About: I’ve been a cat enthusiast since birth, and always had a few family dogs. Growing up as a kid my family did a lot of pet sitting for friends, family,and neighbors. About: Would love to drop in or walk your pet in my free time to allow you more free time together! I’m a cat lover at heart and I clicker train my own kitties. Thanks to my background in healthcare I can take human concepts and apply them to your baby, understanding behavioral and psychosocial needs including in positive reinforcement and operant conditioning. In my military training as a medic I have become competent in casualty care for military K-9s and this transfers well to making sure your pet is in the right hands! Avid fitness trainer, I aim to get your dog or cat on the walk they need during your work day! A friendly face goes a long way for a long day. I’m currently a part time LPN for work and student at DMACC for Nursing. In my free time I love to train and play with my kitties and I’m looking to help you and your pet enjoy yours’. Outside of nursing I’ve been a service member in the Iowa National Guard since high school, this is where I began my career in healthcare. I want to give your dog and cat a walk or visit they need! I’d be happy to hang out and help play with your cat or dog as well! I do not believe in laser lights or electronic toys as I believe these create anxiety/oc disorder traits within our pets, and thus intend to engage in real connection with your pet.

About: Animals should be treated like the family they are. I have a full acre with multiple secure fences for your animals to play around in. Any animal that loves being pet will get a lot of attention! They deserve to be treated with love and respect because they are apart of your family and are very important. I am a stay at home mom and that gives me a lot of flexibility with timing and scheduling. I am a stay at home mom so I have time to play with your dog and relax with them. They will be outside for a good part of the day with me as long as they want to be. There is plenty of shade as well as water available. There are two fences in place so your dog is really secure. There will always be water available as well as shade. If the weather is bad, or they prefer to be inside most of the day, the downstairs has enough room to run around a bit and is comfortable with a bed and water for them.

About: Dogs have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. My wife and I have been married for nearly 40 years, and throughout that time we've shared our home with three wonderful dogs—a Keeshond who lived to 15, a Border Terrier who also lived to 15, and our current French Bulldog, Bella, who is 8 years old. Bella has IVDD (Intervertebral Disc Disease), so I understand the importance of patience, gentle handling, following care routines, and recognizing when a dog needs a little extra attention. Caring for her has given me firsthand experience with dogs that have special health needs and reinforced the value of consistency and compassion. After retiring early from a successful career in information technology leadership, I'm excited to spend more time doing something I genuinely enjoy—helping dogs stay happy, healthy, and active while giving their owners peace of mind. Whether your dog needs a leisurely stroll, an energetic walk, or simply a dependable companion while you're at work, I'll treat them with the same care and respect I give my own. I'm dependable, punctual, cheerful, and an excellent communicator. I'm also very comfortable with technology, so I'm happy to send photo updates and messages during our walks so you can see how your pup is doing. I know how much our dogs mean to us—they're family. My goal is to make every walk safe, fun, and something your dog looks forward to while giving you complete confidence they're in caring, capable hands. Since I'm retired, I have the flexibility to dedicate my weekdays to caring for dogs. I'm available throughout the day until 6:00 p.m. for walks, drop-in visits, playtime, and companionship, making me a great fit for busy professionals who want their dogs to get exercise and attention while they're at work. I schedule plenty of time for each visit, so your dog will never feel rushed. Whether your pup enjoys a brisk walk, a leisurely stroll, or simply some one-on-one playtime and affection, I'll tailor each visit to their personality and energy level. Being reliable and punctual is important to me. I'll arrive on time, follow your instructions carefully, and keep you updated with photos and messages so you can relax knowing your dog is happy, safe, and well cared for. I understand that inviting someone into your home and trusting them with your pet is a big decision. My goal is to provide the same level of care and respect that I would want for my own dog and home. I'll carefully follow your instructions regarding feeding, walking, medications, playtime, and any special routines or restrictions your dog may have. Having cared for our own French Bulldog with IVDD, I understand the importance of paying close attention to a dog's individual needs and comfort level. I'll always make sure your pet has fresh water, receives plenty of attention and affection, and gets the exercise that's appropriate for them. I'll also treat your home with care by locking doors, respecting your property, and leaving everything just as I found it. Communication is important to me, so I'll send updates and photos during each visit to let you know how your dog is doing. My goal is for you to feel completely confident that your pet is safe, happy, and in caring, dependable hands while you're away.

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life, of all shapes and sizes. I love all animals. I’ve grown up with working dogs, big dogs, feral cats, farm animals, horses, and everything in between. I am always willing to go for midday lunch walks (in the Ankeny/Polk City area) or weekend check ins in the metro, while you are out and about being social. My husband works blue collar, so sometimes I have a lot of time to myself while he’s working, I’d love to fill in with walks at night or weekends in the Highland Park/Saylor TWP/Beaverdale areas, but willing to venture out into the metro. I am always very cautious when going in for my furry friends for walks, making sure they are safe. I’m full of love and attention and energy to burn so I’d love a buddy. I’ve worked with highly trained dogs, and will honor any and all training your dogs follows.

About: I graduated from the University of Minnesota and currently have a flexible schedule, which allows me to take on dog-sitting opportunities. I’ve spent my entire life around dogs of all breeds and sizes, and many people in my life would call me the biggest dog lover they know. My family has always had dogs, and they currently have three: Zoey, a 2-year-old Rat Terrier, Rocky, a 4-year-old Lab, and Bella, a 9-year-old Rat Terrier. As a dog sitter, I take pride in creating a safe, fun, and caring environment for every dog I look after. I want them to feel comfortable, happy, and loved while their owners are away! I have a flexible schedule and am available for pet care. I enjoy spending time with dogs of all breeds and focus on providing attentive, reliable care so they feel comfortable while you’re away. I’m familiar with bathroom routines, feeding schedules, and making sure pets get the right balance of play and rest. I understand how important consistency is and can be trusted to administer medications on time when needed. I also have experience with special needs pets, including caring for a blind dog in my own family for many years.
