Summer has been so wonderful. She was willing to help us last minute and was so responsible and tried to get our very shy kitty to come around. We are thankful.

About: I’ve grown up in a home with multiple dogs and now have two pups of my own—including one who is deaf—so I’m experienced with a variety of needs and communication styles. Caring for dogs is second nature to me. I primarily work from home with a lot of flexibility in my schedule, so I am happy to fill that time by helping check in on your pups! When caring for pets in a client’s home, I make it a priority to follow their usual routine as closely as possible—whether that’s feeding times, walks, play, or quiet time. I respect the home as if it were my own, keeping it clean and secure. I also make sure to give pets lots of love and attention, and I keep in regular contact with the owner through updates and photos so they can feel at ease while they’re away.

Amanda took care of our fur babies and did a fantastic job! They all fell in love with her almost right away. She knows her way around dogs when one might be a little scared at first. Our male rescue warmed up to her quickly. It was great that she was not frightened by his loud barks and she took to him so quickly!! Thank you, Amanda!! We will definitely be having you come over again!! ?

About: I've cared for and have raised many types and sizes of pets. I've witnessed both cat and dog deliveries, raised and pet-sat for neighbors, friends and family. I am able to give medications and eye drops. I currently do not have any pets and would enjoy caring for yours. I am dependable, responsible, and will follow your instructions for care. Thank you. I'm currently working part-time in Prescott Valley. However, I live in Prescott. I can walk animals early mornings before 8:00, at lunch, and after work on those days. I am available for sleepovers Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sundays. Your home, or mine. 😊 Meals and medications will be provided by you, and given as you request. Pets who sleep over will need to be indoor, as I do not have a fenced yard. If crate, and/or leash animals, pls provide items, including toys.

About: I live on 3 acres of land with plenty of room for pets to play and explore, plus a doggie door for easy in-and-out freedom. I also have a small farm, so I respectfully ask that visiting pets are comfortable around other animals (and won’t be tempted to make them a snack!)🤪. I’ve been doing pet sitting and boarding for over six years, and I truly love caring for animals. I work part time, which gives me plenty of time to hang out with your dogs and give them the attention they deserve. Friends and clients describe me as kind, patient, dependable, and hardworking—and I’ll treat your pets like part of my own family.☺️ Since I work part time, I have a very flexible schedule that allows me to spend plenty of time with the pets I care for. I’m home often throughout the day, which means lots of attention, playtime, and walks. Your pets won’t be left alone for long stretches, and I make it a priority to keep them on their usual routine so they feel comfortable and cared for. Your pets will be in a safe and loving environment while they stay with me. I have a fenced yard on 3 acres, giving them plenty of secure space to run and play, along with a doggie door for easy access in and out. My two sweet, playful dogs love having new friends around and are great at keeping visiting pups company. I do everything I can to make sure each pet feels comfortable, cared for, and part of the family while they’re here.

About: I have hands-on experience caring for pets of all kinds, including my Yorkie puppy and several senior cats. I provide daily attention, training, exercise, and care for medical or behavioral needs. I’m comfortable with skittish, anxious, or energetic pets, and I treat every animal with patience, love, and consistency. Pets aren’t just animals to me—they’re family, and I’m committed to keeping them happy, healthy, and safe. Pet care fits easily into my daily and weekly routine. I am currently not working, so I have a flexible schedule and can provide consistent care, playtime, and attention throughout the day. My main commitments are taking my daughter to and from school, appointments, and interviews, but I plan my time carefully to ensure pets always receive the care and supervision they need. I enjoy creating a reliable, loving routine for every animal I care for. I care for pets with attention, consistency, and compassion, whether in my home or the client’s home. I provide feeding, exercise, playtime, and mental stimulation tailored to each pet’s needs. For pets with medical or behavioral needs, I follow specific instructions carefully, administer medications if required, and monitor their health and well-being closely. About: I love animals and have always had dogs, cats, fish, snakes, turtles, you name it! I am ex military and LE, trustworthy, and understand how stressful finding quality pet care can be! I've pet sat many times before without issues! I am respectful and clean and communicative. 😊 I am on an intentional break from work, mental reset after LE, looking for extra cash and animal therapy before my next career starts - this fits the bill! I have time and reliable transportation for your beloved pets! I love playing with pups and getting them exercise! I have 2 large rambunctious pups at home, one of which is an unfixed male, so dogs in and out of my house isnt a good idea. More than enough space and time for reptiles or smaller caged animals like birds and rodents!

About: Hi, I’m Helin or you can call me Helen. I believe that every animal—whether they have fur, feathers, or a shell—deserves to feel safe, seen, and never lonely. My life has been a journey of caring for all kinds of creatures, and I’ve decided to dedicate myself to this full-time because I truly believe no pet should have to wait by the door alone. My heart has always been most at home with animals. I spent 17 beautiful years with my senior cat, a journey that taught me the importance of patience, soft voices, and the specialized care that aging pets require. Beyond my cat and dog companions, I’ve had the joy of caring for aquatic turtles and birds, so I am very comfortable with the unique rhythms and delicate needs of "non-traditional" pets. By day, I work as a receptionist at an emergency animal clinic. This role has shaped me into a calm, observant caretaker who knows how to listen to what an animal is telling me, even when they can’t speak. I bring that same watchful, protective energy into your home, ensuring your pets are not just fed, but truly cared for. I'm free 4 days of the week and I work full time 3 days of the week but I can make accommodations if I need a day/week off to take care of a pet because pet sitting is the thing I love the most to do. I can take care of your pet in your home, take them out to walks, feed them& play with them using the instructions you provide me.

About: I have had pets of all kinds my entire life; both large and small dogs, cats, guinea pigs, fish, lizards and a snake at one point. I am excited to meet you and your pet or pets. In 2020 and 2021, I fostered dogs with Arizona Small Dog Rescue. I started professionally pet sitting in the North Phoenix, Anthem, Glendale, and Scottsdale areas a few years ago before moving to the Prescott area. I prefer to have a Meet & Greet with you and your pet prior to all of my services. Scheduling a Meet & Greet gives me the opportunity to meet you and your pets, go over their routine, and address any additional concerns or questions you may have. I worked as a pharmacist for the last few years, but I have chosen to pursue my passion for animal care in my spare time. Walking: Walks can include a timed walk around your neighborhood with your dog, responsible disposal of pet waste during the walk, food/water refill on returning home, & photos if requested. I am happy to walk your dog in your neighborhood or local park. I have experience with street safety training and have taught my own dog to wait before leaving a curb or crossing the street. Feel free to reach out if you have questions or if your pet has specific needs you would like to discuss. Daytime Drop-in Visits: Day Drop-in Visits can include refilling food & water, playtime, medication administration, & photo or video updates. Feel free to message me to discuss any individual needs your pet or pets have, I am happy to accommodate. House Sitting: I will stay with your pets overnight (8PM to 8AM) in the comfort of your pets’ own home while you are out of town. This service can include feeding, playing, walking, medication administration, photo & video updates of your pets, as well as general house sitting services, such as checking the mail, taking the trash bins out, & watering plants.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Paulden. On Rover:

  • 100% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 91% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
