“McKenna did a wonderful job taking care of my 2 cats. She’s trustworthy and easy to work with, and she made sure my cats were happy/stress-free while I was away.”
About: I have taken care of pets since I was a little kid. My parents loved having animals and sometimes it felt like living on a farm! I have loved each animal unconditionally. You can never have to much pet love! I current work for a school district. The hours are short and make it easy for me to care for pets. I have holidays, summer breaks and weekends off to take care of your pets! I have a fenced in yard and 2 dogs of my own to give your dogs some friends. If needed I have 2 extra crates in my home if your pet needs it. Pets are family and we all need someone to give them the care they deserve.
“Megan was amazing! She kept in contact well with updates and questions. She took her time making sure our dog was taken care of. I will definitely be booking with her again when we head out of town!”

“Amber provided amazing care for our cat while we were out of town for a few days! We were so relieved our cat warmed up to her right away as he is very picky about who he lets in his space. He has his own way of letting us know if he wants pets or not and she was very good at reading his cues and body language. She is very communicative and sent us a lot of pictures and videos while we were gone. Definitely would recommend!”

About: I’ve cared for dogs my entire life—from growing up with family pets to raising two of my own as an adult. Being around dogs comes naturally to me, and I’m attentive to their individual needs, routines, and personalities. Your pup will have plenty of room to relax and play, with a spacious yard and a comfortable home environment designed to help them feel safe, happy, and at ease while you’re away. I am a stay at home mom and aside from grocery runs or errands, I am always home. I make the perfect pet sitter because I have the time and space to keep your pet comfortable and happy while you are away. I have a fully fenced yard (two different sections) and two friendly King Charles cavalier dogs that are very chill but also love to play. I also have two friendly cats that do their own thing and are able to hide away in areas dogs can’t access. I have lots of space to keep all animals separate or together whichever your animal needs. I have a large crate in the main living area if your pup feels safe in a crate. I will also put my animals in a different room if that is what your pet needs. Your pets comfort and happiness is my priority!
“Anna was amazing! She was very communicative and sent daily pictures of my pets. I appreciated her flexibility and understanding of my kitties unique needs. She will be my go-to sitter in the future.”

“Ariah did a great job ❤️ & followed my instructions to my preference for my lab!, I was worried mainly about him getting his medication but she kept me at ease during my time away! I will definitely use her again 😁. THANK YOU AGAIN!”

“This team was great for our cat! The daily drop ins were actually 30 minutes! Rachel and Melissa were also able to take the assignment last minute which was super helpful! We loved having some pictures of our kitty cat meow meow while out of town! Solid team efforts and we are so appreciative of their time! 10/10 would and will use again in the future!”

About: Hi, I’m Anne! I’m from Washington, 23 years old, and a recent graduate of BYU (public health). For 5 years I raised goats and chickens and turkeys and my cute labradoodle. I love animals and my small hobby farm taught me how to work hard and care for them. I just graduated from BYU and missed all my animals so much that I hope make up for lost time by spending lots of time loving other people’s pets, too! My own dog is 12 years old and very well trained. I loved training him. I am calm and level headed but still love to play, go to dog parks, and explore outdoors. As my own dog as aged, I have grown to understand the new challenges and needs to ailing pets. I also love taking cats to the park or staying in doors and chilling at a respectful distance from them. I currently work from home, so I am available for full ir part time day care and midday walks. I am also available morning and evenings for feedings and walks. My labradoodle mentioned in my profile does not currently live with me (he will be moving in mid June). I have a beautiful back yard (no fence) and am close to a few parks and trails I love. I have a spacious one bedroom apartment (mother-in-law suite, so attached to a house). For space reasons, I can only accommodate 2 midsized dogs for daycare (1 large, 3 small) per day. I can accommodate 2 cats (on days with no dogs, of course) I can also stay at your home and housesit while pet sitting. Details can be worked out between us!
“Kaylee was so good with our two pups, and kept us updated. With the ease scheduling and fantastic care she gave, I will definitely rebook with Kaylee! I have never seen them look so relaxed and happy after a trip. So so much better than boarding. Thanks again, Kaylee!”

