“Sush took under her care my dog when my initial booking didn’t work out on a short notice but I believe that it was the best thing that could have happened. Sush and her family took excellent care of my Bolt. I was getting regular updates and most importantly Bolt seemed happy and enjoying his time with Sush on all the pictures. She also has a fenced yard which was perfect for my dog. I can genuinely tell that Sush and her family care about animals and treat their as their own. Bolt was very happy at the end, he even got a Christmas gift and was well taken care of upon pickup which made an even greater impression. About: My interest in dogs started 5 years when I became a dog musher in the winters! Then I signed up as a weekly volunteer with my local dog shelter. She has a nice home where she can separate large dogs from small dogs, and she makes her home an environment where dogs can easily coexist (no toys lying around for Tilly to take and guard). She gave Tilly lots of water and plenty of potty breaks, even in the rain. She took lots of pictures, and she gave me a report card for the visit (thankfully Tilly was well behaved the whole time). About: I've pet sit for my friends dogs and have raised a corgi puppy from 10 weeks old! I love dogs and will treat yours like mine. I have a playful and friendly corgi who plays well with all dogs. Plus I give excellent scratches. I will send a bunch of photos, as long as you don’t mind me spamming you with them! We do at least 3 walks a day, dog parks after work, and fun adventures on the weekends. Normally we eat breakfast around 8:30, go for a potty walk, and play. During the weekday, I take them out every 4 hours and do mental puzzles at home. If the weather is nice, we will go to a nearby dog park. On weekends, we tend to go out for outdoor adventures if the weather is nice I live in an apartment with ample walking nearby. Super dog friendly neighborhood. We have space to set up crates if needed. I am a neat person and will clean up after myself and the dogs.

About: I’ve recently opened my schedule back up to new clients! I’ve had quite a few repeat clients that I’ve worked with for a a while but, have now a few have moved away so, I’d love to meet some new furbabies! I’ve taken care of dogs/cats of all kinds since I can remember. Being the one to rely on when loved ones or friends are in need of attentive care for their four legged family member:) I currently work a remote 9-5, so I can take time to take care of pets as needed throughout my work day as long as I allocate my time correctly! Then have the rest of the day to spend more thoroughly with the pups and cats:) I live in an apartment that has it’s own dog park and a baseball field that is walking distance! (I call even the big ones pups), to have space to run and have fun! If I go to a clients home I make sure to be outside with the dogs and have some play time with them apart from just walks.

About: I’m a pre-vet student who just graduated from UVA and has grown up with two large dogs! I’ve also recently owned a hamster from a college lab! I have a lot of experience dog and cat sitting for friends and family including puppies, kittens, and senior dogs and cats. I also have about 100 hours of dog walking experience from a shelter so I am comfortable with reactive/fearful/energetic dogs, and another 100 from shadowing at a vet practice. I’m so happy he gets a happy easy-going doggy friend in Khali, and experience with Pursey the cat. It’s so nice knowing that he is so beautifully cared for. Jennifer was extra kind this time, giving him medicine and more walks since he couldn’t run around her spacious front yard due to a healing injury. We love getting updates and adorable pictures throughout his time there. I’m not sure Harley really wanted to leave!”

“Michael did a great job with my little rescue Yorkie, Gracie. He sent pictures and updates on how she was doing and was very communicative throughout the process. Gracie is a velcro dog who is very shy and anxious around new people and dogs. She seemed to acclimate to Michael and his daughter quickly which I could tell in the pictures. She had been very content and happy once since I picked her up. Will definitely be boarding Gracie with him again in the future.”
