Dog who like walks will love me
I have been a professional full time pet sitter and walker for 5 years. I love pets and going for walks. I love being busy. I adopted my dog Freda from a customer. She is very smart and protective. Also if you bring dog toys to my house, consider it a donation. Freda is like a tsa agent. She will search your dog's bags, find and confiscate all dog toys.

We’ve booked Rob several times in the past 3 years. The dogs and I are so glad that he is always available for us. He is so flexible when it comes to last minute bookings. I’m impressed with how many dogs he can handle and love getting videos of the dogs. Thanks Rob!

Great sitter, my dogs love Rob. I can always count on Rob to watch my dogs at the last minute. I highly recommend Rob

Always appreciate the care that Rob provides.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this sitter after what happened during my dog Shiloh’s second stay. I arrived for drop-off around 6:55 PM and discovered that Rob was not there. I had not been informed beforehand that he had already left the property or that he would not be returning until approximately 10 PM, despite him asking me earlier that evening if I could bring Shiloh sooner. His girlfriend, whom I had never met, arrived and handled the drop-off instead. I asked to see where Shiloh would be staying because this was supposed to be a two-night stay. When I went inside, the other dogs were crated or separated behind a door, and I was not given a clear, designated area where Shiloh would be kept. During the drop-off, two dogs also got out of their crate and approached Shiloh. Although they did not harm him, Shiloh was visibly uncomfortable and shaking. Because I did not feel comfortable with the handoff or understand where he would be staying, I remained outside the property instead of leaving. Shortly after the drop-off, Rob’s girlfriend left the property as well. I repeatedly messaged Rob through Rover, called him, left a voicemail, and rang the doorbell, but could not reach him or anyone inside. I specifically asked where he was, who was with Shiloh, and where Shiloh would be staying. I received no response for over an hour. When Rob eventually responded, he informed me that he had left around 6:45 PM and would not be home until approximately 10 PM. None of this had been communicated to me before I handed over my dog. When I expressed my concerns and requested Shiloh back, Rob referenced the fact that I had booked the stay the previous night. However, he had accepted and confirmed the booking and had even asked me to arrive earlier. If the short notice did not work with his plans, I would have completely understood if he had declined the booking. I ultimately had to contact Rover Support and request assistance retrieving my dog. I remained outside the property the entire time. After more than two hours, Rob’s father arrived around 9:23 PM to return Shiloh. He had to ask me what kind of dog Shiloh was and what color his leash was in order to identify which dog and belongings he was retrieving. There were additional concerns when Shiloh’s belongings were returned. At drop-off, Rob’s girlfriend specifically asked whether Shiloh needed dinner, and I told her yes. I had packed six individually labeled Ziploc bags of food, including an extra meal. When Shiloh was returned to me, all six food bags were still in his bag. His brand-new food/water bowl was also returned completely dry. While inside the home during drop-off, I had not observed accessible food or water bowls in the areas where the dogs were being kept. When Shiloh was finally returned to me, he immediately jumped on me, was breathing heavily and whimpering. I was extremely relieved to have him back. I understand that sitters have personal lives and may occasionally need to step away. My issue is not that Rob had somewhere to be, nor is my issue with his girlfriend or father. My issue is the complete lack of communication, transparency, organization, and reassurance surrounding the care of my dog. I should never have had to sit outside a sitter’s home for more than two hours, involve Rover Support, and repeatedly request access to my own dog. This experience completely destroyed my trust and made me extremely uncomfortable with the care Shiloh received. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this sitter.

Thank you Rob for taking care my best friend . I know it was in a last minute appointment, my bad. Thank you for your good disposition. I will hire you again next week

Zoey had a great time with Rob! She did manage to bite through her leash, but Rob promptly replaced it. I really appreciated all the videos he sent me throughout her 11-night stay—it was so reassuring and fun to see how much she was enjoying herself. I would absolutely rebook with Rob and highly recommend him!

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
Important Safety & Care Requirement: For every booking, I require all pet profiles to include complete veterinary information. Owners must also provide a local emergency contact who is listed with their vet clinic as an authorized decision-maker/owner. This emergency contact must not be traveling with you and must stay local so they can be reached to provide necessary information for the vet in the case of an emergency, or pick up your pet if an urgent situation arises. I have a fully double fenced yard that the dogs can play around in, along with a garage where I spend much time with them. My yard has some grass surrounding the perimeter of the yard and a small garden growing vegetables. I have fenced off all the grass and the garden from the dogs so the grass and garden can grow and be healthy. Dogs urine will kill grass. The ground in my backyard is concrete. I clean my backyard several times a week by scrubbing the concrete with soap, rinsing with water, and I spray dog safe sanitizing enzymes to kill any bacteria remaining. I also walk the dogs once or twice a day, if the weather permits.
