About: Hi, I'm Jess! I’ve been an avid animal lover my whole life. I have extensive experience with dogs, cats, rodents, reptiles, rabbits, and aquariums. I have fostered for shelters and had the unique opportunity to help animals find their families. I care deeply about the work I do, as simple as it may seem. What you need might not fit the typical "walk" or "drop in" package but whatever it is, I am here to be your assistant and your pet's favorite nanny. I am currently accepting one or two more clients that I can work with long-term. While I have multiple clients that I work with every week, I strive to keep my schedule very open and forgiving. Because of that, I am confident that I can be a relaible source for you to turn to when life isn't so easy to schedule. Last minute bookings, changes, and requests are all okay with me! I am available Monday-Friday and accept the occasional weekend booking. The only day that I am notably unavailable is Sundays as I usually travel out of town to visit family. I truly care about the work I am doing and I will truly care about you and your pets. If you think I might be right for you, don't hesitate to reach out! We can work together to see if I would be a good fit for you and your pet. I keep a separate, meticulously updated calendar just for my clients and I take notes on each pet. Thanks to my background in healthcare I can take human concepts and apply them to your baby, understanding behavioral and psychosocial needs including in positive reinforcement and operant conditioning. In my military training as a medic I have become competent in casualty care for military K-9s and this transfers well to making sure your pet is in the right hands! Avid fitness trainer, I aim to get your dog or cat on the walk they need during your work day! A friendly face goes a long way for a long day. I’m currently a part time LPN for work and student at DMACC for Nursing. In my free time I love to train and play with my kitties and I’m looking to help you and your pet enjoy yours’. Outside of nursing I’ve been a service member in the Iowa National Guard since high school, this is where I began my career in healthcare. I want to give your dog and cat a walk or visit they need! I’d be happy to hang out and help play with your cat or dog as well! I do not believe in laser lights or electronic toys as I believe these create anxiety/oc disorder traits within our pets, and thus intend to engage in real connection with your pet.

About: I am a registered veterinary technician, working in the veterinary field for more than 10 years! I’m comfortable with all breeds, sizes, and have a strong background with pets who have mobility concerns. I will ensure your pets will be safe, happy, and well taken care of! From potty breaks, to walks, to multiple daily visits, to overnight stays! In addition, I’m comfortable with pets who require medication or injections. Feel free to call or text me for your pets needs! I have the capability of doing mid-day visits over my lunch breaks, along with visits before and after work! My weekends are free and I work 3 1/2 days during the week. When caring for pets in their home, I focus on keeping their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I follow all client instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, medications, walks, and playtime preferences. I make sure pets get plenty of attention, love, and enrichment, while also keeping their space tidy and comfortable. With my background as a veterinary technician, I’m confident handling pets with special needs or administering medications safely. I also send regular updates and photos so owners can relax knowing their pets are happy and cared for.

About: I’ve been taking care of pets my whole life, growing up I was always the one to help with all the animals. Started with the neighbors dogs, then I would ride my bike to a house in the neighborhood and look after their two dogs. Now I regularly cat sit for a coworker and am the go to whenever anyone needs help with pets. I have lots of experience with senior dogs, but am willing and able to take care of all ages and sizes. My job schedule is not the most consistent, but typically 9-5 on weekdays, but sometimes I’ll be done earlier or have a long break in the middle, but I always have lunch and I would be able to go back for a potty break then. And weekends are always different, but I would be gone for shorter periods of time. Walks would be in the evening during the week and then we could work out a time in the morning or evening on the weekends. More than happy to keep your baby company if you are out of town and take care of whatever they need. I’m also willing to stay over and house sit if that is needed, but can also just do visits if that’s preferred. If you’re in town, but in a busy phase of life I would be able to take your dog on long walks, do enrichment activities, or take them to a dog park.
