As a travel nurse who packs up and moves to different places frequently it can be hard leaving your pet with a complete stranger while I’m working long hours at work. Luckily I found Lela through Rover and it eased my mind knowing she was in such good hands. She was always communicative, loving to Harper, and always paying attention to the little details! I would highly recommend her to trust with your fur baby! Harper will miss you!❤️

About: Hi! I’m Aydan, a lifelong dog lover who has grown up with dogs and cared for animals for as long as I can remember. Spending time with animals is genuinely one of my favorite things, and I understand how important it is to know your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. I’m dependable, attentive, and patient, whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, cuddles on the couch, or simply having a calm companion nearby. I treat every pet as if they were my own and take pride in providing reliable, loving care that gives pet parents peace of mind. I’ve had dogs my entire life and have over 10 years of hands-on experience caring for and walking my own dogs. While I’m newer to Rover, I’m very comfortable around dogs and understand the responsibility that comes with caring for someone’s beloved pet. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members! I’m a professional singer and performer who has spent the last few years traveling and performing aboard cruise ships. While I’ve loved the adventure, one of the things I’ve missed most while being away from home has been spending time with dogs and other animals! I grew up in Prescott and will be home in Arizona for the summer with a very open and flexible schedule. At the moment, I’m available for walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting throughout the week and am excited to build connections with both pets and their owners. Caring for animals is something I genuinely enjoy, and I’m looking forward to meeting new furry friends, getting outside for walks, and providing dependable care and companionship whenever it’s needed. I currently have two Australian Cattle Dogs, Max and Jazzy, who are my babies! They’re both 11 years old and still full of energy, so we’re out on daily walks and often exploring local trails and outdoor adventures together. Along with exercise, I make sure they get plenty of playtime, attention, affection, and of course lots of cuddles. Because I have dogs of my own at home, I’m not currently able to offer boarding or care in my home. However, I’m happy to provide walks, drop-in visits, and pet care in my clients’ homes. When caring for your pet, my goal is to maintain their normal routine and make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I’ll treat your dog with the same patience, attention, and care that I give to Max and Jazzy, making sure they get the exercise, companionship, and affection they need.

About: I’m considered the “animal person” in my family. It doesn’t matter what type of animal it is, I want to pet it! I spent my whole life with dogs, and I’m currently living in a petless household. So, not only do you benefit from my services, but I get the added bonus of being with furry friends! I’m currently working full-time, but have Fridays off during the summer, in addition to weekends. If an “emergency,” I can stop by after work on weekdays I will do everything I can to make your pet feel safe and happy while you are not with them. I am incredibly patient and will acknowledge any boundaries your pet has. My dog Gurdy (who lives with my mom) was rescued from the meat trade in Korea right before she came to us, and she was incredibly traumatized. After providing her with the live and care she deserved, she is now one of the happiest dogs I have ever seen

About: House, Farms, Pet Sitting Services (Prescott) I’ve been a passionate pet owner my whole life. I’ve owned my own horse farm, was passionate with training my German Shepards and the last 20 years I’ve rescued greyhounds as well as other rescue dogs. I was a manager at playtime at a rescue for several years. I’m calm and love to cherish pets as they so deserve. Recently sold my coffee roasting business and I’ve picked a passion I’d like to spend in my semi retired years. I’ve owned several homes in Oregon, California and now my husband and I reside in Prescott. I’m available for home/farm/pet sitting in your home. I can also do drop-in care, exercise your pooches, overnights as well as emergency care. I love all animals: dog, cats, horses and various farm animals. Difficult animals no problem. You plants will thrive in my care as well. I personally know how important this is when you travel. My schedule is around my clients pet care needs. My husband loves animals as much as I do, and he cares for our two dogs when I’m caring for yours! We turn our dogs out in our fenced yard when we are present throughout the day. We also have a wonderful quiet neighborhood to walk our dogs. At my clients home I follow whatever protocol they request, be that supervised turnouts, leashed walks or dog park time.

We grew up in Michigan, hiking trails and going to the lakes, we would watch the neighborhood dogs, friends dogs, family dogs. I've been around dogs all my life and love to care for them. I get fulfillment out of connecting with dogs and spending time with them. Don’t hesitate to reach out if you think I'm a good fit and I'll see if my schedule works. About: Hi! I'm Lennia (Samantha) I live in Phoenix and I am excited to do something I love which is caring for your four legged family member. I'm looking to sit all dogs or cats in their own home and small dogs in my home or theirs. I love dogs I have grown up with them all my life. Pomeranians, Siberian Husky mixed with German Shepard, Chihuahua, Jack Russell Terrier mixed with Shih Tzu, Two pit bulls. So I have had a wide array of Animal experience and I'm confident I can handle any puppy with the right instruction. I don't have a favorite breed because each one is different and all my dogs have been/are wonderful and amazing and since moving I miss them so much. So I can't wait for Christmas to see them. Until then let me spoil your pup. Why I love dog sitting Since the day I was born! I have always have had a dog in my home. It's crazy to say not a year of my life has gone by without a dog in my life but I'm so thankful for it. I have grown up with many different dogs with all different temperaments. I also would always watch my neighbors dogs as a teen so I have experience with house and pet sitting. My experience administering medication I am comfortable with by mouth medication and topical but no needles/injections. Now I have a 2 year old pup of my own only 5lbs and I am so thankful to have my own pet and to be able to love yours while your away. I will treat your dog/cat as I love my own. I am currently working on building my own company so I have a lot of flexibility in my daily routine for walks, drop-ins and pet sitting. I follow all your rules to the letter my goal os to keep your fur child's routine the same. I leave your home clean and pristine, and your pet happy and loved.

About: As long as I can remember my family has always had multiple pets in the house. Whether it was birds, reptiles, dogs of all sizes, or cats. I had the responsibility of taking the dogs outside to go to the bathroom, feeding them breakfast and dinner, and bathing them. I used to dog sit my neighbors dog when she went on vacation for 1/2 weeks at a time some things I was trusted doing, was letting the dog out, feeding the dog, playtime with the dog, and locking up the house securely. As of now I take care of my own dog who is completely blind, and needs extra help with leading him places, feeding time, and medication. So I am definitely up to a challenge. I’m currently a vet technician at a animal hospital, so I know a few things. I can trim nails, express anal glands, and bath your pets if requested. Bathing would need to be in your own tub or outside in your yard. I’m currently working part time on the weekends only so I’m available during the week! I have dogs of my own but they are okay if I leave for a little while. I will take care of your pets like my own, and make sure they are comfortable and taken care of. I love every animal and will love yours also.

About: I would love to spend some time with your furry friend! If your dog enjoys a morning walk or hike we can go together. If your cat wants a warm lap to curl up in, I will happily oblige. Whether they need to be pampered or cared for, big and small pets are wonderful. If they have special needs, I will follow your instructions to ensure you have one less thing to worry about. I am detail oriented and appreciate clear instructions if that is needed. Being away from your furry companion can be difficult for you as well. If you would like, I can send you updates and/or pictures so you can see what they are up to while you are away. I prioritize pets. When I commit to taking care of your pets their safety and happiness is my primary focus. I try to mimic the routine they have when you are home. Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Groom Creek. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Groom Creek.

Got specific details you'd like the dog walker to include? Message them in the app before your dog’s walk begins.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Groom Creek. On Rover:

  • 100% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 100% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
