About: Fully fenced property! Lifelong animal lover. I work at a local pet store where I continue to educate myself on pet health and wellness. At home, I have a fur and feather fam of dogs, cats and chickens. (Chickens are in a part of the property the pups can’t get to). I understand how scary it is to leave your loved ones while you’re away, so I make sure to give them all the loves and pets they deserve while the parents go play! High communication is key to me! I currently only work 2 small shifts a week, so I am home most days to care for your babes! We do daily walks around the school behind me and get lots of love and treats! Comfortable giving meds if needed and working with specialized diets I have a fully fenced yard and 2 friendly pups! As I have been watching friends dogs for years, my cats are used to having dogs come and go. They keep their distance with unknown pups. Any pup that visits my home gets lots of treats, lots of love and a couple new play buddies to run around the yard with!

About: My husband and I love dogs. We are those people that notice all the dogs as we drive by! We both work from home and have a fenced in backyard. We have a medium size dog door or we will let them out whenever they need to! I have been watching dogs since I was little. My husband is amazing with dogs. We both have lots of time to love your dog and take them for walks. I am happy and able to take care of your fur babies any time during the day! Im willing to walk them, love them as if they were my own! Let's talk! I have a fenced in back yard to let them run around in. We take time to walk them whenever they need it. We do what we can to keep to their current schedule so its an easier transition for you when you come home. We will play and love them just like we would if they were ours! Pictures and updates come at least daily for you!

About: I provide calm, home-based dog boarding and daycare where your pup is treated like family, not just “watched.” I am generally home all day and host one dog or one family at a time, so your pet receives personalized attention, a peaceful environment, and plenty of love, play, and one-on-one care throughout their stay. No crowded boarding situations. No overwhelming chaos. Just a safe, cozy home where dogs can settle in, relax, and feel comfortable. I have almost 30 years of hands-on experience, caring for dogs of all sizes, temperaments, energy levels, and unique needs. My experience includes: • Owning and training dogs since I was 18 (almost 30 years) • 15 years fostering and helping to rehabilitate abused and neglected dogs • Animal behavior and handling training through Best Friends Animal Society and Salt Lake County Animal Services • Volunteer experience as a dog specialist in high-stress shelter environments • Pet First Aid & CPR certification • Experience administering oral and injectable medications • Currently enrolled in the GoodPup Dog Training Course to continue expanding my knowledge and skills My goal is simple: for you to feel completely at ease while your dog feels safe, loved, and right at home. I am generally home all day. I adjust my day around your pup(s). Energetic and needs a lot of exercise? We'll go for walks, hikes, and play to their hearts content. More of a couch potato? Laid back couch snuggles are one of my favorite pass times! Fur babies are rarely left alone. If I do need to step out, it is typically only for a short period of time, usually no more than a an hour or two. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my priority. Dogs staying with me enjoy a calm, home-based environment with plenty of love, attention, and one-on-one care. There are no pets or children in the home, which helps create a quieter, lower-stress environment for dogs who prefer a little more peace and consistency. My family are all dog people, so pups are always surrounded by people who genuinely love and enjoy them. We have a fenced patio/run where dogs can safely enjoy outdoor time, stretch their legs, and take easy potty breaks throughout the day. I also have a secure lead setup in the front yard where dogs who enjoy the outdoors can safely relax, sunbathe on the outdoor bed, sniff around, and enjoy some fresh air while supervised. We’re also surrounded by some of Daybreak’s best dog-friendly parks, walking trails, and green space, including areas near the lake, which means lots of safe, leashed walks, fresh air, sniffing, and enrichment. For everyone’s comfort and safety, I require a meet & greet for all new clients to make sure we are a great fit before booking.

About: With 15 years as a professional groomer and ongoing pet sitting experience, I’ve worked with all kinds of pets and personalities. I treat every animal like my own and make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. My schedule is very flexible, allowing me to be available most days and times. I occasionally do DoorDash and babysit on Mondays and Tuesdays, but I prioritize and plan around my pet sitting commitments. I care for pets in their own home where they feel safest and most relaxed. I follow your pet’s routine closely—meals, walks, playtime, and medications if needed—and make sure they get plenty of attention and affection. I treat your home and your pets with the same care and respect I would my own.

