About: I have been caring for animals since I was a child and began pet sitting professionally at 14 years old. Over the past four years, I have provided pet care for family, family friends, and friends of friends, building trust through reliable and attentive service. I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes, from 5 pounds to over 150 pounds, and have successfully managed multiple large dogs at once, including caring for four dogs ranging from 80–150 pounds. In addition to daily care such as feeding, walking, and playtime, I have experience teaching dogs new tricks and reinforcing basic commands. My experience extends beyond dogs as well. Growing up around a wide variety of animals has made me very comfortable and confident handling different species, temperaments, and care needs. I take pride in providing attentive, responsible, and compassionate care so pet owners can feel confident their animals are safe, happy, and well looked after while they are away. I’m currently working part-time. So I have plenty of time before 2pm and after 8on weekdays. On weekends Friday-Sunday im completely free. I will make sure I go above and beyond to satisfy your needs. I myself have animals and do not want to put any stress on either of our pets by bringing new ones in. Therefore I’m open to caring for pets inside my client’s home. While petsitting I will play with the pets as needed, take them on walks, stimulate them by teaching tricks and giving treats, spending time cuddling with them, pretty much anything I can do to make the pet comfortable and the client.

I spent 17 beautiful years with my senior cat, a journey that taught me the importance of patience, soft voices, and the specialized care that aging pets require. About: My name is Kristen. I grew up with a golden retriever, Kody, he was a family dog. I loved taking him on hikes and to the lake. I got my current dog Nalu, shortly after Kody passed. We grew up in Michigan, hiking trails and going to the lakes, we would watch the neighborhood dogs, friends dogs, family dogs. I've been around dogs all my life and love to care for them. I know dogs need consistency and structure to be fulfilled so I love working with them on walks. I have experience with all types of dogs, and know how to stay calm with high energy or reactive dogs. About: I am a life-long dog lover, and have had dogs (and cats) all of my life. I consider mine/and client's dogs as our kids, and treat with respect, love, and humor. With my own dogs, we walk & run every day for physical & mental stimulation. Trips to the dog park and beach are frequent, as are the dog spa for regular cleanings. About: Howdy! I have had pets all my life from cats to tarantulas. But dogs are my favorite as they are always glad to see you and love you unconditionally. They never fail to amaze me with their personalities. I have personally owned German Shepard's, a Cattle dog, a Rottweiler, Mixed breeds, Pugs and now French Bull dogs. Some started as puppies and others I have adopted were "seniors". One very special Pug I adopted from the Yavapai Humane Society was abused and had special needs. Regardless, everyone of them became a part of my family and my life! I am a retired police officer, I possessed a DPS Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance and I was trained by the Yavapai Humane Society as a (yellow) Volunteer Dog Walker where I was trained to walk all sorts of dog under a variety of conditions. As a trained dog walker, I learned to read the dog and make adjustments through positive motivations. I love the outdoors even more when I am with a dog, whether it's to pet, play, walk or run, it's all about the dog and understanding it's needs not mine. As a side note; I also am a tropical fish hobbyist and can care for your freshwater tropical fish. In addition, I am co-owner/adapted of an AZ Desert Sonoran Tortoise (through the AZ Game & FIsh Adoption Program). I try to accommodate working people or those who anticipate a long day away from home due to medical appointments, a shopping trip down to the valley or a round of golf! I find myself fortunate that the majority of my clients happen to be medical professionals from either YRMC or one of the other local medical providers. I realize they often have to work 10-12 hour shifts, or sometimes are held over. My schedule and the radius of my service area allows for me being able to accommodate these dedicated people and their pets, sometimes several times during the day. They say a picture is worth a 1000 words, but it also can provide you the peace of mind that your dog is in good hands. Typically I usually send 3 pictures, which means I carry my cell phone with my on our walks. This allows you not only Real Time pictures of your pup on a walk, but if you need to contact me it can be done while I out with your dog. The radius of my service area also happens to be my neighborhood of over 20 plus years, so I am pretty familiar with all safe places and hazard areas. In addition, I complete the Rover Card that tracks and documents where we walked to include the number pees and poops. I always carry a supply of poop bags on our walks.

I am a retired teacher and am looking to continue to give to others (the non-human types). I would be willing to house sit for short periods of time (1 to 1-1/2 week max).
