About: Hi! I’m Sylvi, and caring for animals has been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up helping my family and friends take care of their dogs, so being around pups feels completely natural to me. From feeding and walking to playing, training basics, and giving lots of love. While I’m in school at SUU, I volunteer at the local animal shelter in Cedar City and dog sit for my friends border collie consistently. That experience has taught me how to work with dogs of all personalities, including shy, anxious, energetic, and special‑needs pups. I’m patient, calm, and always focused on making dogs feel safe and comfortable. When I’m home for the summer, I love using my free time to help pet parents who need someone reliable and caring. Whether your dog needs a long walk, a quick potty break, or just a friendly face while you’re away, I’m here to make sure they’re happy and well cared for. I currently work full time at a bike shop Tuesday - Saturday. I am available Saturday evenings, Sundays, and Mondays. I can also do pretty early mornings on most weekdays. I have a reliable car to transport your pet if needed and no issues with hair! I walk dogs consistently for my local animal shelter in Cedar City and love taking them on leisure walks or even hikes if that's something your dog enjoys! I'm down for anything and just want to make your dog happy and comfortable!
“Sara was prompt in arrival and took good care of sweet Ruby! We are out of the country and felt safe with Ruby in Sara’s care. She took her on a long walk and even on an adventure in the car which I’m sure Ruby loved. Our old dog was almost 16 when she passed so it has been some time since we’ve had a puppy. Sara handled our puppy wildness with ease.”

“Becky did an amazing job caring for my diabetic cat. My cat can be a challenge at times when getting shots from anyone other than myself, but Becky persevered! She went out of her way to ensure my cat got his insulin, even when he was acting angry about it. Becky gave me daily updates with photos so I could be at peace knowing how my cat was doing and behaving. She cleaned the litter box and left a clean house. Becky truly has a love for animals and I would recommend her as a great pet sitter!”

About: Hi! I’m in North Salt Lake and have been around animals my whole life. I grew up with dogs and have had my cat for 14 years, so I’m very used to daily care, routines, and paying attention to what pets need. I also have a pet stroller available for cats or small dogs if needed. I love spending time with animals and making sure they feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. Pet care fits easily into my routine. I’m available in the mornings, can stop by during my lunch break for a check-in or let-out, and have time after work for walks and spending time with pets. I make sure they stay on their normal schedule and get the attention they need. I focus on keeping pets on their normal routine, including feeding, walks, and any specific care instructions. In a client’s home, I make sure they feel comfortable in their familiar environment and give them plenty of attention and care. I’m happy to provide regular updates and photos so you always know how your pet is doing.
“Nicole was a life saver! I had an unexpected outing that kept me away from home for too long. I contacted her very last minute and thankfully she was able to stop by for a check in. Would definitely book again.”

“We recently moved and had to find a new drop in sitter for our cat, and Annie was great! She sent lots of pictures, communicated well, and most of important took great care of our cat while we were away for a long weekend! We will definitely look to rebook Annie for future trips!”

About: I have had pets in my home for my entire life. I have volunteered in animal shelters since 2019 and currently do regular shifts at a local shelter, where I walk dogs (I am trained to the most advanced level, meaning I can interact with and walk dogs who are still working on their social skills and interactions), take dogs and cats on local news shows to encourage adoption, foster dogs in my own home, and take part in educational opportunities to continually advance my animal care and advocacy abilities. My full-time job is remote and has a flexible schedule, so I can hang out with pets for much of the day and take breaks for outside time, playtime, appointments, and so on. I also teach a handful of yoga classes every week, usually in the late mornings, but the times vary from week to week. I am happy to give your pet what they need, whether that's scritichies, playtime, walks, gentle time sitting around, medicine, and so on. Whatever it is, I will be patient with them and their needs.
About: Hi! I’m Deena, a devoted pet lover who understands how important it is to find someone you trust with your furry family members. I provide a safe, loving home where your pet will receive plenty of attention, playtime, cuddles, and regular photo updates while you’re away. I believe boarding should feel like a sleepover, not a kennel. My goal is for every dog to feel safe, comfortable, and treated like part of the family. Whether your dog loves walks, backyard playtime, or simply relaxing indoors, I’ll make sure they feel happy, secure, and right at home. • I’m available for boarding seven days a week. • I’m self-employed, so I’m home most of the day and typically only out for a few hours at a time. • As an empty nester, my home is quiet with no young children, allowing me to provide plenty of attention and supervision for your pet. • I have a fully fenced yard with a doggy door and share my home with my two friendly resident dogs, Jasper (Pomchi) and Buster (young Corgi), along with my cat, GG. • Both of my dogs are friendly and well-socialized, and GG generally prefers to keep to himself. • I carefully supervise introductions and can keep pets separated using gates and crates if needed, so every pet feels comfortable and safe. • I only accept one family’s dog(s) at a time. This allows me to provide individualized attention, a calm environment, and a less stressful experience for every guest. • Every guest receives one-on-one attention, plenty of affection, regular playtime, and photo updates so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pet is happy and comfortable.

