About: I am a dedicated animal lover with a natural ability to connect well with pets. I currently have a 2 pound chihuahua and have experience fostering, whom I thoroughly enjoyed caring for. I am able to care for dogs in the evening for walks when fur parents may not be available to do so. In addition to fostering, I also connect with cats. A friend's skittish cat feels comfortable enough to move about freely and relax in my presence, which reflects my calm and patient approach to animal care. I am currently looking for a part time gigs in the evenings Monday-Friday starting at 5:30pm. In the weekends I am only able to drop in and check on the fur friend and/or go on a walk with me. If there is a consistent fur friend that needs constant care, i would be opened to that. Before going to someone's home, I would ask what are is okay and not. What the fur friend needs to have a good time. Go on walks, on a small hike. Take to a dog park to socialize. Any specific details that I must know.

We have a whole laundry list of little routines and special requirements (who gets what food, who needs extra attention, who needs what meds and vitamins) and she handled every little thing. She gave everyone extra loves and wasn’t even slightly put off by our dramatic, screaming hound (who, might I add, is completely in love with her). That says everything. We also loved getting the daily photos and little updates! They weren’t generic, just sweet little check-ins that made us feel content and totally at ease while we were gone. After searching through many different potential borders, Julie‘s house is one of the very select couple where I will trust my fur baby to go when I need to go out of town. He always is picked up after obviously having a great time. She is amazing and I highly recommend her if you need someone to watch the furry member of your family.
We boarded our dog with Kelsey and her sweet family for a few days, and everything went great! My dog seemed so relaxed and tired out when I picked her up haha, so I feel like she had a great time. ☺️ I loved that someone was always home with her, so she didn’t have to spend much time alone. She got lots of playtime, pets, and attention, which made me feel really good about leaving her. Their yard was also amazing and had so much space for her to run around and play! Kelsey and her family were so sweet with her during the meet and greet, so I felt really good about leaving her with them while we were gone. I unfortunately ran late to the drop-off, but Kelsey was super understanding and flexible, and we were still able to work out a time that worked. We had such a great experience and would definitely trust Kelsey and her family with our dog again! ❤️ Thank you so much again!
