“Super easy to book with and showed up promptly and took the best pics. Thanks for the last minute drop in and communication. Definitely recommend hiring her to care for your fur babies.”

“Latisha was great with Munchkin. She was able to bond quickly during our setup visit. Munchkin was considerably less distressed when we arrived home after our trip. I've had other Rover sitters who weren't familiar with cats and were not very good with Munchkin. Latisha is definitely good with cats!”

“Our kitty boys and dog love Rachel! We could not trust her more to take care of them while we are gone. Rachel’s so communicative and sweet. There is no one better to take care of your animals!”

“Kevin was prompt and friendly and took fantastic care of my pup with very short notice. He even provided pictures and videos. Loved it. Will definitely call upon him for all of my check in and walking needs. Thanks Kevin!”

About: I’ve always loved being around animals and have helped care for pets belonging to friends and family. I’m responsible, detail-oriented, and genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs — whether that’s going on walks, playing fetch, or just giving them company and attention while you’re away. Pet parents can count on me to follow instructions carefully, keep their pets safe and happy, and communicate regularly with updates and photos. I may be new to this, but I take the trust you place in me seriously and will treat your pet like family. I’m excited to meet your furry friend! I work from home, which means your pup will get plenty of attention throughout the day! With a flexible schedule, I can easily accommodate walks, playtime, feedings, and plenty of company. I’m happy to provide consistent care and companionship on weekdays, weekends, or whenever you need. I take safety seriously and always aim to create a calm, pet-friendly environment. Your dog’s comfort and happiness are my top priorities, whether they’re with me or in their own home. I’m happy to follow any routines—crate training, feeding, or medication schedules—to make sure everything feels familiar and stress-free for them.

“Pauline was great!! I reached out last minute and Pauline was there to help me out. I really appreciate how kind and quickly you were to help me out. Pauline assured me Fitz was in good hands!! Thank you so much!! I was able to enjoy the rest of my evening and know that Fitz had his potty break and got some love and affection. ??”

About: I’ve always had a deep love for animals. Growing up with dogs, volunteering at animal shelters, fostering puppies and kittens, and pet sitting for friends and family has given me years of hands-on experience. I treat every animal in my care as if they were my own— with love, patience, and attention to their individual needs. I work remotely, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to be hands-on and attentive throughout the day. I take long walks every morning and evening and love to have a companion by my side! When looking after your pet I focus on creating a safe, comfortable, and familiar environment. I stick to their usual routines as closely as possible (feeding times, walks, play, and rest) so they feel secure and at ease. I offer plenty of attention, enrichment, and affection, while also respecting any training or boundaries the owner has in place.

About: My love for dogs started early—our family Irish Setter was my childhood best friend, and I’ve never forgotten the joy and loyalty he brought into my life. Since then, dogs have always been part of my world. I’ve had my Shih Tzu, Obie, since I was 20 years old, and he's been by my side through every chapter of life. We’ve done it all together—cross-country road trips, NYC subways, the Long Island Railroad, and countless flights. I always joke that Obie has flown more than most of my friends! That experience has made me an expert in keeping dogs calm, safe, and happy while on the go. I’m especially comfortable with senior dogs and know how to be extra gentle, patient, and attentive to their unique needs—whether that means slow walks, medications, or just lots of cozy downtime. I treat every pup like family and understand how important it is to have someone you trust caring for your furry best friend. I’m a special education teacher heading into summer break, which means I’ll have LOTS of time and flexibility to care for your pup! Whether it's long walks, playtime, or just keeping your dog company while you're away, I’m excited to give them all the attention and care they deserve. 🐾☀️ Although we don’t have a yard, we’re just a short walk from Pioneer Park, which makes for great daily outings. I’m also happy to take dogs to Dog Beach if they enjoy the sand and surf! In my home, pets are treated like family—furniture is fair game for snuggles, and they’ll get lots of love and attention (especially from my playful 6-year-old, who adores animals). Your pup will be safe, comfy, and never bored!

About: I’ve been a dog and cat owner my whole life - and I would LOVE to spend time with your pets! I’m 25, from Seattle and I’ve lived in San Diego for over a year now. I love to hit the beach, the gym, surf, run, hike, be outdoors, meet new people and spend time with animals. I love long walks on the beach (who doesn’t?!). I’m marathon training right now, if you have any active pups who’d like to join please send them my way! I’d love to spend some quality time with your pets 🩷 I had a consistent client (see pics 2-3) Gunner, who I walked 2-3 times a week for a few months this past winter. He’s a senior hunting dog with LOTS of energy, which showed me I can handle a strong dog who pulls on their leash. Looking for new clients closer to my new home in PB! Currently, my household has two cats and a tiny pup that I adore spending time with. I’d really love to take care of more dogs/cats as I’m missing my childhood pets who are a thousand miles away! I’m a flight attendant, so my schedule isn’t always consistent. This means I can fulfill last minute requests for pet care, and I have my days off/availability at least a month ahead of time! As for pets in my own home, my roommate has two cats and a dog that I give constant pets, love and attention to. I grew up taking my dog for daily walks and nightly zoomies play time. I am happy to accommodate any requests you might have to ensure your pet gets the best care possible!