About: Hi, I’m Claire, a lifelong animal lover and proud Yorkie mom! I have experience house sitting and caring for pets of all breeds, sizes, and energy levels. Whether it’s cuddling with a senior pup or taking an active dog on long walks, I treat every pet like family. When I’m not caring for animals, you’ll usually find me walking, listening to audiobooks, or training for my next race. I love staying active, which means your dog will get plenty of fresh air, exercise, and attention, whether they prefer a relaxed stroll or a jog. I understand how important it is to have someone reliable, respectful, and genuinely caring looking after your pets and home. I bring calm, consistency, and lots of love to every visit so you can feel confident while you’re away. My goal is to make sure your pets feel safe, happy, and loved the entire time you’re gone. I’d love the chance to meet you and your family! I currently work remotely, Monday-Friday during normal office hours. Typically, I work for my apartment and I’m available fully after three. On an average day, I’ll run before work around 6 AM and take my dog on a long walk around three. In your home, I care for your pets the same way I care for my own, with love, patience, and attention to their unique needs. I stick to your pet’s usual routine, including feeding times, walks, potty breaks, playtime, and any medications they may need. I like to keep things calm and comfortable for your pets, giving them lots of affection (if they want it!) and making sure they feel safe while you’re away. I also send regular updates and photos, so you always know how things are going. Respecting your space is just as important, I leave your home clean, secure, and just how you left it.
About: I have been around animals for my entire life. My dad grew up on a farm and his mom bred, groomed and boarded dogs as well as had a bunch of ponies, horses, cows etc. My mom has my childhood dog and cat at her house so my house has no pets and is ready to accommodate yours. Right now I’m very flexible with my job! I don’t go into the office every day and when I do it’s usually only a few hours! I treat all animals I care for as my own. I will always make sure they are well taken care of for basic needs and also getting good play and snuggle time!
About: Hi there! My name is Casey, and I’m a special education teacher in the valley with a big heart for both people and pets. Caring, patience, and reliability are at the core of everything I do and are qualities that naturally extend into the way I care for animals. At home, I share my life with my husband and our two wonderful dogs, Mae and Miley, who bring me endless joy and keep me active every day. Having them has taught me so much about unconditional love, responsibility, and the importance of tailoring care to each pet’s unique personality and needs. Whether it’s going for walks, playtime, or simply providing comfort and companionship, I treat every pet like family. You can feel confident knowing your furry loved ones will be safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. Mae, Miley, and I are excited to welcome some new furry friends into our circle! I’m a teacher, so I work 7:30-3 everyday. My afternoons are typically very flexible aside from Spanish class on Monday and Wednesday from 5-6:30, but I’m happy to stop by before and/or after that! Additionally, I am able to stop by before work at around 7 am if given prior notice. I tend to go out of town most weekends in the fall but, again, can adjust my schedule with enough notice. Hope this aligns with your needs! Ideally, I would be meeting at your home to provide care or taking your dog(s) out on a fun adventure along with my own two pups! Happy to come by just once or multiple times a day. My dog, Mae, has chronic allergies, so I am very used to and comfortable with administering medication and cleaning ears.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - North Salt Lake
Rachael was wonderful—this was our first time using her, and she exceeded expectations. We have two dogs and four senior cats with complex care needs, including medications, and she handled everything confidently and correctly. We left detailed instructions, and she followed them closely and kept us updated throughout the stay. It’s not easy to step into a multi-pet household with more involved care, especially on a first visit, but Rachael made it feel seamless. We felt comfortable and confident that our pets were in good hands. We would absolutely book with her again.

Michelle was very helpful when she came and petsit my dogs. My friend found the one of the dogs turned the gas stove on and the whole house smelled like gas. She called the gas technician and made sure that there was no leak. Thank you, Michelle, for all your help when I couldn’t be there.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
