About: Hi, I'm Jess! I’ve been an avid animal lover my whole life. I have extensive experience with dogs, cats, rodents, reptiles, rabbits, and aquariums. I have fostered for shelters and had the unique opportunity to help animals find their families. I care deeply about the work I do, as simple as it may seem. What you need might not fit the typical "walk" or "drop in" package but whatever it is, I am here to be your assistant and your pet's favorite nanny. I am currently accepting one or two more clients that I can work with long-term. While I have multiple clients that I work with every week, I strive to keep my schedule very open and forgiving. Because of that, I am confident that I can be a relaible source for you to turn to when life isn't so easy to schedule. Last minute bookings, changes, and requests are all okay with me! I am available Monday-Friday and accept the occasional weekend booking. The only day that I am notably unavailable is Sundays as I usually travel out of town to visit family. I truly care about the work I am doing and I will truly care about you and your pets. If you think I might be right for you, don't hesitate to reach out! We can work together to see if I would be a good fit for you and your pet. I keep a separate, meticulously updated calendar just for my clients and I take notes on each pet. About: Would love to drop in or walk your pet in my free time to allow you more free time together! I’m a cat lover at heart and I clicker train my own kitties. Thanks to my background in healthcare I can take human concepts and apply them to your baby, understanding behavioral and psychosocial needs including in positive reinforcement and operant conditioning. In my military training as a medic I have become competent in casualty care for military K-9s and this transfers well to making sure your pet is in the right hands! Avid fitness trainer, I aim to get your dog or cat on the walk they need during your work day! A friendly face goes a long way for a long day. I’m currently a part time LPN for work and student at DMACC for Nursing. In my free time I love to train and play with my kitties and I’m looking to help you and your pet enjoy yours’. Outside of nursing I’ve been a service member in the Iowa National Guard since high school, this is where I began my career in healthcare. I want to give your dog and cat a walk or visit they need! I’d be happy to hang out and help play with your cat or dog as well! I do not believe in laser lights or electronic toys as I believe these create anxiety/oc disorder traits within our pets, and thus intend to engage in real connection with your pet.
