Safety, trust & environment
Tia, my wife, and I prioritize creating a safe, secure, and stress-free environment for your pets while you're away. In the effort of creating this environment for your pups and our own, we are no longer accepting male dogs, neutered or un-neutered, because Fifi is not yet spayed. Our little old lady, Ruby, had a traumatic incident with a Husky which caused Ruby to lose her eye, so we are also not accepting Huskies. Before we accept a boarding or daycare request, we require at least one meet and greet to see how our pups get along. If the request is for boarding for more than three nights, we will also require a (free) daycare visit so that we can get to know your pup without their parents around as we have found pups act very differently when their parents are gone. We follow any specific instructions you provide, ensuring their routine and comfort are maintained. We take extra care to keep their living space clean and safe, and we always ensure they have plenty of attention, playtime, and exercise. Building trust is key, and we are always available for updates and communication, so you can rest easy knowing your pet is in loving hands.

Information Cody D. would like to know about your pet
It's important for us to know ahead of time if your dog has any special needs, behaviors, or medical conditions so we can provide the best care possible. While we're well-versed in handling medical issues, understanding your dog’s specific needs, preferences, or any behavior quirks will help us ensure they’re comfortable, safe, and happy during their time with our family. Feel free to share any information that will help us tailor my care to your dog’s unique requirements. All dogs must be up to date on vaccinations.
A typical day
A typical day with your dog would include a balanced mix of fun activities and relaxation. In the morning, we’d start with some fresh air and stretch their legs in our backyard which spans over a fully fenced acre. Afterward, we could enjoy a game of fetch or some light playtime, depending on your dog’s energy level. If your dog enjoys socializing, we can spend time interacting with other dogs or explore different environments to keep things exciting. Throughout the day, there would be plenty of opportunities for rest and relaxation. We'll make sure your dog has a comfortable space to settle down and enjoy some quiet time. If they’re a cuddle bug, we'll be happy to give them all the love and attention they crave. Your dog will have access to a dog door that they may use freely during the day which we have found is a hit with the more active pups. Whether it’s some mental stimulation with interactive toys or simply enjoying a calm moment together, the day will be full of activities tailored to your dog’s personality and needs.

Pet care experience
With years of experience caring for dogs of all sizes, from playful puppies to calm seniors, Tia, my wife, and I go above and beyond to provide exceptional care. My spouse and I treat our pets like family, ensuring they receive personalized attention, homemade food, and regular health maintenance. I have had the privilege of caring for several senior dogs until their end of life, and have also cared for friends' and family's dogs, offering daycare services, training assistance, and helping with transitions as they grow. Our experience extends to managing complex medical situations as well. We cared for our Corgi, Link, when he had meningoencephalitis, administering saline injections under the skin, and we nursed my Labrador, Chief, through septic arthritis. After Chief lost his front leg due to the septic arthritis infection, we helped him recover by feeding him through a tube, administering medications, bandaging wounds, and helping him relearn how to walk. Additionally, we cared for my dog Ruby, who lost an eye in an unprovoked dog attack, guiding her recovery with surgery, wound care, and medication. Whether it's a playful puppy, senior dog, or a dog with special needs, we tailor my care to meet each pet’s unique requirements, ensuring they feel loved and comfortable while you're away.
