“Cory is matter-of-fact, flexible, and a good energy for our hyper lab mix. We were able to schedule an additional walk during our vacation which we really appreciated. We received updates each time he stopped by. Big fan!”

“Brad is always awesome! He's my go-to when my husband and I are both gone all day. He's been so patient with our challenging dogs, and I appreciate him extensively.”

“Adrienne was an amazing dog walker! I was 8 months pregnant and really needed someone reliable and patient to walk Kiara, who is a high anxiety dog upon meeting new folks making her very shy and skeptical. Adrienne was patient and Kiara quickly grew to love her walks and play time with her. I am so appreciative of the care we got at this time when my physical abilities were so limited 💕”

“Jessica was great! She took time out of her night to come visit Koda the night before she walked him and see how they did with each other! She was also a great walker and was willing to just hang out with him outside of his kennel and play with his toys! We will definitely be going back to Jessica again!”

About: 1 year of professional dog and cat daycare and boarding experience. 2 years of dog and cat fostering including disabled kittens. Current loving home of 2 cats and a dog. I'm currently living at home after high-school and am unemployed. I used to work at a dog and cat daycare and boarding facility, but decided I wanted to make my own schedule. I'm not very social besides with animals so my schedule is open and flexible. I own 2 cats and a dog so I'm unable to board or pet sit at my own house, but I can travel to your house and look after your furry friend in an environment I'm sure they're more comfortable in anyway.
“Nila loved going on a walk with Alexandra and was so happy afterwards! She was flexible even with our last minute request, great at communicating, and understood the differences in dog personalities and how to work with that. Definitely would recommend her!”

“She was soo helpful and is so diligent!! Today I was so stuck and I totally wrote my whole calendar day down wrong. She was super flexible and was able to accommodate. I won’t do that often but I’m so grateful”

About: Caring for people and pets comes naturally to me. I worked in nursing for several years before leaving to care for my father full time.between that and being a mom giving love and care comes easy. I have 3 dogs of my own, all of which are friendly and love a bit of play time. I am a big believer in fresh air and exercise. Let's get those steps in for your 4 legged family member. I don't work a regular job, I care for my elderly father and do some side work here and there. So I am available for walking or drop in visits at a moments notice. I have a fenced in yard and food and treats at the ready. Many leashes and brushes and more. I have 3 dogs of my own that love to play with each other and yours too. I can also keep my dogs away if yours isn't socialized to others.
About: I’ve been around animals my whole life, of all shapes and sizes. I love all animals. I’ve grown up with working dogs, big dogs, feral cats, farm animals, and everything in between. I am always willing to go for midday lunch walks or weekend check ins while you are out and about being social (in the Ankeny/Polk City area). My husband works blue collar, so sometimes I have a lot of time to myself while he’s working, I’d love to fill in with walks at night or weekends in the Highland Park/Saylor/Beaverdale areas. Some nights he may even join if he’s home. I am always very cautious when going in for my furry friends for walks, making sure they are safe. I’m full of love and attention and energy to burn so I’d love a buddy. I’ve worked with highly trained dogs, and will honor any and all training your dogs follows.
“I was able to book Troy on short notice, which was very helpful. He was prompt, friendly, and my dog was instantly comfortable with him. I’d definitely recommend Troy and plan to book him again in the future!”
“Trusting someone with your dog can be hard but Kay-lea has made it very easy. Super friendly and professional! She treats my dog like her own, and that is unbeatable. Highly recommend.”
“This was our first time using Rover and Monica made the process so easy. She sent us notes and lots of pictures at every visit. She took cues from our dog on how far she could walk at each visit depending on the weather and then spent time cuddling our Boston Terrier too (which is just as important for our dog as exercise). We were out of town and never had to worry if things were going well! Our family highly recommends Monica for your pet walking/sitting needs!!”

About: Hi, I'm Alison! I have always had a deep and compassionate bond with animals. I grew up in a household with cats, dogs, rodents and fish that really molded me into the animal lover I am today. I have years of experience in animal rescue, having fostered dogs and cats of all ages and backgrounds, as well as professional experience with in-home and facility pet care. I am experienced with administering medication, whether it be insulin shots, inhalers, or pills. Currently, I am the proud Mom to one stubborn old Pitbull and three cats. To me, pets are family. They are deserving of love, respect, kindness, and a fulfilling life. Every client I work with is treated with the same level of attention and care that I would give to my own pets. Currently available for doggie daycare on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I am available for walks and drop-ins daily. Boarding is available on an as needed basis Having detailed instructions for accessing your home and your pets resources is very helpful. I can best care for your pet when I know exactly where things are and how to access them, as well as how to approach and interact with your pet!
About: I grew up always having cats and being a total cat lady, however after bringing home my first dog ever I realized how much I absolutely love and adore dogs! I have experience with having a dog of my own (sadly he went on to the rainbow bridge), plus caring for my sisters dog who I jokingly say is my part time dog. I also have experience with all the dogs I’ve gotten to meet through Rover. I would love to have a dog of my own again but I don’t have the proper time or space to have one right now, so I’m looking to get my fix by spending time with your dog! I’m currently available any time of day or night during the week and weekends! Im very attentive to your pets needs and making sure they are comfortable this includes lots of outdoor time with nice walks, and giving them lots of love and attention(not to mention treats!). :) I’m currently taking a little work hiatus so I am available anytime of day or night during the week and weekends to help care for your fur babies! I live in an apartment with 2 cats so any pets that stay with me need to be familiar and friendly with cats. I do have a spare bedroom that I can use for separation purposes however prefer to be familiar and good around cats if I will be watching in my home. If house sitting I will be available to stay in your home and will send lots of pictures and updates along the way.
