About: I have had dogs for most of my life. I take care of friends' and families' sometimes, and figured Rover would be a good place to do more of it. I am allergic to cats, so I am not available to house sit if cats are present (drop-ins and walks OK if the dog and I can stay outside) I have a wide range of availability. I will keep my schedule updated. I live downtown and am generally looking to stay within a a few miles of downtown and east village. I can follow any special instructions regarding feeding, medications, etc. If you would like a house sitter, I will follow any rules regarding your residence.

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life, of all shapes and sizes. I love all animals. I’ve grown up with working dogs, big dogs, feral cats, farm animals, and everything in between. I am always willing to go for midday lunch walks or weekend check ins while you are out and about being social (in the Ankeny/Polk City area). My husband works blue collar, so sometimes I have a lot of time to myself while he’s working, I’d love to fill in with walks at night or weekends in the Highland Park/Saylor/Beaverdale areas. Some nights he may even join if he’s home. I am always very cautious when going in for my furry friends for walks, making sure they are safe. I’m full of love and attention and energy to burn so I’d love a buddy. I’ve worked with highly trained dogs, and will honor any and all training your dogs follows.

I'm currently living at home after high-school and am unemployed. I used to work at a dog and cat daycare and boarding facility, but decided I wanted to make my own schedule. I'm not very social besides with animals so my schedule is open and flexible. I own 2 cats and a dog so I'm unable to board or pet sit at my own house, but I can travel to your house and look after your furry friend in an environment I'm sure they're more comfortable in anyway.

About: I grew up always having cats and being a total cat lady, however after bringing home my first dog ever I realized how much I absolutely love and adore dogs! I have experience with having a dog of my own (sadly he went on to the rainbow bridge), plus caring for my sisters dog who I jokingly say is my part time dog. I also have experience with all the dogs I’ve gotten to meet through Rover. I would love to have a dog of my own again but I don’t have the proper time or space to have one right now, so I’m looking to get my fix by spending time with your dog! I’m currently available any time of day or night during the week and weekends! Im very attentive to your pets needs and making sure they are comfortable this includes lots of outdoor time with nice walks, and giving them lots of love and attention(not to mention treats!). :) I’m currently taking a little work hiatus so I am available anytime of day or night during the week and weekends to help care for your fur babies! I live in an apartment with 2 cats so any pets that stay with me need to be familiar and friendly with cats. I do have a spare bedroom that I can use for separation purposes however prefer to be familiar and good around cats if I will be watching in my home. If house sitting I will be available to stay in your home and will send lots of pictures and updates along the way.

I have about twenty years of experience of being a pet parent and of course, making them my number one priority. Recently, I’ve had to go through the terrible experience of pet loss and I really miss all of the joy our furry friends bring to us. I now have a pet free home and would love the opportunity to take care of your loved one. I feel comfortable with puppies, small to large breeds and senior dogs/dispensing any medications. If you have any questions just send me a message. . I work Monday through Thursday 8-5, Friday 11-7 with the availability to come home during lunch for a dog walk. Weekends are very flexible and I can accommodate most requests. I can accommodate your feeding schedule, potty breaks and any medication dispensing. I do allow pets on my furniture and in my bed. I will also send at least one update a day during your pet’s stay.

About: We lost our beloved dog "Chester" in 2022 and our home has felt empty ever since. Both my husband & I have grown up with dogs & we loved playing, walking and cuddling w/Chester. The unconditional love he provided to our family was priceless. My husband & I are empty nesters as of last fall, 2023 & we are available to care and watch your dog on a weekday or weekend.. Your dog will be loved in our home as much as it is in your home. We will thoroughly enjoy spoiling it like it is our own pet! We live downtown Des Moines & will be able to walk your dog regularly to near by parks/Grays Lake. I like to know what the sleep/feeding schedule of your dog is, as well as any tricks they know, the time between bathroom breaks, and how the interact with other dogs.

About: My grandparents have bred many types of dogs since before I was even born. I learned a lot from them and the dogs they raised from pups. I have had cats my entire life and never not had one. I've had a rottweiler, a blue heeler, a pomeranian, a chihuahua, and plenty of different-sized mutts in my life. I also take care of plenty of other animals including birds, rats, snakes, bunnies, and more. I work three days a week and am a full time college student online. I can care for any of your furry or scaly friends any time other than the three days I work a week and that does vary week to week. For more long term care (anything more than a day) I can always help with your pets before and after work. I can take care of your furry and scaly friends at your house and I can take care of all you need me to do, including but not limited to, making sure they are fed and well hydrated, grooming of all kinds, have as many potty breaks as needed, giving your friend all the attention in the world, and more. Currently not accepting any pets at my apartment.
