'Tis a tad lengthy, I know; after many years of experience I have found that including these things up front (and trying to be as transparent as possible!) may help you expedite your search and decide if I am the right fit for you and your pets! I am happy to answer any questions or clarify any confusion, as well. Thank you again! Allow me and your beloved pet/s to keep each other company! I've sat for numerous friends, family members, and Rover clients over the years, and have been around many kinds of animals since birth. I have compassion for animals and will care for yours as though they are my own. I have experience walking, playing, feeding & watering pets. I have cared for animals requiring special diets, special care, medications including injections, blind, deaf, diabetic pets, and more. I've worked with dogs in training classes, so if you are currently training your pet I will continue with the training in your absence. When you have to be away from your pet, I'm your person! ✓I'm happy to travel; MnGs within 14 miles of where I'm staying are NO CHARGE! MnGs with addresses 15+ miles from my location require compensation [CASH UPON ARRIVAL; NON-REFUNDABLE]. The specific amount depends on your address, and we can come to an appropriate amount together! This is implemented to cover gas usage & travel time, as well as the risk of the MnG not leading to a confirmed booking. ✓I absolutely require a MnG for ALL ADULT DOGS! I perform one MnG per household. If pet owners would like for me to meet with them/their pets more than that initial MnG (before our actual booking or house stay), those visits will be charged at my current drop-in or dog-walking rates. I don't require MnGs for stays involving just cats, unless that is something you desire! ✓Please be sure to disclose up front [in the message with your booking request] if your cat is currently requiring injections &/or oral medications requiring physical handling! ✓The MnG would be the time for pet owners to hand off to me a key or garage opener, to gain access to your home during the actual stay. If you aren't ready to do this exchange during the MnG (or don't have a door/garage code, or aren't comfortable hiding a key somewhere the day the stay starts), I ask that you please make the trip to me before the stay begins. If you would rather I make a second trip to you, I can absolutely do that for the same charge as whatever my current drop-in fee is (if your address is within 14mi of mine)! ✓Any arrival or departure times on my end (to or from your home at the beginning and/or end of the stay, & requested by you) that fall within the window of 9pm-8am will require a $20 fee [CASH UPON ARRIVAL; NON-REFUNDABLE]; akin to third shift differential pay. ✓Any service I provide is provided with the explicit understanding that -for my protection and more- I will be the only person in the home for the duration of my time there (outside of the MnGs, of course). ✓Further compensation for special needs pets/ quirks/risks/aggression/medication administration/etc. may be assessed, but generally NOT! This depends on the extra attention and cares needed and subsequently provided by me, and will be modified in the final price only after discussing with you! ✓House sitting (overnights) consisting of only cat/s will be booked at the same price as overnight dog care. If the cat/s are IN ADDITION to dog/s, the cats will fall under the regular cat charges listed under my house sitting services. ✓Please leave a PHYSICAL copy of instructions -somewhere easy to find, such as on the countertop- that includes food amounts and times, veterinarian information, contact numbers, special instructions, etc. I look after many pets that have differing needs, and it can sometimes be hard to remember specifics for each pet; I want to ensure your sweet guys and gals are getting the best care from me! ✓Rates are subject to change throughout the year! ✓REVIEWS &/OR TIPS for services that you are pleased with are highly encouraged and especially appreciated!
