About: I've cared for and have raised many types and sizes of pets. I've witnessed both cat and dog deliveries, raised and pet-sat for neighbors, friends and family. I am able to give medications and eye drops. I currently do not have any pets and would enjoy caring for yours. I am dependable, responsible, and will follow your instructions for care. Thank you. I'm currently working part-time in Prescott Valley. However, I live in Prescott. I can walk animals early mornings before 8:00, at lunch, and after work on those days. I am available for sleepovers Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sundays. Your home, or mine. 😊 Meals and medications will be provided by you, and given as you request. Pets who sleep over will need to be indoor, as I do not have a fenced yard. If crate, and/or leash animals, pls provide items, including toys.

About: With 8 years of pet care experience, I have had the pleasure of working with a variety of pets of all types, ages, and needs. While most of my experience is with watching dogs, I have also cared for cats, chameleons, bunnies, and snakes, so I'm no stranger to a new situation! I have worked with all ages of dogs and cats, from fostering puppies to caring for seniors, as well as caring for pets with special needs. I'm comfortable with administering medications, and will tailor walks and playtimes to fit exactly what your pet needs. My focus is always making pets as happy, comfortable, and stress-free as they can be! With plenty of updates, you can feel confident they are in great hands. Besides the technical aspects of pet-sitting, I truly love animals and treat each one with the utmost respect and as if they are my own. Caring for pets is a natural part my daily routine. I am now pet sitting full time, so that means my full focus will be on your pets. This allows me to dedicate all of my day to play with, walk, and care for your pets. Making sure your pets are comfortable and happy is a top priority for me. I make sure to provide frequent potty breaks, playtime, and regular photo updates throughout the stay. Whether its's a walk, a cuddle, or nap time, I make sure to make the most out of each day to give your pet exactly what they need! While caring for pets in your home, I make it my priority to follow your instructions so your pets routine stays consistent. I pay attention to all details, such as walks, feeding times, medications, and any house rules you provide. If I ever have a question or notice something unusual, I will always reach out right away to keep you informed. I also pay close attention to your pet's body language, so I can tell when they are feeling playful and engaged, or if they would rather have some alone time.

As a travel nurse who packs up and moves to different places frequently it can be hard leaving your pet with a complete stranger while I’m working long hours at work. Luckily I found Lela through Rover and it eased my mind knowing she was in such good hands. She was always communicative, loving to Harper, and always paying attention to the little details! I would highly recommend her to trust with your fur baby! Harper will miss you!❤️

About: With my years of professional experience and a lifetime of love for animals, I hope that I can be a reliable resource not only for your pets but for you as well. I am available for livestock care and house chores as well during the day for an extra fee. I look forward to hearing from you and caring for your furry babies. I have availability 7 days a week with small blocks for work in the evenings 4 days a week, they are short shifts usually less than 6 hours. I will give notice of any dates that I am completely not available for. Just ask and I will gladly let you know. I personally have cats aged from 1-17 at home that I adore. I do not bring any of my own pets with me to any home. I keep my phone on loud and on me at all times for easy contacting. I have many of my own leashes, collars, etc so walks can go smoothly and make it an enjoyable experience for myself and the pet, but it is preferred to use items your pet is used to. I always keep extra water on me for all pets and all of my equipment gets cleaned between each pet use. I also keep my waist pack stocked with compostable poop bags, treats, paw salve and a water bottle for them. Your babies are my babies when I care for them. I will make sure they are safe and secure.

About: Hello! My name is Stephanie, and I’m a lifelong animal lover and experienced pet caregiver based in Prescott, AZ and the Tri-City Area. I grew up rescuing and rehoming cats, and as an adult I’ve cared for both dogs and cats with all kinds of personalities and needs. For the past few years, I’ve shared life with Ozzy, my friendly 3-year-old Labradoodle, and my spunky Labradoodle puppy, Maple and her sister Stroodle. We love long walks, playtime at the park, and a good game of tug or fetch! I’m very familiar with high-energy, social breeds that need both exercise and attention. Having raised 3 puppies, I am also comfortable working with young dogs and helping them develop important social and basic training skills. As a pet parent who has used Rover, I understand how important it is to find reliable, supervised care for your fur baby. I have had some "interesting" experiences when I hired sitters for my own pets, and I learned from being client how important it is to treat your clients. Your instructions, guidelines, and requests will be followed specifically. You will receive routine reports and updates. I will not be sitting on a couch watching TV. If you hire me to be with your pet, we will be engaged together. Whether you need drop-in visits, dog walking, or in-home pet sitting, I’ll make sure your pet is supervised, entertained, and exercised. Outside of pet care, I’m a freelance photographer and mixology enthusiast, so I bring creativity and calm focus to everything I do. I can’t wait to meet your pet and make them part of my extended furry family! I currently work part-time, which means I have plenty of time to give your furry baby lots of love and attention! I am currently available all day, morning, noon, and night, on Sundays, Mondays, and Thursdays. I always prioritize safety, comfort, and trust when caring for pets. I use leashes for secure outdoor time, and I make sure every walk, drop in, or visit fits their unique routine. As a Prescott local, I know plenty of great spots for safe, scenic walks!

About: I have been an animal lover my whole life. I always had dogs, cats, and other small animals growing up. I’ve continued to have dogs and cats my entire adult life. I have helped friends and neighbors take care of their pets for many years. I’m reliable and love having pets to take care of! I am a school teacher, so I have summers off to take care of pets with few restrictions. During the school year, I work a 4 day week, so I am available to take care of pets pretty regularly. I can come to your home and take care of your pets so they feel comfortable and safe. I can follow all directions that your pet will need to make their time away from you easier. I am quiet, clean, and will keep your home just the way you left it.

Highly recommend Shantell! She walked our two huskies several times over two weeks, and we felt completely comfortable with her and our babies. She really took the time to get to know our dogs and build a bond with them before their walks. She even went out of her way to get our very stubborn husky outside, which is no small task! We travel a lot and will absolutely be booking with Shantell again.

About: As long as I can remember my family has always had multiple pets in the house. Whether it was birds, reptiles, dogs of all sizes, or cats. I had the responsibility of taking the dogs outside to go to the bathroom, feeding them breakfast and dinner, and bathing them. I used to dog sit my neighbors dog when she went on vacation for 1/2 weeks at a time some things I was trusted doing, was letting the dog out, feeding the dog, playtime with the dog, and locking up the house securely. As of now I take care of my own dog who is completely blind, and needs extra help with leading him places, feeding time, and medication. So I am definitely up to a challenge. I’m currently a vet technician at a animal hospital, so I know a few things. I can trim nails, express anal glands, and bath your pets if requested. Bathing would need to be in your own tub or outside in your yard. I’m currently working part time on the weekends only so I’m available during the week! I have dogs of my own but they are okay if I leave for a little while. I will take care of your pets like my own, and make sure they are comfortable and taken care of. I love every animal and will love yours also.

About: Currently i have two small dogs a cat and a gecko. Growing up my mother was always taking in strays and helping nurse them back to good health. So we could find them their forever home. We always had dogs and cats in the house. There were plenty of times I have had to administer medication and take special care of the pups. I’m currently working a Part-Time job, but am looking to make this more of my permanent job. I’m available after 2 pm as of now, but in the future will have more availability. Since our yard is not fenced we leash the pups before going out to ensure safety. Our dogs are very friendly and will be more than happy to keep your pups company. As well as up to date on their vaccines and spayed. We have the means for night crating or even just some alone time if needed. We do not smoke in the home as to ensure our pets health.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
