“I really appreciate Bianca's care for my puppy. My puppy gets excited to see her and I just know she's in good care and always has a fun time. Bianca is very kind and accommodating and leaves little treats in my puppy's bag when I pick her up, which is a very kind additional gesture.”

“Ashley was amazing! She sent updates and photos throughout the day the whole time we were gone and was very accommodating with Olivia’s special needs as an old dog. I would absolutely book with her again!!”

“Pazely was so great to work with. I would recommend her services to others. She sent videos and pics of my pup Callie. She went above and beyond in making Callie feel safe and comfortable around her bigger dogs. Thank you!”

“Anna took my 70 pound puppy in and was amazing!! Her communication was great and she made sure I knew what was appending at all times! I will absolutely be rebooking her for any of my future needs!!!”

“Kyle was great! We got pictures and videos of Bubba during his stay. He had other dogs to play with and came back home all tuckered out from all of the fun he had! We will definitely be reaching out to Kyle again in the future. 🙂”

“My high energy/anxiety border doodle absolutely loves her! Danii made sure that she ate every day which was our main concern as she has had problems eating when she’s stressed in the past. She gave her lots of puzzles, sent us videos of her playing in the leaves and even slept with her at night so she wouldn’t be lonely. We couldn’t be happier and will definitely be bringing our dog back!”

“They are amazing. Super last minute. But took Zoey with open arms. They kept me updated the whole time with quick responses. I’ll definitely be using them every time I take a trip. My Zoey was even happy.”

“Shelly was great! She has a nice, clean home with a beautiful yard. She was great at communication and it was easy to schedule drop-off and pick-up times. It’s clear that she loves pets, and I didn’t worry at all when I left my dog in her care! I’ll definitely take my dog to her again!”

“Mandy provided excellent care for our pup Georgie. Our pup became part of her family! With daily walks and a backyard to run around, Georgie felt right at home. Mandy shows love, gives affection, provided daily updates with pictures and careful consideration to our dog’s needs. I cannot recommend Mandy enough!”

“Crowe and Taylor are amazing and take such good care of our pup! We love the pictures, videos & updates they send us. We always know our pup is well loved, having the best time & taken care of.”

“Kayla took our Boon on short notice over the holidays, after another provider cancelled due to an emergency. So responsive and accommodating!! Boon came home happy and healthy! We loved getting pictures and seeing he was well taken care of.”

About: I’ve taken care of animals since birth and till death. I’ve been around pets my whole life and know the do’s and don’t’s of pet care. I have a part time job but if I accepted your boarding request I would be home the entire time. You will never have to worry about a lack of attention and care from me. My pets get along with others and are crate trained. Your pets would be treated like a member of the family. We could work on training as well.
“Phoebe was fantastic! She was flexible with the pick up and drop off time. Leica was well taken care of and happy when we picked her up. It was a wonderful experience. We plan on using her again soon. Thank you! 🙏🏻”

“Alissa was FANTASTIC! She was friendly, thorough, and put us right at ease. She sent lots of pics and our dogs were having so much fun. Most important to me, she let me know about some previously unknown behaviors our dogs exhibited around new animals. This demonstrated to me that she really cared about our dogs, not just the booking. She is top notch!!”

“Marina was our saving grace! We had to get a new sitter while already out of state! Rover support took over and booked her for us! Very grateful for her and taking care of Yeti on such short notice!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in UT ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
