About: I provide calm, home-based dog boarding and daycare designed to feel less like traditional boarding and more like staying with someone your dog already knows and loves. I’m generally home throughout the day, so my guests get plenty of attention, affection, playtime, outdoor breaks, naps, and cuddles. I intentionally keep things small and personal, caring for one dog or household at a time. My goal is simple: every dog in my home should feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. Dogs have been a huge part of my life for almost 30 years. I spent about 15 years fostering and helping rehabilitate abused and neglected dogs, volunteered as a dog specialist in high-stress shelter environments, and completed animal behavior and handling training through Best Friends Animal Society and Salt Lake County Animal Services. That experience taught me that dogs aren’t one-size-fits-all. I genuinely enjoy getting to know each dog’s personality and figuring out what makes them feel happiest and most at home. Most importantly, I know how hard it can be to leave your dog with someone else. I want you to leave knowing they’re safe, loved, understood, and probably being spoiled a little more than they’ll admit when you get home. I am generally home throughout the day, and I keep our daily routine flexible based on the needs of the pups staying with me. Energetic and ready to go? There will be plenty of walks, outdoor time, play, and opportunities to burn off that energy. More of a couch potato? Laid-back days, cozy naps, and couch snuggles are some of my favorite pastimes! Because I intentionally keep the number of dogs in my care exclusive, I'm able to get to know each pup's personality and make sure they get the right balance of activity, attention, play, and downtime. Not every dog wants to do the same thing, and that's perfectly okay. Pups are rarely left alone while staying with me. If I do need to step out, it's typically for a short period of time, usually no more than an hour or two. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my priority. There are no pets or children in the home, which helps create a quieter, lower-stress environment for dogs who prefer a little more peace and consistency. My family are all dog people, so pups are always surrounded by people who genuinely love and enjoy them. We have a fenced patio/run where dogs can safely enjoy outdoor time, stretch their legs, and take easy potty breaks throughout the day. I also have a secure lead setup in the front yard where dogs who enjoy the outdoors can safely relax, sunbathe on the outdoor bed, sniff around, and enjoy some fresh air while supervised. We’re also surrounded by some of Daybreak’s best dog-friendly parks, walking trails, and green space, including areas near the lake, which means lots of safe, leashed walks, fresh air, sniffing, and enrichment. For everyone’s comfort and safety, I require a meet & greet for all new clients to make sure we are a great fit before booking.

About: I have taken care of family and friends dogs and cats since I was about 15. I work in the veterinary field, I know how to give injections if need to be, I also know how to give medication either pill or liquid form. I work a full time job 7:30-4:30. But I am able to feed the cats or dogs before I go into work and once I get off. If need to be feed 3 times a day I do have an hour lunch so it would have to be close enough to my work so I can leave and get back in time. I am available all day on weekends watch your fur babies. I have a fenced in yard, if need to be boarded at my house my animals will most likely be staying at my parents house due to 2 of them being trouble makers 😂. I will play with them and walk them either at my house or yours. I love to see the different personalities and when they come out. I am always on watch with animals due to working in the veterinary field. I will always keep them safe

About: Ive taken care of cats of all ages since I was 10 and I have cared for dogs all of ages since I was 25. I have experience in training both cats and dogs as well. I now 4 years of training and care for domestic rabbits as well. I have recently stepped away from full time work to care for my daughters during the day and will now have plenty of time during the day and nights to care for your pet when care is needed. I will be available from 10-6 for day care, walks, playtime, and feedings. I will also have be open and available for boarding and overnight stays for those of you who would need that option. I have a fenced yard and two of my own friendly dogs who would love to play and entertain your pup. If crating is needed, I have a crate that can be used for your pup as well. Feeding and hydrating can also be done separately and secluded if preferred.

About: Ive grown up around a variety of animals my entire life, from your standard cats and dogs, to rabbits and chinchillas, to turtles and ducks! I have experience taking care of pets with specific medical needs and those who have limited mobility. Ive been watching over pets both for my family and for friends for 8 years and would love to be able to help take care of your furry (or not so furry) family members! I am a recent graduate from the University of Utah and am in the process of searching for a job, so Ive decided to spend this extra time devoted to both mine and other's pets! At my own home, I have two cats. One cat has chronic pancreatitis and often needs medicine to treat her symptoms, both in pill and liquid form. The other cat is an escape artist so I know how to walk into my home with extra caution to ensure they stay inside. Both cats can be playful, so we use laser pointers, furry mice toys, and worms on a stick to make sure they get their energy out, but we make sure not to use feathers or loose strings that could be harmful if ingested. We also have plenty of scratching posts available, as well as two cat trees for them to climb and scratch to their hearts content. In the case of discipline, my husband and I use a spray bottle of water to help discourage unwanted behaviors.