About: I am a dedicated animal lover with a natural ability to connect well with pets. I currently have a 2 pound chihuahua and have experience fostering, whom I thoroughly enjoyed caring for. I am able to care for dogs in the evening for walks when fur parents may not be available to do so. In addition to fostering, I also connect with cats. A friend's skittish cat feels comfortable enough to move about freely and relax in my presence, which reflects my calm and patient approach to animal care. I am currently looking for a part time gigs in the evenings Monday-Friday starting at 5:30pm. In the weekends I am only able to drop in and check on the fur friend and/or go on a walk with me. If there is a consistent fur friend that needs constant care, i would be opened to that. Before going to someone's home, I would ask what are is okay and not. What the fur friend needs to have a good time. Go on walks, on a small hike. Take to a dog park to socialize. Any specific details that I must know.
About: I’m a high school senior who’s grown up with animals of every kind — dogs, cats, ferrets, hamsters, even fish — and I love caring for them all. I enjoy getting to know each pet’s personality and making sure they feel safe, loved, and right at home while you’re away. Between school and dance I stay busy, but I always make time for furry (or fluffy!) friends. I have my own car, so it’s easy for me to come to you for walks or drop-ins, or boarding at my home. I’m a student with a set school and dance schedule, but I’m available most mornings, evenings, and weekends. I’m great at working around routines and can usually make things fit if I have a little notice. I always make sure pets feel safe, happy, and cared for — keeping things clean and sticking to their usual routine as much as possible. I have a big fenced yard and two friendly, fixed large dogs (one male, one female), so any pets who stay here just need to be good with other dogs. Everyone’s comfort comes first.
About: I have had and loved dogs since I was learning how to walk with my best friend Buster! I’m familiar with all things dog and cat care related, from puppy/kitten to senior. No additional skills to highlight, just common sense, critical thinking, and a whole lot of love for animals. I’m available all days of the week to care for your animals! I’m currently looking for an additional part-time job on top of Rover, but for the time being my availability is open! I am able to care for your pets however you would like! I'm available for house sitting, drop bys, and walks. I am just short of 5ft tall, so I may have trouble walking bigger dogs, but we can discuss if that comes up!
About: Hi friend! My names Emmie and I have been taking care of dogs since I was around 10 years old. I currently have 4 dogs and love them so much! One of my pups gave birth to 5 sweet little furballs, and I helped potty train, walk them, and play with them. I adore animals, especially dogs and think that they should be treated with love. I’m so excited to take care of your furry friends! I’m currently working a part-time job, which means that I will have plenty of time to walk your pups! My schedule is open and flexible, so I’ll definitely be able to take care of your friends for you while you’re gone, whether that be walking, or visiting your home! I have a car so I’m able to travel to your home to visit your furry friend! I will make sure to keep your house clean and tidy and your pups happy

About: Hi! I’m a dedicated dog mom to Moki and have been caring for dogs since I had my first pup back in Lima. Over the years I’ve also taken care of friends’ dogs treating each one as if they were my own. I have also been able to teach Moki a lot of tricks and keep working on them. I understand how important is to leave your furry baby with someone you trust. I provide a safe loving and attentive environment where your dog will feel comfortable and cared for. Since I’m currently not working. I have a very flexible schedule and can dedicate plenty of time and attention to bed care. I’m home most of the day, which allows me to closely supervised, stick to feeding and walking schedules and provide consistent companionship and care. I make sure pets feel safe, comfortable and loved I follow their routine and I have a fence yard and a friendly dog with me. I will also pay close attention to any special instructions provided by the owner

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Fruit Heights
Jeff was absolutely amazing! I contacted him very last minute, the day before leaving town, and he still made time to come over the same day for a meet and greet. From the very first minute, he was incredibly kind, patient, and natural with my three dogs. They loved him right away, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. Jeff is reliable, caring, and clearly great with animals. I truly appreciated his help and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy dog sitter!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
