13. Kellye H.
About: Hello, my name is Kellye, and I am a small business owner with locations in both Sedona and Los Angeles. Due to the nature of my work, I split my time between these two cities, traveling frequently and spending about half the month in each. For over 15 years, I have been deeply involved in animal care, primarily as a foster for dogs and cats. My experience spans a wide range of animals, from puppies and kittens to senior pets with special needs. I’ve also had the privilege of caring for puppies with parvo, one of whom I ended up adopting as my own cherished fur baby. In addition to my fostering experience, I have a deep passion for all animals. Currently, I share my home with four rescue pets: two cats and two dogs. They are my beloved companions and are cared for as if they were my children. When I travel, my partner looks after them, ensuring they receive the same level of attention and affection that I would give. (Don’t worry they will not be coming with me when I pet sit) When you entrust your pets to my care, you can rest assured that they will be treated with the same love, respect, and compassion that I show my own animals. I understand how important your fur babies are to you, and I’m committed to providing them with the best possible care while you're away. I take great pride in preparing homemade, nutritionally balanced meals from scratch for my animals, specifically tailored to meet the dietary needs of both dogs and cats. I believe that providing high-quality, carefully crafted meals ensures that my pets receive the full benefit of their food, promoting optimal health and well-being. My commitment to their nutrition goes beyond just feeding them; I aim to offer meals that support their overall vitality, energy levels, and longevity. At home, I tend to spoil my dogs and cats with love, attention, and the very best care, which includes gourmet meals and treats. Rest assured, if you choose to entrust your pets to my care, they will get similar TLC. Whether it's preparing a special meal, giving extra belly rubs, or providing personalized attention, I always aim to make your pets feel as loved and cherished as my own. I understand how important it is for your pet to feel secure and comfortable while you are away, which is why I make it a priority to maintain their normal routine, no matter what that entails. Consistency is key in ensuring your pet feels safe and reduces any potential anxiety. The absence of a pet parent for an extended period can be stressful for animals, especially when they are left without familiar faces or routines. To help ease this transition and create a sense of continuity, I will ask for an item of your clothing that carries your scent. This simple gesture can have a calming effect, offering your pet a sense of comfort and familiarity during your absence. Additionally, I have extensive experience working with reactive and anxious animals, and I am well-versed in managing pets who are stressed or nervous. Whether it's through calming techniques, maintaining a structured routine, or providing gentle reassurance, I am committed to ensuring that your pet remains as comfortable and relaxed as possible while you're away. Your pet’s well-being is my top priority, and I will treat them with the same care and attention I would give my own.

14. Carissa M.

“CJ is great! Great communication & care of ernabelle”

15. Lori E.

“I am so happy I found Lori and her nephew Jake. We had to fly across the country to LA recently for my sister's wedding with our 2 dachshunds. They've both had back issues and we were nervous about leaving them with someone other than family. Lori put all our worries to rest. Within a minute of meeting the dogs, she knew their personalities and predicted how they would react in situations and she was right! She really is like the Dog Whisperer and the way she introduced her dogs to ours and got them all playing together was amazing. We were in awe and completely comfortable leaving our dogs with her and Jake while we were doing pre-wedding stuff. Jake is like the Pied Piper and our little one Lokie took to him right away. On the day of the wedding, when we went to pick up the dogs and bring them and Jake to the hotel room so he could stay with them during the wedding, our older one Pinot kept crying until Jake got into the car with us. Jake was kind to the dogs and texted me pictures and updates before I even had to ask. He was also very respectful of being in our hotel room, and wasn't even going to order dinner until I insisted he order room service. I trusted him completely and he did not disappoint. I am so thankful we found Lori and Jake to make the visit to LA worry free and fun for the dogs. I only wish I could have brought them back to New York with us! ”

16. Erin L.
“If you're seeking a dependable, compassionate, and trustworthy individual to care for your beloved furry friends, look no further. Erin has been an invaluable asset whenever I’ve needed someone to care for our pets. Her dedication to providing top-notch care is evident in every interaction. Not only does Erin ensure the physical well-being of pets, she also prioritizes their emotional needs, offering companionship, love, and attention in abundance. Moreover, Erin’s genuine love for animals shines through in everything she does. It's evident that pet sitting isn't just a job but a true passion. Erin is reliable and trustworthy and we've never had to worry about the safety or well-being of our pets or home while under her care.”

