely enjoy, and I’m looking forward to meeting new furry friends, getting outside for walks, and providing dependable care and companionship whenever it’s needed. I currently have two Australian Cattle Dogs, Max and Jazzy, who are my babies! They’re both 11 years old and still full of energy, so we’re out on daily walks and often exploring local trails and outdoor adventures together. Along with exercise, I make sure they get plenty of playtime, attention, affection, and of course lots of cuddles. Because I have dogs of my own at home, I’m not currently able to offer boarding or care in my home. However, I’m happy to provide walks, drop-in visits, and pet care in my clients’ homes. When caring for your pet, my goal is to maintain their normal routine and make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I’ll treat your dog with the same patience, attention, and care that I give to Max and Jazzy, making sure they get the exercise, companionship, and affection they need.

Highly recommend Shantell! She walked our two huskies several times over two weeks, and we felt completely comfortable with her and our babies. She really took the time to get to know our dogs and build a bond with them before their walks. She even went out of her way to get our very stubborn husky outside, which is no small task! We travel a lot and will absolutely be booking with Shantell again.

About: I have been an animal lover my whole life. I always had dogs, cats, and other small animals growing up. I’ve continued to have dogs and cats my entire adult life. I have helped friends and neighbors take care of their pets for many years. I’m reliable and love having pets to take care of! I am a school teacher, so I have summers off to take care of pets with few restrictions. During the school year, I work a 4 day week, so I am available to take care of pets pretty regularly. I can come to your home and take care of your pets so they feel comfortable and safe. I can follow all directions that your pet will need to make their time away from you easier. I am quiet, clean, and will keep your home just the way you left it.

About: With my years of professional experience and a lifetime of love for animals, I hope that I can be a reliable resource not only for your pets but for you as well. I am available for livestock care and house chores as well during the day for an extra fee. I look forward to hearing from you and caring for your furry babies. I have availability 7 days a week with small blocks for work 4 days a week, they are short shifts usually less than 6-7 hours. I will give notice of any dates that I am completely not available for. Just ask and I will gladly let you know. I personally have cats aged from 1-17 at home that I adore. I do not bring any of my own pets with me to any home. I keep my phone on loud and on me at all times for easy contacting. I have many of my own leashes, collars, etc so walks can go smoothly and make it an enjoyable experience for myself and the pet, but it is preferred to use items your pet is used to. I always keep extra water on me for all pets and all of my equipment gets cleaned between each pet use. I also keep my waist pack stocked with compostable poop bags, treats, paw salve and a water bottle for them. Your babies are my babies when I care for them. I will make sure they are safe and secure.

I have dog training and agility experience, and am also experienced with senior and special needs dogs. I’m available most weekends and often during the week. I’d love the opportunity to work out a schedule that works well for both of us. I always put the pets safety as the number one priority, always following the pet parent instructions to ensure a successful visit. About: I’ve lived with dogs since I was 7 or 8 years old. I finally got one of my own age 16. Family & friends have relied on me to take care of their pets if they were out town or errands to do. I would take care of them like one of my own. My fiancé has cared for birds, lizards, and fish, and has lived with and cared for dogs and cats for the last 8 years. As well as administered shots to many of our own furry friends. We can also bring in packages/mail and water plants upon request. I’m available anytime of the week. We could do weekdays after 6pm and any time on weekends. We can do middays & evenings depending on what we have scheduled. Unfortunately my home isn’t available for services but I can to do drop ins/dog walking services. I have a fenced yard, it’s secure & safe. I have some toys at my home. The owners are more than welcome to bring their toys with them. I do have 1 other pet here that aren’t not mine. I have a dog & a kitty of my own that is okay with dogs/cats. I always try to engage with my pets as well as the clients pets & care for them when needed.

Helin was fantastic with my French Bulldog, Sapphy, on April 26. It looked like they got along really well right away, which gave me a lot of confidence and peace of mind. She was caring, attentive, and clearly great with dogs. I also really appreciated that she shared helpful information about local plants like foxtails and warned me to watch out for them since they can get into paws and ears. That kind of extra care and knowledge means a lot. I’d definitely recommend Helin to anyone looking for a reliable and thoughtful dog walker.

About: i have taken care of my own two dogs for 15 plus years and instantly fell in love. i had such a strong passion for animals, i started my own clothing company to raise awareness for animal abuse. i have volunteered and taken care of various pets which all the owners were extremely satisfied! i take thorough care in any dog or animal that i take care of as if it were my own. i believe dogs are a very crucial part of peoples lives, and its only fitting that you find someone reliable and responsible who will take great care of them as well as love them and tend to their needs. i am available all days of the week, at pretty much any hour! I own my own company which allows me to work remotely from home so i can spend more time with your furry friends! Absolutely love this job! When I care for pets in their own home, my focus is on creating a calm, familiar, and deeply attentive experience that honors both the pet’s routine and the owner’s trust. I take the time to understand each animal’s personality, habits, and needs—whether that’s maintaining consistent feeding schedules, administering care with patience, or simply offering comfort and companionship in the spaces they know best. I treat every home and every pet as if they were my own, paying close attention to details, safety, and emotional well-being so pets feel secure, relaxed, and genuinely cared for while their owners are away.

About: Hello, my name is Stephanie. I love animals and the joy they bring to our lives. I understand animal’s needs for care and love. I use positive reinforcement training techniques. I can pet sit for dogs, cats, fish, reptiles, birds and some others by request, like chickens, goats, alpaca and llamas. I have volunteered at an alpaca farm. My animal experience started young, I grew up on a hobby farm in rural San Diego. We had many animals including dogs, cats, chicken, ducks, geese, pigs, and rabbits. Recently I had a sweet indoor/outdoor cat that I cared for him young through senior age with special health needs. As an adult I’ve had a Pit Bull-American Bulldog mix, a turtle and more cats. I have a Bachelors of Science in Biology with a Water Studies minor from MSU Denver and the One World, One Water center. I choose to pet sit because I enjoy being with all animals, and I love cats and dogs. While pet sitting I am available to stay at your home and take your dog(s) for a walks. I have a flexible work schedule. Happy to give your pets lots of attention. I ask questions to get to know the animal’s routine, how you would like your pets and home to be cared for while I am there. I will send you picture updates of your pets while I am in your home. I leave your home clean after the stay. I will send you pictures regularly. I will also provide other basic services such as bringing in the mail, watering plants, adjusting shades, putting out trash bins etc. Just let me know what you need!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
