“Kaylee is amazing with my pup. Always good at communicating and very flexible with any changes I had. She was patient because my dog is a little shy and she really goes the extra mile to make sure she is comfortable. Thank you for everything! Highly recommend her to take care of your fur baby if you’re an anxious dog mom like me.”

“Kaylee is wonderful, she came and met my dog free of charge beforehand and spent time getting familiar with her. She is very communicative and reliable. Her love for animals is very clear. Thanks Kaylee!”

“Arielle was prompt in her communication and arrival. Her thorough report back after finishing her walk with Ayla was very appreciated. Wonderful first experience with Rover and Arielle.”
“Ben is great!! My dog is a rescue and can be a bit skittish around strangers especially men, but Jethro isn’t scared seems to really like Ben and enjoys his visits with him. Ben has been walking and playing with my dog during visits and really trying to get to know my dog. I appreciate everything he has done and will continue booking him for weekly visits. Ben is definitely five stars!!”

“Traylor and Jason are awesome! They can handle my strong but sweet 70lbs girl! She loves them. Great communication! They help made my girl's day more enjoyable! They even put her sweatshirts on her when needed!”

“Courtney was wonderful about keeping me in the loop along with updates following the walk. She was very prompt and communication was seamless. I know Bjørn and I look forward to having Courtney again.”

About: Hi, I’m Summer! I just moved to Utah from Florida and have lived with and cared for dogs my whole life. I have experience with small and large breeds, as well as puppies and senior dogs. In college, I looked after my roommate’s labradoodle solo for about three months, handling walks, feedings, and plenty of playtime and cuddles. Now that I’m getting to know Utah and spending more time outdoors, I’d love some furry company along the way! I truly love dogs and treat every one like family. Whether your pup loves adventures, playtime, or cozy naps, I’ll make sure they feel happy, safe, and cared for. My schedule is really flexible right now since I’m not currently working, so I have plenty of time to spend with your pup! I’m usually around during the week for walks or drop-ins. I always treat every home and pet with the same care and respect I’d want for my own. I keep a close eye on safety during walks, double-check doors and gates, and follow your pet’s routine so they feel comfortable and happy. I’ll also keep you updated with messages and pictures so you always know your dog is safe and cared for.
“Kerry was great !! He actually came to be introduced to my dogs prior and took some time to get to know them and see how the interacted. On the walk he was gentle and worked on the dogs behavior of pulling. Can’t recommend him enough to anyone with large dogs”

About: Hi! My name is Jayne! I am a mom of 6 and grandma of 11. I have also been a dog owner for many years. I truly feel that they are part of the family and should be treated with love and respect. I have worked as a volunteer at the animal shelter as well as a professional dog walker. As I've worked with dogs, I've learned that each one is different. They each have their own personality and their needs can vary. I feel that dog owners know their dog best and I will listen and take advice on how to best care for their pet. I'm excited to start this adventure! I am retired and spend my spare time playing with grandkids! I have lots of extra time to assist families with pet care. I am available most days at any time! I am reliable and trustworthy. I am very aware of pet's needs and will create an environment where your pet will feel safe and loved.
About: I’ve had dogs my whole life. I love them all. My recent experience (own dogs) has been with senior dogs. The seniors are so sweet, so loving, and just need me more. Puppies are so much fun, and so energetic! Love playing with them. And that puppy breath…one of my all time favorites! If you give me the opportunity to spend time with your fur baby, I’ll follow through. No doubts. If I have something come up, work issue, whatever, I have built in my backup plan. My retired police officer husband and home from the Marine Corps son, are always willing to help when needed. I am currently working full-time, however, covid blessed me with working from home 1/2-3/4ths of the time. I’m usually in the at-work office Monday and Wednesday mornings only, at the home office the rest of the time. When I’m not home, for a random reason in the evening, my husband or grown, college student son are home. Our single family home is fully fenced, has a doggie door to the backyard, which is always accessible. My own doggo’s enjoy cuddling on our bed to sleep, but we also have dog beds in every room of the house. So, depending on what you want for your fur-baby works for me.
About: I’ve had dogs and cats since I was a toddler. Growing up we also had Guinea pigs. We currently have a dog, cat, chinchilla, bearded dragon, and a blue tongued skink. My teenage kids and I volunteer at the Davis county animal shelter I work full time, but my schedule changes daily, so I would be able to make sure your pet gets the time, love, and attention it needs I would have to come do drop ins at your home, since my dog is a rescue and not tolerant of other dogs. My teenage kids would love to play with and love on your pets with me, if that is something you would be ok with.
“Cydnee was so great to stop by last minute and take my Grizzly bear on a walk last minute. He is exhausted which is fantastic. I will definitely rebook. Thank you Cydnee!!”

About: Hello! I have worked as a professional dog trainer for over a year. I have worked with all ages and even dogs with special needs. I can care/train for your dog any time of the week. My schedule is very flexible and I can work weekends as well! Thank you I can come to your house to care for your pets. Take them potty and on walks. If you would like some training while you are gone I can do that as well. We can talk specifics if you need training.

Grace is amazing. She was very communicative and did so great with my two pups. I came home with both of them in good moods and because she sent lots of updates, I knew they were well taken care of while I was at work. I will definitely rebook with her in the future.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