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life. Our dogs were always a member of our family and the love I developed for dogs only grew over the years. Dogs are really angels on earth and I cannot imagine my life without them. Once my husband Matt and I started living together we decided we needed to care for our own doggo and we adopted Isabella as a puppy. I’ve always dreamed to have a golden retriever, because I love their energy and happiness. Isabella is 6 years old and she is truly our baby daughter. While we are not ready to have another dog yet, we love watching our friend’s pets when they go on vacation or need to travel. So we decided to make our passion for dogs a formal gig and provide our fellow dog parents a piece of mind when they need to leave their fur babies for a few days. We are accommodating of your needs as we understand how difficult it is to have to trust other people to take care of our babies. My husband and I both work full time from home so there will be one of us around pretty much all the time. We are both home on the weekends. When we go outdoors we love taking Isabella with us so we would take your dog as well if you allow. We live in a townhome and your dog would be free to be around the house as they please. We can take them for potty breaks as often as needed. We love going on walks with Isabella and we would be happy to take your doggo with us. We also love going to the dog beach and dog park (and we are happy to follow your instructions to keep them safe and sound!) While we don’t have a yard, there is a dog area right next to our house. We also have a dog park in our complex.

About: Aloha! I grew up with dogs and love being around them. We don’t currently live in a place where we can have a dog, so we thought to find a way to get some dog time! This will also be a great opportunity to have my kids interact with dogs. They are very excited to accompany me on walks! They are very gentle and loving children. We love next to Liberty Station in a very dog friendly neighborhood. This is our first time on Rover, so we are figuring that out with our work and school schedules just starting up again. Weekends and holidays work. Weekdays may work, depending on location. I have a small fenced yard in a dog-friendly neighborhood. It is shaded with good air flow and easy access to water. The neighborhood is very walkable near Liberty Station.

“Claudia was so sweet with our puppy Henry, who is only 4 months so needs a close eye and lots of attention. She was communicative, thorough, and sent lots of photos. She even stepped in last minute to help in a crunch. Thanks so much Claudia!!!”

Tyler A.
“I have known Tyler for many years. Yes of course he is reliable, trustworthy, prompt, hard working and all the things you want when you hire a worker. But more than that, when you entrust your dog - a member of your family - to the care of someone you don't know, you want to make sure you have chosen the right person. Well that person is Tyler. He is what you would call a dog whisperer. He just has a way with dogs. He loves them and they love him! He has 3 of his own that he cares for every day including walking, washing, cleaning up after, playing with them and giving them lots and lots of love!! He keeps them safe and happy and he will do that for your dogs too!!”

Kasey R.
“Kasey has been our go-to cat sitter for years now! She says her speciality is dogs but my 2 cats took an instant liking to her. I feel really confident going out of town when Kasey is scheduled to check in on them, She stops by 1-2x a day (2x when Fig was just a kitten) and sends so many pictures and videos of her hanging with them. She is on top of their food, water, scoops and takes out the liter, and plays or gives them snuggles. I love how much she spoils them and I swear they know when Kasey is coming to be their sitter based on how excited they get to see our suitcases come out of storage.”

Karla H.
“Karla is a superstar when it comes to dogs, especially elderly and special needs. She will talk to your pup like family and make sure they are well loved so that you can have peace of mind when you are away.”

Isa is wonderful! I’ve used her before through other services, and she’s always been amazing with my dog, Maggie. She’s reliable, caring, and truly goes above and beyond to make sure Maggie is happy and comfortable. It gives me such peace of mind knowing she’s in Isa’s hands. Highly recommend!

Julia did drop-in visits on my dog over a short weekend. From the moment we met, she was very nice, calm, and attentive to Teddy’s needs. She sent pictures & updates and took great care of Teddy. She was prompt and communicative. I am very glad I found her and will definitely feel confident and comfortable leaving Teddy in her care again.

Rachel was amazing! I dropped off my dog, Cali, at her house and picked up a happy, well-loved pup. She sent regular updates and adorable photos, and I could tell Cali was comfortable and cared for the whole time. Highly recommend Rachel for anyone looking for a trustworthy and loving sitter!

Nancy came and checked on our cats for a couple days while we were out of town. She followed the instructions carefully and spent plenty of time playing with and giving them love. She also sent plenty of pictures which was much appreciated! I highly recommend her to watch your pets 😊

Lilly was absolutely wonderful! She was incredibly friendly and took the time to visit our home and get to know our cat before the booking. She was very attentive, gentle, and made sure our cat felt safe and comfortable. We really appreciated her thoughtful updates.

Kaylee is the absolute best cat sitter!!!!! First time leaving my two cats and after meeting her I knew she was the perfect fit for my boys. She took the absolute best care of them as if they were her own. I’m sure Indigo and Bear will miss seeing her. Even my very skittish kitty Bear warmed up to her quickly.

I had a great experience with Deidre! They were able to accommodate two drop-in visits on fairly short notice and even made time for a meet & greet beforehand. Very communicative throughout and sent the sweetest photo updates. I felt totally at ease knowing my pet was in such caring hands. Highly recommend!

Sarah was absolutely wonderful with our cat, Dexter! She was very attentive, kept us updated with amazing videos, and made sure Dexter had plenty of playtime and attention. It was clear she genuinely cared about him, and that gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. We will definitely be booking with her again in the future!
