I’m available for short term or extended house/ pet sitting in your home in addition to walking and drop-in services! I’m looking forward to caring for you and your pet. “Taylor is a professional, thoughtful pet sitter. We felt comfortable leaving our much loved fur-friends in her care while we were out of the country. We have one senior kitty with medical and TLC requirements. Upon returning home we found ALL our babies fat and happy. Taylor even did the dishes! We highly recommend Taylor for any house or pet sitting you may need.”

“Carolyn did a great job for us. We had to make an emergency 10 day trip and our family members that normally watch our dogs were all going with us. We were grateful to find Rover and Carolyn! She came for a meet and greet and we took the dogs for a walk together and went over all the food, treats and yard cleaning needs. She made sure our trash and mail were taken care of as well which was greatly appreciated! She sent us daily visit pics so we knew our "kids" were happy and notes about everything she took care of. I will gladly call on Carolyn if needs arise in the future and I recommend her to you!”

About: If you’re looking for an experienced & loving pet sitter who will actually be there with your animals - including staying the night - you’re in the right place! Since I work from home, I can be with your animals almost 24/7. I can also share daily photos and updates with you while you are away if you'd like. I’ve had many pets since I was 2 so I have quite a lot of experience with cats and dogs specifically. I love to hike with dogs or Netflix and hang out with cats. I’m open to other types of unusual animals as well. I look forward to watching your fur babies as if they were my own :) I work remotely as a Health & Career Coach so I have loads of time for your animals :) I have scattered online meetings Monday to Thursday which leaves much time for caring for your animals, letting them outside, etc. I care for pets by playing with them, snuggling them, comforting them if they’re upset, putting my hand on their chest or head, leaving them alone if they want space, and overall just feeling out their moods. I usually gauge a pets personality and desires by simply watching them and seeing how they react to me. I like to be very loving and present with animals and they can definitely tell the difference.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Prescott. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
