“Summer is always dependable, knows our Karma, when to adjust her schedule and is very flexible with our schedule. Will always feel assured when away! She’s the best!”

“Shantell is fantastic! I've had quite a journey finding the right sitter for my two cats while I'm away, and I've finally found the right person. She is reliable, follows directions, has great communication, and most importantly, truly cared about establishing a bond with my cats.”

“Very happy with the communication and care on this first day stay. I was nervous at drop off, Deanna calmed and reassured both my dog and me. She updated me through the day and included photos. Lily was happy at pick up, we look forward to the next visit. Thanks so much!!”

“Taylor is a professional, thoughtful pet sitter. We felt comfortable leaving our much loved fur-friends in her care while we were out of the country. We have one senior kitty with medical and TLC requirements. Upon returning home we found ALL our babies fat and happy. Taylor even did the dishes! We highly recommend Taylor for any house or pet sitting you may need.”

“Carolyn did a great job for us. We had to make an emergency 10 day trip and our family members that normally watch our dogs were all going with us. We were grateful to find Rover and Carolyn! She came for a meet and greet and we took the dogs for a walk together and went over all the food, treats and yard cleaning needs. She made sure our trash and mail were taken care of as well which was greatly appreciated! She sent us daily visit pics so we knew our "kids" were happy and notes about everything she took care of. I will gladly call on Carolyn if needs arise in the future and I recommend her to you!”

About: I have hands-on experience caring for pets of all kinds, including my Yorkie puppy and several senior cats. I provide daily attention, training, exercise, and care for medical or behavioral needs. I’m comfortable with skittish, anxious, or energetic pets, and I treat every animal with patience, love, and consistency. Pets aren’t just animals to me—they’re family, and I’m committed to keeping them happy, healthy, and safe. Pet care fits easily into my daily and weekly routine. I am currently not working, so I have a flexible schedule and can provide consistent care, playtime, and attention throughout the day. My main commitments are taking my daughter to and from school, appointments, and interviews, but I plan my time carefully to ensure pets always receive the care and supervision they need. I enjoy creating a reliable, loving routine for every animal I care for. I care for pets with attention, consistency, and compassion, whether in my home or the client’s home. I provide feeding, exercise, playtime, and mental stimulation tailored to each pet’s needs. For pets with medical or behavioral needs, I follow specific instructions carefully, administer medications if required, and monitor their health and well-being closely. I ensure their environment is safe, clean, and comfortable, and I give them plenty of love and attention so they feel secure and happy while in my care.
About: I have been caring for animals since I was a child and began pet sitting professionally at 14 years old. Over the past four years, I have provided pet care for family, family friends, and friends of friends, building trust through reliable and attentive service. I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes, from 5 pounds to over 150 pounds, and have successfully managed multiple large dogs at once, including caring for four dogs ranging from 80–150 pounds. In addition to daily care such as feeding, walking, and playtime, I have experience teaching dogs new tricks and reinforcing basic commands. My experience extends beyond dogs as well. Growing up around a wide variety of animals has made me very comfortable and confident handling different species, temperaments, and care needs. I take pride in providing attentive, responsible, and compassionate care so pet owners can feel confident their animals are safe, happy, and well looked after while they are away. I’m currently working part-time. So I have plenty of time before 2pm and after 8on weekdays. On weekends Friday-Sunday im completely free. I will make sure I go above and beyond to satisfy your needs. I myself have animals and do not want to put any stress on either of our pets by bringing new ones in. Therefore I’m open to caring for pets inside my client’s home. While petsitting I will play with the pets as needed, take them on walks, stimulate them by teaching tricks and giving treats, spending time cuddling with them, pretty much anything I can do to make the pet comfortable and the client.

“Evelyn was so sweet and took amazing care of my 4 kittens! They're a handful and need a lot of attention and care but she did great!! Definitely recommend booking with her 🤗”

