Charise was a great sitter—she sent detailed updates about how Roman was doing with Navi and hope he was settling in while we were away. Her home is very clean and Charise is a very warm and welcoming host. Navi is just the cutest little nugget ever, and I could tell immediately Roman would feel right at home with Charise. Our big GSD is a big baby and throws a bit of a fit every time we leave, but Charise and Navi were patient with him while he warmed up to the idea of us being away—by the time we returned, he was fully integrated into their little family. Roman is allowed on the couch and bed for cuddles, and Charise has a full basement for the dogs to run around and play, a small yard, and she takes them together on long walks. Roman came home fully pooped from a week of playing with Navi and we’ll definitely be using Charise in the future!”

About: I’ve often been told I’m a bit of a “dog whisperer” because pups seem to gravitate toward me, and I think it’s because they can sense my genuine love for animals. I’ve been a dog lover since childhood, growing up with 4 family dogs, and that passion has only grown over the years. I recently cared for my own senior pomeranian, who lived to 18, so I understand the patience, gentleness, and extra attention that senior pups need. On the other end of the spectrum, I know the energy and consistency it takes to care for playful puppies. Right now, I share my home with two spoiled rescue dogs, Chico (chihuahua) and Squeaks (tripod Pomeranian) who remind me daily how much joy and comfort pets bring into our lives and family. I have taught my dogs how to sit, stay, down, shake, come, and spin. So maybe I can even teach your dog some new tricks :) I also know how stressful it can be to leave your furry family member at home. My goal is to be their bright spot while you’re away, whether that’s a walk, a potty break, or simply some kisses, belly rubs, and companionship. I’ll treat your dog like one of my own! I currently work from home and have a flexible schedule to fit in drop-ins, potty breaks, quick walks (10-15) min, kisses and belly rubs during the day while you are away! Right now I only offer drop-ins, potty breaks, and quick walks for your furry babies. I do not offer any home services at my personal residence. My family and I have a home that has plenty of space to accommodate your pet. We have an 11-year-old son and also have three small dogs of our own that are extremely friendly, playful, up-to-date with all of their shots, and in great health. I believe pets complete a home. I am extremely passionate and enthusiastic about the care and needs of all types of animals. About: I am at home full time so I am available to always keep a close watch of your dog, take your dog outside a numerous of times. I have been sitting dogs for about 4 years now. I have experience breeding and raising chows (which is a very hard breed to raise especially for first time dog owners). There is a dog park right across the street from my home your dog would love. And around the perimeter of the dog park is a dog path. I normally walk the dogs around the dog path and then play fetch and some other games in the park. I have a gated backyard so they are allow to play back there as well. I am close to a Walgreens and across the street from a pet store so if they need anything I have easy access to that.

Hillary is calm and flexible with her time if I need to deviate from our set schedule. She just loves Charlie and he loves her right back. Her home is very clean and Charise is a very warm and welcoming host. Navi is just the cutest little nugget ever, and I could tell immediately Roman would feel right at home with Charise. Our big GSD is a big baby and throws a bit of a fit every time we leave, but Charise and Navi were patient with him while he warmed up to the idea of us being away—by the time we returned, he was fully integrated into their little family. Roman is allowed on the couch and bed for cuddles, and Charise has a full basement for the dogs to run around and play, a small yard, and she takes them together on long walks. Roman came home fully pooped from a week of playing with Navi and we’ll definitely be using Charise in the future!”

About: We are Mandy and Travis! Literally our first conversation was about our dogs. Our love for our pets runs deep, both of us having grown up with dogs our whole lives. We’ve trained puppies and cared for our beloved 15 year-old, three-legged senior Golden until he passed a year ago. We’re comfortable with all ages and stages in between. While our hearts belong to big fluffy puppers, we’ll love on your sweet baby no matter the size. We have a crate so you don’t need to bring yours unless your dog prefers theirs so they feel safe. Between the two of us, we work from home most days of the week. If I am at the office, I work 5 minutes from home and can easily stop home for potty and play breaks. We have a fenced yard and when the weather is nice, our back door is a magnetic screen so the dogs can let themselves in and out. We live close to Kilbourn Park and often take our fur babies for walks there.
