About: My husband and I absolutely love animals. We do not have any of our own pets yet, however we have been around animals and also taking care of animals for several years now. Dog walking, cat caring (brushing/cleaning litter boxs/nail trimming etc). We have references to provide, if requested. Please don’t hesitate to ask! We want to ensure you feel most comfortable. We provide overnight stays (specialize in long term stays i.e 2 weeks+), regular photo updates, and can handle medications, houseplants, and mail with care and professionalism. We're both government employees; I (Sarah) work fully remote as a contractor, giving us flexibility and responsiveness throughout the day and to accommodate your needs. We're currently saving up to buy our first home, and doing what we love—caring for animals—helps us get there! This was my first time using Rover. Tara housesat for me over 4 days. She came over to meet my Amstaff, Zoey, before booking. I really appreciated that time to get to know Tara a little, since I have never left Zoey with someone I don't know—and she is a 12-year-old dog that needs to go out to pee often. Throughout the stay, she sent photos and thoughtful updates, which was comforting to see/know that Zoey was in good hands. I came home to a happy dog and the house was left clean and tidy. I absolutely trust Tara with Zoey and my home—and will definitely book with her again!