I am able to give medications and eye drops. I currently do not have any pets and would enjoy caring for yours. I am dependable, responsible, and will follow your instructions for care. Thank you. I'm currently working part-time in Prescott Valley. However, I live in Prescott. I can walk animals early mornings before 8:00, at lunch, and after work on those days. I am available for sleepovers Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sundays. Your home, or mine. 😊 Meals and medications will be provided by you, and given as you request. About: Caring for animals has been a lifelong passion of mine. I’ve had the privilege of working with a wide range of pets, including chickens, snakes, hamsters, parakeets, and litters of cats and dogs. I’ve personally rehabilitated numerous cat and dog rescues, providing consistent care and support to help them heal and thrive. My volunteer experience includes caring for cats at PetSmart and working at an animal sanctuary for farm animals. I approach every pet I care for with love, attention, and respect, ensuring they feel safe, happy, and well cared for at all times. As a remote worker, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide excellent pet care. If there is stable internet, I can accommodate overnight visits even on weekdays. My workday ends at 2:30 PM, giving me plenty of time in the afternoons and evenings to focus on pets' needs. In both my home and my client's home, I bring my deep love for animals to every aspect of care, prioritizing safety, trust, and a nurturing environment. I meticulously ensure all areas are secure and free of hazards while adhering to specific safety instructions from pet owners. My genuine affection for pets drives me to be consistent, attentive, and responsive to their needs, respecting their routines and maintaining open communication with their owners for regular updates. I create a calming and enriching environment, keeping their usual routines, providing engaging activities, and showering them with the affection they deserve. My passion for animals ensures they feel loved, secure, and well-cared for, whether in my home or theirs.

About: I’ve recently been able to manage 4 dogs who had to be separated by twos in separate rooms. This was probably one of my most difficult tasks to handle, it was 2 frenchies and then my regular dogs I dog sit for. I ran into a few problems, throwing up in the house, not eating, struggling to separate them at times and not being able to get them into their crates. But eventually I was able to manage a certain style to it. So currently I am enrolled fully at Embry Riddle as a freshman. I am also in AFROTC. But I can be flexible with my schedule in mornings, after 7:30. My Thursdays are open because I have no classes. Most of my classes start around 11 and end around 2-3. Wednesday will probably be a no go, unless it’s in the morning, 7:45-9:30 or late afternoon, 7-9:30. Weekends just let me know in advanced and we can communicate on that, just so I don’t plan to go anywhere. Since I am in college pets can’t be at my dorm at all. Usually in the clients home it depends on their needs for the pets. Does the pet need walks, do I need to let the dog out to go to the bathroom, is the pet on a specific food schedule/diet, or does the pet just need love when the owner is at work for long periods at a time?

About: I bring grounded, intuitive care that helps pets feel safe and loved. With calm energy and mindful attention, I tune into each animal’s unique comfort and personality. Pet care naturally fits into my rhythm of caregiving and mindful living. When staying in a client’s home, I structure my days around the pet’s needs—morning walks, mealtimes, play, and quiet companionship. I’m intentional about creating a calm, consistent environment that mirrors their usual routine. Whether I’m journaling, working remotely, or tidying up, I make sure your pet feels seen, engaged, and cared for throughout the day. It’s a seamless blend of presence, structure, and affection—because I believe every animal deserves to feel secure and loved while their people are away. When caring for pets in their own home, I focus on maintaining comfort, consistency, and trust. I follow each pet’s normal routine—meals, walks, play, and rest—so they feel secure and supported. Before any stay, I prefer to meet the pet and family to get to know their personality, routines, and any special needs. This helps build a sense of familiarity and ensures a smooth transition once you’re away. During my stay, I keep the home tidy, communicate regularly, and offer attentive, heart-centered care—so your pet feels loved and your space is respected.
“Windi was absolutely fantastic with our dog. She even gave him a present for when we got back fro our trip. She took such good care of our dog when we were gone! Would absolutely recommend!”
About: I live on 3 acres of land with plenty of room for pets to play and explore, plus a doggie door for easy in-and-out freedom. I also have a small farm, so I respectfully ask that visiting pets are comfortable around other animals (and won’t be tempted to make them a snack!)🤪. I’ve been doing pet sitting and boarding for over six years, and I truly love caring for animals. I work part time, which gives me plenty of time to hang out with your dogs and give them the attention they deserve. Friends and clients describe me as kind, patient, dependable, and hardworking—and I’ll treat your pets like part of my own family.☺️ Since I work part time, I have a very flexible schedule that allows me to spend plenty of time with the pets I care for. I’m home often throughout the day, which means lots of attention, playtime, and walks. Your pets won’t be left alone for long stretches, and I make it a priority to keep them on their usual routine so they feel comfortable and cared for. Your pets will be in a safe and loving environment while they stay with me. I have a fenced yard on 3 acres, giving them plenty of secure space to run and play, along with a doggie door for easy access in and out. My two sweet, playful dogs love having new friends around and are great at keeping visiting pups company. I do everything I can to make sure each pet feels comfortable, cared for, and part of the family while they’re here.

We love Summer! She is dependable, trustworthy and so easy to work with. We can leave for extended trips now and know our animals are well cared for. AND we have a very old kitty with medication needs that Summer takes care of. Anyone would be lucky to have her care for their pets/home.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
