Cat Whisperer
I have a deep knowledge of cat behavior and what we "big cats" (aka humans) should do to keep our feline friends healthy and happy. My experience grew immensely when I worked at a cat rescue. Most of the animals there were feral, and interacting with them made me keenly aware of how all cats think and see the world. Almost any cat I interact with responds to me with curiosity and trust.

Safety, trust & environment
When I visit your home to care for your pet(s), I treat your space with the same care that I do in my own home. And I always honor your pet's evaluation of me. Some animals can feel anxious around strangers. I never force the situation when I can see that the animal is nervous or cautious. Of course, if your pet is ready to be loved-up by me, I will pet, rub, scratch, and play until it's bedtime. I live in a studio apartment and do not offer boarding for your fur babies.

Patti is just phenomenal, hands down. We are so grateful to have found her, and plan on using her again and again. Our sweet cat, Toby, is nearly 19 years old, and leaving him for an extended time can be stressful for us and for him. Patti stayed in our home with him and provided frequent updates and such excellent care--when we returned, he was like, "Cool. Glad you're home, but where's Patti?" :) She provided a home visit beforehand to meet Toby, get clear on care instructions, and to make sure we were all comfortable with the arrangement. She also has a deep understanding of pet behavior, which is super helpful. We simply could not be more pleased with the care Patti provided and cannot emphasize enough the peace of mind it brought to know our guy was in such great hands. A bonus: I'm pretty sure our house was cleaner after than before Patti's visit! She is meticulous and a rare find.
Patti took great care of our two cats. She spent time playing and brushing them. She was enthusiastic and seemed to enjoy her time with them. Our house was tidy and litter clean upon our return. Thank you!
Patti is great and so easy to work with. We would highly recommend her. Our cat is a feral, but now indoors enjoying it greatly, but not the most social of cats. Patti did just fine with her.

Patti was great with our cat. Ali is shy and fearful and Ali took to her pretty fast. Animals seem to know good people. We recommend her and will use her again.
This was the first trip I’d taken away from Max and wasn’t sure how he’d do. When I returned, he was happy and (for him) calm. The house was clean, the litter box completely changed out, and I got daily reports which I appreciated, especially on the first day. I don’t travel often, but will request Patti again for sure.
