About: Caring for a pet means much more to me than simply feeding them and taking them for walks. I offer walks and care for both dogs and cats, whether in my home, in the pet’s home, or during walks. I work part-time, which gives me enough flexibility to dedicate time and attention to the pets in my care. When you’re away from home, I can keep your pet company, play with them, give them plenty of affection, take them for walks, and keep their routine as close as possible to what they are used to at home. I also offer daycare in my home and overnight care, depending on each pet’s needs. I want them to feel comfortable, safe, and cared for, just as they would at home, while their families are away. In my home, pets are part of the family. I have a large, fully fenced and secure yard with a small grassy area where they can go outside, play, and enjoy some fresh air. Inside the home, they have a comfortable and safe environment where they can relax and spend time with the family. I want pets to feel at home and be part of our family life, so I do not use crates as part of their daily routine. They are free to move around the safe areas of the house and yard, always taking into consideration their personality, needs, and their owner’s instructions. I have a one and a half year old Yorkie who is part of our family and is used to enjoying the house and yard freely. Of course, whenever I care for another pet, I respect their boundaries, energy level, and any special instructions provided by their family. If I care for your pet in your home, I maintain their usual routine and carefully follow your instructions regarding feeding, walks, playtime, rest, and any other needs. My goal is for your pet to feel safe, accompanied, loved, and at home while you are away.

Even with a wonderful grassy fenced-in backyard to play in, Camille also took our dog for two walks along the peaceful tree-lined neighborhood she resides in. Our dog is generally anxious in new settings but, when I came to pick him up, he was completely relaxed on the rug along with their dog, Rosie. With other Rover sitters, he usually bolts for me and the door simultaneously with a wide-eyed frenzy which I had always chalked up to his anxious personality. When my dog didn't bolt, I knew immediately that she had been especially hospitable kind and loving towards him - for him to feel so safe and look so comfortable and at home. I saw it in his manner and felt it in my gut. There is only one other Rover sitter (out of many we have tried) that has had this effect on him. My own pets thrive on routine, so your dog will get consistent walks, feeding times, and plenty of attention while you’re away. I currently share my home with a pug and an 18-year-old cat, so I’m comfortable with pets of all ages and energy levels. Pug mom + cat whisperer offering a loving, low-key place to stay I work from home, so your pet won’t be left alone for long stretches — they’ll get plenty of company, attention, and bathroom/play breaks built right into my day. Pet care isn’t an interruption to my routine, it’s part of it. Your dog will get long walks through my beautiful neighborhood, plus supervised outdoor time tethered out front alongside my pug (my yard is unfenced, so all outdoor time is supervised). I’m happy to crate your pet if you provide one, and I’ll keep them on whatever feeding and routine schedule they’re used to at home.

About: I am at home full time so I am available to always keep a close watch of your dog, take your dog outside a numerous of times. I have been sitting dogs for about 4 years now. I have experience breeding and raising chows (which is a very hard breed to raise especially for first time dog owners). There is a dog park right across the street from my home your dog would love. And around the perimeter of the dog park is a dog path. I normally walk the dogs around the dog path and then play fetch and some other games in the park. I have a gated backyard so they are allow to play back there as well. I am close to a Walgreens and across the street from a pet store so if they need anything I have easy access to that.

My family and I have a home that has plenty of space to accommodate your pet. We have an 11-year-old son and also have three small dogs of our own that are extremely friendly, playful, up-to-date with all of their shots, and in great health. I believe pets complete a home. I am extremely passionate and enthusiastic about the care and needs of all types of animals. My experience in Pet Care began from having my own pets and caring for the ones of family and friends over a span of 40 plus years. I have also fostered a few dogs over the years. I have a substantial amount of experience with cats, guinea pigs, bunnies, hamsters, turtles, fish and so many others. My goal is to ensure your comfort and confidence, knowing that your pet will be loved and cared for as if it were our own. Should your pet require any medical attention or medication I am completely capable of providing this service, while in my care. We hope you consider us. I look forward to providing a caring, efficient service for your pets. My schedule is extremely flexible, as I am recently retired. For the exception of dropping off and picking up my son from school I am home all day to provide attention and care for your pet. I have a large yard with a privacy fence and three friendly, small dogs to keep your pup company. If preferred, I can easily crate your dog if needed.