At my home I have a fully fenced yard with plenty of space to play and be active. I offer plenty of one‑on‑one attention, and a peaceful atmosphere. Dogs are supervised, kept comfortable, and treated like part of the family throughout their stay. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space and follow all instructions exactly as given. I maintain the dog’s normal routine to help them feel secure; including feeding, walks, playtime, and any medication needs. I keep the home tidy, communicate clearly, and ensure the pet receives consistent, attentive care. My goal is to make your dog feel comfortable while keeping your home just the way you left it.

About: I have been with and around every dog type since I could remember. I am not fearful around big dogs, my dog is a big lovable goof. I have been through an extensive training course with my dog so I can help keep training with yours. My schedule is currently pretty open so as long as I have a few days of notice I can help with your needs. Whether it’s just a walk or need an over night stay. In my hime I have a fence and a kennel that help keep my dog safe. In others homes I will accommodate whatever their situation. So if they have a kennel and want to keep their skills I will use it. If they don’t have a fence the dog with be on a leash. The dogs safety is the most important.

About: I have 3 years of hands-on pet care experience and I’m also a husky owner, so I understand how important patience, exercise, and attention are for every dog. I’m comfortable with walking, feeding, playtime, basic grooming, and keeping pets on their normal routine. I’m gentle, responsible, and always focused on making pets feel safe, happy, and cared for. I take dogs out for a walk every morning to make sure they get enough exercise and start the day well. In the afternoon, I usually take them to Middleton Dog Park for playtime and socialization. I follow each pet’s routine and make sure they stay active, happy, and well cared for throughout the day. I provide a safe, clean, and pet-friendly environment at all times. As a husky owner, I understand how to handle active and energetic dogs and always keep a close eye on their behavior. I make sure doors are secured, walks are done on leash, and pets are supervised during play. I follow each owner’s instructions carefully, including feeding, routines, and any special needs. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priority.

About: When people think of me, they think of animals. I have a genuine love for dogs. I have worked in a dog bakery, baking your babies special treats and can do the same per request while watching them. I have had all ages of dogs from puppy to geriatric and will give each one the care they need for the stage of life they’re in. I currently am home full time with my 2 small Boston terriers. There’s a fenced back yard to play in, a doggy pool and countless toys. I have a fenced yard for your pups to run around in or relax in. They can also stay inside if the weather isn’t great that day.

About: I’ve always grown up with dogs in my home and before finishing my bachelor’s degree, I graduated from a community college for Veterinary Assisting. I have administered medications, assisted vets with bandaging and cleaning, have taken care of boarding dogs at a clinic among many other daily duties of being a Veterinary Assistant. I work full time but work remotely 3 days a week. My schedule is flexible and with proper notice, I can fit whatever you need into my day! I do not offer in-home services since I have a cat of my own and she does not tolerate other animals. I am happy to visit your home to check in on your fur babies!

About: I have experience with large dogs, small dogs, cats, and many other animals. I currently own a Saint Bernard and I groom him on my own. I’m happy to provide that as a service. My husband works from home, so you will have someone there nearly 24/7. We have a dog door for times we are not home if you feel comfortable with that. Otherwise we can use your crate or have your dog loose in the house. Our children play baseball and we spend a lot of weeknights at the ball park, so we may need to leave your friend home for a few hours on weeknights through the end of May. I have a fully fenced in yard and a dog door that leads into it. We have 2 friendly dogs that would love to help socialize young dogs. We’re happy to go on walks and take your friend on adventures with us if you are comfortable with that. I have 3 boys who will enjoy spending time playing with your friends. We will provide a private feeding area for your pooch.

About: I am a nurse by trade and dog lover by heart! I have 3 big dogs of my own and 2 are seniors. I volunteer for dog rescues and host overnight stays and help transport dogs of all breeds and sizes! I would love to find a time that works to care for your pet! I have some full days off during the week and weekends! I am available most weekdays for drop ins or walks! I have a fenced back yard with room to run around and lots of toys to play with! My dogs are very friendly and love to play with other dogs!
