About: I’ve been around animals my whole life, of all shapes and sizes. I love all animals. I’ve grown up with hunting dogs, big dogs, farm animals, and cats. I am always willing to go for midday lunch walks or weekend check ins while you are out and about being social (in the Ankeny/Polk City area). My boyfriend works blue collar, so sometimes I have a lot of time to myself while he’s working, I’d love to fill in with walks at night in the Ankeny area. Some nights he may even join if he’s home. We have a puppy of our own that could join, pending your permission of course. I am always very cautious when going in for my furry friends for walks, making sure they are safe. I’m full of love and attention and energy to burn so I’d love a buddy.

About: I have been around puppy dogs all of my life. From Saint Bernards to chihuahuas to basset hounds to mini dachshunds and everything in between. I am also the proud grannie of a Dutch shepherd. Having lost my 13-year-old companion a few years ago my heart is finally ready to help others take care of their loved ones. I am currently working full-time downtime and am available for early morning and evening potty breaks and walks. Depending on the location I can pop in over lunch. I am also available to stay overnight with your little one. I believe furry ones are more comfortable in their own homes. I strive to provide as much normalcy as possible to their routine. PRICING: I offer a base rate for the first pet, with a small additional fee for each extra pet. If you have both dogs and cats, the base rate applies only once per household. Pricing Example: 1 dog, 2 cats: $19 + $4 + $4 = $27 (Note: Fees will be updated prior to booking. Pets must be from the same household.) I have a senior male Chihuahua who accompanies me on overnight stays, so my availability for house-sitting is limited to pet families where this won't be an issue. I work from home and can be flexible for scheduled drop-ins or house-sitting. The pets I care for enjoy frequent breaks to play, walk, or relax in near my lap while I work on my laptop. My policy is to never let a dog out of my sight, even in a fenced yard. Pets can often behave unpredictably when separated from their owners. I focus on keeping them engaged through exercise and play tasks, providing plenty of distractions until your return. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities.