17. Pamela S.

“Pamela was amazing. She took great care of Penny and was very reachable and communicative. Thanks for the pictures and all the good snuggles Penny got. Happy pup when we got home!!”

18. Megan P.

“Megan did a great job with Penny. They went on lots of walks and did some light training, had lots of snuggle time and even play time, when appropriate, with her dog Bodie. Megan stayed at the house a few days and then she came early, spent the day with Penny and went home mid-evening. I came home to a very happy and worn out pup. I would highly recommend Megan and look forward to using her in the future.”

19. Amy W.

“It’s never easy to know if the person you find to watch your pups will be great. Thankfully Amy is! She loves dogs and you can tell by the way she interacts with them and sends photos when they are doing something cute. It was reassuring to have Amy at our home with the dogs. We will ask her to watch our pups again.”

20. Christina R.
About: I've been around animals pretty much my whole life. Growing up we always had dogs of all sizes running around our house and yard. We also had cats, chickens, pigs, horses, goats, rabbits, and so many more that rotated out. The responsibility to keep all these babies fed was on me and my siblings. On a daily basis we kept their watering dish clean, food in their bellies, and tidied their living spaces to maintain an appropriate environment for them to live a happy life. I believe in giving my whole heart to all living beings as we all deserve to be happy in this beautiful world. For the past 12 years of my adult life my husband and I have had 2 fur babies of our own. Our late French bulldog spent his life taking allergy meds and eating a special limited ingredient diet. He lived a long happy 12 years until his journey ended in seizures that eventually took his life. Our late Boston Terrier was considered the healthy pup until she became a senior. Around 11 years old her organs began to fail so she spent her final months taking medications while making multiple trips to the veterinarian until it was time for her to say good bye. I am most familiar with administering medications in the pill, liquid, or topical form, but have confidence I can quickly learn how to properly dispense any meds necessary to keep your baby happy and healthy while in my care. Our pups thrived in the structured, yet fun loving environment we created for them. With consistent guidance they were both fully house trained and knew basic commands. They would even give out a quick high-five if asked to. I would love to help your little buddy become the best they can be by extending the comprehension of basic commands to them as well. Most importantly, you should know that I will watch over your loved one with the best care I can possibly give. Your baby will be treated as if they were my own and no less. I am currently unemployed and hoping to spend my days keeping your buddy happy while you conquer your busy schedule. My husband works out of town for 3 weeks and spends 3 weeks at home with me. There may be times he tags along to help with your fur baby, but for the most part I will be working alone. There may also be times my husband and I decide to hit the road and travel our beautiful country while he is home from work, but that is not often. My schedule will be updated accordingly if we decide to take any road trips. At this time I spend my days walking my neighbor's 2 energetic pups multiple times a day while she works. I also enjoy spending a couple days a week volunteering at a local rescue. My goal is to create a consistent schedule with trusting clientele that allows me to become their pet's buddy when they are not able to be there. My open schedule allows for the flexibility that suits your schedule. Please don't hesitate to contact me to see if I'm a good fit for looking after your little buddy, even if you think I'm too far away. I travel to surrounding cities often, frequently visiting Cottonwood, Sedona, and Prescott as well as many others. My husband and I currently live in a pet free RV. While our home may be small we live in a private owned park that has a fully fenced off leash dog area for your pup to get plenty of exercise. There are also nearby neighborhoods to safely walk your pup that have shade during certain times of the day. We also have a van to comfortably transport your buddy to fun hiking trails to give them a new environment to sniff and enjoy.
