“Cory is matter-of-fact, flexible, and a good energy for our hyper lab mix. We were able to schedule an additional walk during our vacation which we really appreciated. We received updates each time he stopped by. Big fan!”

“Our corgi Millie loves when Molly comes to let her out! I always know Millie will be well taken care or. Molly is extremely accommodating to schedule changes and when we were out of town and was locked out of the house was willing to still come back and let Millie out!”

“Nila loved going on a walk with Alexandra and was so happy afterwards! She was flexible even with our last minute request, great at communicating, and understood the differences in dog personalities and how to work with that. Definitely would recommend her!”

About: Hi, I’m Carly! I’ve always loved animals and understand how important it is to know they’re safe and comfortable while you’re away. Whether you need drop-in visits, overnight care, or house sitting, I’ll make sure your pets are happy, loved, and your home is well cared for. I’m responsible, communicative, and keep things clean and cozy while you’re gone. My schedule changes a bit week to week, so feel free to message me. I’m happy to find a time that works for both of us! I always make sure pets feel safe and comfortable in their own space. I follow each owner’s routine closely, give plenty of attention, and keep things clean and calm while you’re away.
“Jessica was great! She took time out of her night to come visit Koda the night before she walked him and see how they did with each other! She was also a great walker and was willing to just hang out with him outside of his kennel and play with his toys! We will definitely be going back to Jessica again!”

“I cannot recommend Kassy enough. My dog Roo is very shy and it takes a few extra steps for him to feel comfortable with someone. I am so thankful for her patience with Roo. She truly cares about him as if he were her own and for that, I am so grateful.”

“Drew is wonderful!! So accommodating with my schedule, where my dog will be day-to-day, and super sweet with Yukon! Responsive, responsible, and friendly. Highly recommend!!”

About: I have had a pet my entire life. Dogs, cats, and even a bearded dragon once! I take care of my family’s pets when they need care as well. I work partially from home and sometimes leave for a couple hours to run to meetings during the week. But the majority of my time I am at home. I have a little dog and two cats. We are a pet loving household and treat pets like members of the family. We go for walks, have a nice backyard (no fence), and lots of toys to play with!

I live in a townhome near a river with lots of grass and trails to walk. I can also crate if needed for the dog..

About: I’m new to the Des Moines area but I walked dogs and pet sat 8 families/pets for 5 years in Rockford, Illinois. I love animals. I am deeply concerned about safety and wellbeing of all animals which makes me an awesome candidate to watch your pets! Currently, I’m an editor and writer. I’m going to law school and I’m looking for the flexibility Rover provides. I’m currently working part time which gives me the luxury of having lots of quality time with your pets! Once I have enough pets to watch, I would love to do this full-time. If you let me know in advance, I can make just about anything work! I have always grown up with pets. Currently, I have a Blue-Tick Coonhound mix(Willie) and an Australian Cattle Dog(Clay). Clay is a highly active and reactive dog, while Willie has had health problems. I’m well versed in pet behavior and analyzing their reactions to ensure a healthy and happy pet!

About: Animals should be treated like the family they are. I have a full acre with multiple secure fences for your animals to play around in. Any animal that loves being pet will get a lot of attention! They deserve to be treated with love and respect because they are apart of your family and are very important. I am a stay at home mom and that gives me a lot of flexibility with timing and scheduling. I am a stay at home mom so I have time to play with your dog and relax with them. They will be outside for a good part of the day with me as long as they want to be. There is plenty of shade as well as water available. There are two fences in place so your dog is really secure. There will always be water available as well as shade. If the weather is bad, or they prefer to be inside most of the day, the downstairs has enough room to run around a bit and is comfortable with a bed and water for them.
About: I’ve been around animals my whole life, of all shapes and sizes. I love all animals. I’ve grown up with working dogs, big dogs, feral cats, farm animals, and everything in between. I am always willing to go for midday lunch walks (in the Ankeny/Polk City area) or weekend check ins in the metro, while you are out and about being social. My husband works blue collar, so sometimes I have a lot of time to myself while he’s working, I’d love to fill in with walks at night or weekends in the Highland Park/Saylor/Beaverdale areas. Some nights he may even join if he’s home. I am always very cautious when going in for my furry friends for walks, making sure they are safe. I’m full of love and attention and energy to burn so I’d love a buddy. I’ve worked with highly trained dogs, and will honor any and all training your dogs follows.
“Arlo gave her some trouble but she was so patient and understanding. She definitely knows her stuff. And you can tell she loves animals! Thank you for being so attentive and reassuring us through everything! And tons of pics!”
