“Bruce was very accommodating and easy to work with. My dog got excited to see my son when he picked him up and then didn't want to leave Bruce's house. He was obviously very comfortable and happy!”

“This family did such an amazing job! I have a little Chaweenie I left with them for four days. Cara sent me photos daily of my little girl and I loved that to know she was ok and well taken care of. Thank you guys so much!!”

“Chris and her family are the most loving and caring people. We have absolute total peace of mind when we leave our little pup with her. She’s always incredibly easy to communicate with and sends the sweetest updates. We hope she never stops watching, she’s our person without a doubt. Thank you Chris🩷”

“Cassie and her family were absolutely amazing to my Zoë! I got daily updates with pictures and videos that made me feel so comforted while I was away. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone! Their dog, Dublin, was also the best playmate for my girl. The pups got along great and I know she was so so happy during her stay. Cassie was also very flexible while I had multiple flight delays and kept Zoë safe and happy until I could get there. I’d book with this lovely family again in a heartbeat☺️”

“Rachael and her family were fantastic!!! She sent us pictures and kept us as updated as we wanted. I loved that there were other dogs there for it’s to play with as well. We could tell this family loves doggies and knows how to keep them happy!!”

“Kimberly was really great with Sampson. It was his first time staying with someone that wasn't family. The pictures she sent were wonderful. I will use Kimberly for any future stays Sampson may need.”

About: I’ve taken care of animals since birth and till death. I’ve been around pets my whole life and know the do’s and don’t’s of pet care. I have a part time job but if I accepted your boarding request I would be home the entire time. You will never have to worry about a lack of attention and care from me. My pets get along with others and are crate trained. Your pets would be treated like a member of the family. We could work on training as well.
“Rebecca was awesome to work with. She kept me in the loop the entire time she had my boys and when I showed up they were still having fun. I would highly recommend her to her and will certainly be using her for boarding in the future!”

I also have a fully fenced 1/4-acre backyard, giving dogs plenty of space to run, play, and explore safely. Whether it’s daily or overnight stays, I treat every pet like they’re my own. I’m dependable, communicative, and focused on keeping your pets happy and relaxed, with regular updates and photos for your peace of mind. “We LOVE Casondra!! Embry has the absolute best time with her which includes tons of playtime, fun walks, and nonstop snuggles. On our most recent visit, Embry wasn’t feeling her greatest, and Cassondra went above and beyond to give her extra love and attentive care. Knowing our baby was so well cared for gave us total peace of mind. Embry adores her, and so do we!! I couldn’t recommend her more!”

“Ashley was great about keeping us updated with lots of photos and it appears our pup had a great time! He came home exhausted from having so much fun all weekend! 🤣 Would definitely use Ashley again.”

“I highly recommend Crystal for boarding your animal. She made our dog Milo feel very comfortable and attended to his every need. She sent us regular updates on how his stay was going, which put our minds at ease. She was very responsive and easy to communicate with. We will definitely be coming back again. Milo was calm and happy after his stay.”

“Wendy is wonderful! She gave us daily updates, and did wonders for our young puppy’s potty training and socialization. It was a great experience for all of us... pup and people!”

“Shelly was great! She has a nice, clean home with a beautiful yard. She was great at communication and it was easy to schedule drop-off and pick-up times. It’s clear that she loves pets, and I didn’t worry at all when I left my dog in her care! I’ll definitely take my dog to her again!”

“A Mary Poppins in every way. Your pooch will have room to play and she even had a dryer in her garage for those wet and muddy play days. She was on time and adaptable. Will definitely use again. Shadow loves her family and her and I lover her.”

I’d give Rachel 10 stars if it was an option. She was super responsive. Extremely understanding when my plans had to change unexpectedly (I still feel really bad about that), and overall probably took better care of my dog than we do at home. I will 100% be using her again.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in UT ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