About: I offer drop in visits at your home, which can include feeding, fresh water, potty breaks, playtime, walks, or just some quality couch time with your pet. Whatever your routine is, I follow your lead! I have been caring for pets for over 20 years. I raised both of my own, Chuy my dog and Hunny my cat, from when they were small. Over the years friends and family have trusted me with their pets while they traveled, both dogs and cats, in their home and in mine. I once took a friend's dog to surgery and cared for him through his entire recovery while my friend was away for work. That is just the kind of pet person I am. I work part time evenings so my mornings and middays are wide open for your pet. I am available weekdays from 8am to 3pm and fully available on weekends too. Your pet will never feel rushed. I genuinely have time to hang and give them real attention and love. I take pet care seriously but I also just genuinely love animals. Honestly I love them more than most people lol. I believe our pets do so much more for us than we ever do for them and that belief shows in how I show up for every visit. Your pet deserves nothing less. 🐾 I work part time evenings so my mornings and middays are wide open! I'm available weekdays from 8am to 3pm and fully available on weekends too. Your pet won't be getting a quick rushed visit, I genuinely have time to hang out and give them real attention. 🐾 Since I come to you, your pet gets to stay in their own home where they feel safe and comfortable, no new environments or extra stress. I can do drop in visits, extended stays at your place, walks, a trip to the park, or just chill on the couch with them for a bit. Whatever your pet needs, I'm flexible and I follow your lead on their routine and rules. 🏡

About: Animals have always been an important part of my life. I've owned both cats and dogs throughout the years and have cared for pets belonging to family, friends, and coworkers while they were away. My experience includes dogs, cats, birds, fish, and turtles, and I enjoy getting to know each pet's unique personality and needs. I also completed basic training in a veterinary assistant program before it unfortunately closed. That experience gave me a better understanding of animal health, behavior, and the importance of attentive care. My long-term dream is to continue my education and eventually open an animal sanctuary where I can provide a safe, loving place for animals in need. Until then, I'm grateful for every opportunity to care for pets and treat them with the same love, patience, and respect I would give my own. I work full time Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM and Fridays from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. My lunch break is from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, and I can often extend it if your pet needs extra time for a potty break, walk, or some attention during the day. I'm available for overnight house sitting and believe pets are happiest when they can stay in their own familiar environment. I'll follow your pet's routine closely, provide plenty of love and companionship, and keep you updated with messages and photos while you're away. My goal is to make your time away as stress-free as possible for both you and your pets. I'll also treat your home with the same respect I would my own by keeping it clean, secure, and leaving everything as I found it. Throughout your time away, I'll send regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pets are safe, happy, and receiving plenty of love and attention. When caring for pets in your home, I do my best to keep their routine as normal as possible. I'll follow all of your instructions for feeding, walks, potty breaks, playtime, medications (if needed), and any special care your pet requires. I know every animal is different, so I take the time to understand their personality and comfort level. I'll also treat your home with the same respect I would my own by keeping it clean, secure, and leaving everything as I found it. Throughout your time away, I'll send regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pets are safe, happy, and receiving plenty of love and attention.

Mariana was amazing! Our dogs were well taken care of. She was able to administer medication, and of course their food and water. They seemed happy in all the pictures she sent. Our older dog doesn’t always want to eat, and Mariana even took the time to hand feed him. I will definitely book her again next time we go on a trip!

I’m so grateful for the amazing care Nakitta provided for my two dogs while I was away on vacation! She went above and beyond, especially with one of my pups being a young puppy. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing they were in such good hands. She kept me updated with pictures and messages throughout the week, which made being away from them so much easier. It was clear that she genuinely cared for them and made sure they were happy, comfortable, and well taken care of. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and trustworthy pet sitter. Thank you again for taking such wonderful care of my pups! I will definitely be booking with her again in the future. Thank you! ❤️

Whether you’re at the office for the day or traveling for a few nights, a pet sitter can offer potty breaks during a Magna stroll, cleaning the litter box, or making sure your pet has on-time food or water refills. For daytime services like walking and drop-ins, you can also request sitters to send a report card with every visit.

Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover to what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Magna choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.

To find sitters in Magna with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Magna. On Rover:

  • 91% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 97% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
