About: I grew up in the Sedona/Verde Valley area with pets and working animals of many kinds, including dogs and cats. My partner and I currently have three small rescue dogs, all requiring significant care at time of adoption! Nurturing animals of all kinds is a passion of mine! I am comfortable with cats and experienced with most dog breeds, understanding each animal has their own personality and boundaries. I am currently on an intentional career hiatus, pursuing some additional education and passion projects. About: I've been caring for animals for most of my life, beginning with a family pack of German Shepherd siblings (see photo). Over the years, I've worked with dogs and cats of all sizes, ages, temperaments and personalities—including seniors, sensitive animals, pets with anxiety or special needs, and some less-typical companions. My approach is attentive and individualized. I respect the routines and training you've established while tuning in to your animal's behavior, body language and energy—learning what helps them feel safe, understood and genuinely cared for while you're away. If I do my job right, within the first few hours they're settling back into their normal beat. And when you come home, they may be delightfully underwhelmed by your return! Animal communication is a core interest in my life and work, and I'm currently completing additional training in small-animal massage and bodywork. I also offer energy work. These aren't requirements for good pet sitting, of course, but they inform my dedication to an animal's comfort and care. I'm currently in Sedona developing my animal education business and based in Southern Maine as well. I travel for select longer-term destination sits. About: Hi, my name is Kelly, and my husband, Dahl, and I will both be primary dog watchers. I work from home full-time, and he works from home part time. Our young girls, Lily and Rosie, and our nanny, Nancy, will also be interacting with your dogs on a regular basis. They are sweet, calm girls who love dogs and do very well with them. We are flexible with drop-off and pick-up times, since I work from home, so someone is here almost all of the time. We have watched many dogs for friends over the years, and this seemed like a great way to expand on that. I love dogs, and my favorite dog- sitting experience was when my neighbor needed someone to watch her puppy during the day while she worked. I picked him up in the morning and dropped him off at night. I helped train him and just loved on him all day. I was a second mom to him, and we still get very excited to see each other. I often watch him when his parents are out of town now. My husband had a dog for 9 years growing up, and also loves dogs. We are so excited to meet your fur-babies!! I work full-time from home so we will be available to care for your pets day and night. We have a fenced off backyard with an entire section dedicated to the dogs we watch. We have a fenced in backyard with a fenced in pool and often walk around our neighborhood and to the local park. We can watch dogs from multiple families at a time as long as the families approve and both dogs are good with other dogs. We do this on a case by case basis.

Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
