“We are so impressed with Mandy and feel like our boys didn’t even want to come back home to us because they had so much fun with her! She hiked them every day, she treated them with love all day long! We loved that we got pictures every day and were reassured that they were doing ok 24/7. We won’t be using any other rover sitter again because Mandy is the best!”

About: I’ve taken care of animals since birth and till death. I’ve been around pets my whole life and know the do’s and don’t’s of pet care. I have a part time job but if I accepted your boarding request I would be home the entire time. You will never have to worry about a lack of attention and care from me. My pets get along with others and are crate trained. Your pets would be treated like a member of the family. We could work on training as well.
“Kimberly was really great with Sampson. It was his first time staying with someone that wasn't family. The pictures she sent were wonderful. I will use Kimberly for any future stays Sampson may need.”

“Keana was a wonderful host, she sent pictures daily and kept me informed on how my dog was doing. She also allowed time for my dog to play with hers. I would use her again and recommend her to anyone looking for a dog sitter!”

“Bruce was amazing! Very accommodating and quick to respond. He also sent pictures and videos of our pups which we appreciated! Will definitely be booking with Bruce again in the future! 🐶”

“Excellent care. Very quick on responses and accommodated us on changes to schedule. Sent reassuring photos. Her dogs and our slightly nervous dog got along great. We will definitely look to her again for help and would strongly recommend her to others.”

About: I’ve cared for dogs for several years and have been trusted with family and friends dog care needs. I have taken a training course as well if training is desired. I’m a stay at home mom available to do watch during the day or boarding, including on the weekends. I love dogs and creating a fun, safe environment for all our dog friends. I have a full fenced yard and one medium sized, friendly dog to keep your fur baby company. There is planet of shade, water fun, and toys as well! My dog is fully vaccinated.
“A Mary Poppins in every way. Your pooch will have room to play and she even had a dryer in her garage for those wet and muddy play days. She was on time and adaptable. Will definitely use again. Shadow loves her family and her and I lover her.”

“I left my dogs, Biscuit and Neyland, with Grace for the weekend and had a great experience. She was amazing with updates, constantly sending photos and letting me know how they were doing. Even when she had any small concern, she communicated clearly and worked with me to do what was best for my dogs. Biscuit and Neyland seemed to have a great time playing with other dogs and cuddling with humans. I highly recommend her!”

“Phineas stayed overnight at Bianca‘s and he had so much fun. I don’t think he even knew I was gone. He loved Bianca and her family and was able to play with other dogs. The set up was perfect- a fully fenced and escape proof yard. Bianca sent cute pics and videos put me as a dog mom at ease. I will definitely be using Bianca again.”

“Ashley was amazing! This was my first time using Rover and she helped me feel comfortable. She sent tons of pics and updates while I was gone so I knew how my dog Wally was doing. She was also very accommodating to the timeframes I needed for drop off and pick up. Will definitely be using Ashley again!”

“Kayla took our Boon on short notice over the holidays, after another provider cancelled due to an emergency. So responsive and accommodating!! Boon came home happy and healthy! We loved getting pictures and seeing he was well taken care of.”

About: Your dog will receive so much love and attention during their stay. With Mom and Dad home throughout the day, your pup will have consistent companionship and supervision—not just a place to stay. We also have 3 boys at home that love all things dogs! (Ages 14-17) We tailor your dog's stay to their energy level, whether that means trail walks, runs, playtime, fetch in our large fenced yard, or simply relaxing and soaking up attention. Meals are prepared according to your instructions so your dog’s routine stays as familiar as possible. Our family has a calm, friendly 70-pound Labradoodle who loves having canine visitors. He is easygoing, non-dominant, and does not have territorial issues. We know getting ready to leave town can be hectic, so we are also happy to help with local pickup before your trip or drop-off at your home after your dog’s stay. We always have one or two adults are home throughout the day. One works from home, and Mom is also here to provide supervision, companionship, potty breaks, and plenty of attention. The only regular exception may be while we attend church, and we will always make sure your pup is comfortable, secure, and settled before we leave. Pictures and update texts will be sent daily! Your dog will enjoy a fully fenced yard with plenty of room to run, play, and explore, along with lots of toys to keep them entertained. We also have a dog door for pups who are used to moving freely between the house and yard. Our two 14-year-old boys are true dog lovers and happily help with playtime, attention, and care. We only care for one guest dog at a time, so your pup receives personalized attention and is treated like part of our family. Everyone in our home has experience with dogs of different sizes, personalities, and energy levels. We understand when a dog wants affection, when they want to play, and when they simply need a little space to relax.
“Kylee was amazing with our little Daisy! It was my first time ever leaving her with someone other than family and she made me feel super comfortable. She responded right away and was super good about checking in. Will definitely be contacting her to watch our pup again!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in UT ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
