“Audrey, was absolutely wonderful! She took the absolute best care of our little guy Kobe! Kobe does have anxiety/separation issues, she was the perfect human for him! She cared for him as she would have her own. She followed all the detailed instructions for Kobe. I would 10000% recommend her to come and stay and watch your animal! Thank you so so much Audrey!”

“Atlantis went above and beyond dog sitting for Melo. She sent me tons of pictures and updates while I was away. My vacation was very relaxing thanks to her updates. She also left my house spotless. I highly recommend Atlantis.”

“Jadah is absolutely great. The pets loved her and she sent lots of photos and video and we could see how happy they were and well taken care of and got lots of love. She also has great communication! We highly recommend her as a reliable, friendly, sitter. I'd give more stars if I could!”

“Jena was wonderful with my dogs, both dogs warmed to her easily, which they do not do easily. Jena provided daily updates and pics, took them for walks, which they love! Picked up back yard after dogs..Thank you, and she took the time to clean/wiped down kitchen and living room areas, where the dogs go, so I came home to a clean place..so nice..”

About: I’ve always had dogs my whole life, including my childhood dog Gordon, and my current dog Maestro. I’ve bathed them, fed them, and picked up their poop lol. Both have been injured and I nurtured both of them to health. I take great care and have an enormous love for animals, and I understand the trust needed in those who care for your pets. I want to be that person for you :) I currently work part time, so I’ll have a good amount of time to spend with your fluffy companions. I have a slightly irregular work schedule so communication is super important for me in figuring out good times for me to watch your pets! Let’s talk about it :) Like I was saying before, I absolutely adore animals and I’m currently in college studying forestry to one day protect the animals in the wild. I will always offer love and affection, bring them a toy or two, and maybe even some treats. Your pet will not miss out on the attention while you’re gone, I promise!
About: I have done plenty of house sitting, dog walking, and pet sitting over many years! With friends, family, and neighbors! I love animals! Thank you! I work part time at the Flagstaff YMCA and am a student at NAU. I am usually pretty free during the day or late at night to care for your pets! I take pets on daily walks more than once a day, I also ensure all animals receive the time and freedom to complete their potty routines outside it in the recommended potty places! I also like to stick to my clients regiment for feeding. I ensure I follow all rules and suggestions with great care.
“Devon is excellent. She was wonderful with our pups. Came over twice before the day to meet and become more familiar with the dogs. We returned to an immaculate home and happy pups. We recommend her highly and will use her again.”

About: Hello my name is Ashley! I have been pet sitting for close to 10 years and have experience caring for a wide range of animals, from small dogs to large breeds like Great Danes and Mastiffs, as well as cats and fish. I’m trustworthy, reliable, and absolutely love animals. I take the time to get to know each pet’s unique personality and needs, and I treat them like they’re my own. I have experience with senior dogs as well as senior cats along with oral and topical medication needs. Caring for animals is truly my passion, and I’m excited to treat your pets like part of my family. I make sure to dedicate quality time for every pet. I am currently finishing my bachelors online at NAU and have quite a bit of flexibility in my schedule. When watching your pet at your home, I make sure to stick to their routine. I’ll also make sure they feel safe and comfortable, offering plenty of attention and love. I’ll clean up after them and follow any specific instructions you provide to ensure they have a stress-free experience while you're away.
About: Hi! I’m so happy you’re here! My name is Sydney and I’ve had dogs my whole life! From crate training to daily walks i’m here for all your needs. I would love to care for your dog like they’re my own and treat them like family while you take some me time. I do work and have school full time Monday-Friday but could do evening drop ins those days if needed! I can stay in home in Flagstaff area on weekdays if needed, but will need to go to work in person for at least 6 hours a day (could go home for lunch). Happy to provide doggy day care and overnights at my house too Thursday evening-Monday morning! I do work or have school full time weekdays but I am pretty flexible with being able to stop by and let them out! I am home most evenings and weekends! I am able to take dogs out on multiple walks a day and let them out every hour on weekends! I can give lots of cuddles and attend to any type of feeding or medication schedule.
About: I’ve taken care of a wide variety of dogs for the past three years, including dropping by my friends’ houses to watch their pets and homes while they enjoy themselves on a getaway vacation. I’ve had personal experience with having my own dog throughout the majority of my life, and have always had so much love in my heart for caring for my own pets, and my friends and family’s pets as well. My Australian shepherd male dog also recently had puppies, and I have been working with these 7 puppies on potty training, engaging in play, and also discipline by teaching basic commands such as sit, stay, and break. I’m currently working as a full time therapist Monday-Fridays and enjoy taking my dog on hikes & walks throughout the week, especially on the weekend. In my own apartment, I take my 3 year old Australian shepherd on approximately 3 walks a day, and we typically are at the dog park once a week so that he can socialize with other dogs. For my close friends’ I tend to let their dogs roam around in the backyard, feed them, and also engage in fetch. I also enjoy being able to lay on the couch cuddled up watching a tv show with their pets as well to provide rest between playing times.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Bellemont walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Bellemont maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Bellemont choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Bellemont. On Rover:
- 88% of sitters can help with special care needs

- 100% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
