I’ve had personal and professional experience with many breeds of dogs, cats, and other types of animals! I have experience taking care of my dog Daisy’s newborn puppies for months, as well as taking care of a neighbor’s litter of puppies for a week while the family was away. Getting their specific needs met is my top priority! I have plenty of time every day to check on your pets, play with them, walk with them, and chill with them. I have availability on Mondays-Sundays for check-ins and walks. I can check on your pets or take them for a walk basically anytime in the morning, afternoon or evening. I do not walk puppies under 1 year old unless they have all of their vaccines up to date. Please message me with any specific questions! When available for overnight pet sitting/longer stays. I would come to your home to patiently greet your pets. I’d pay special attention to how much your pets are eating and drinking. I’ll follow specific instructions from any client as to what they want me to do to care for their pets. If there’s no specific instructions, no worries! I’ll make sure they get playtime, relaxing time, and walks if that’s what your pets like. I can also give baths depending on the temperament of your animals because I want everyone involved to be safe and comfortable. Each time before I leave a client’s home, I clean up their pet’s potty places and make sure the pets are all set for their owner’s arrival.

About: I have loved animals my whole life and have been pet sitting for a year now! I don’t ask for very much money as I am mostly doing this to spend time with animals (but money would be nice) I am free whenever! I am not attending college currently so I have all the time in the world! Shayla (and partner Derek) are AMAZING! We are traveling with 2 adult Great Danes ... and needed "housesitting" in our RV so that we could attend planned events for long hours at a time with no worries about our fur babies. I knew from Shayla's meet/greet video that she would be perfect for our boys - and she absolutely was! One of our boys is very shy and withdrawn - especially with strangers. While Chip did not go to Shayla immediate - as his FOMO brother certainly did - he was warming up within the first few hours. Then on day 2, he approached her as she entered. And on day three, he was cuddling with her. That was HUGE progress for Chip. He sensed that Shayla was safe and loving, and he was absolutely right. Derek joined Shayla with our boys when his schedule allowed, so they were able to safely take both boys to the dog park for good stretching. I am so grateful that we found Shayla - and that she accepted this long weekend with our boys. I cannot recommend Shayla enough. She exudes warmth and loving concern for dogs and their humans. If you are local to Layton, Utah, or just passing through -as we did - you can absolutely trust Shayla to care for your fur-babies as her own.
Lexi was absolutely wonderful to work with! She watched my two dogs Clyde and Rosie for five days. Clyde and Rosie were well taken care of and the house was spotless upon our return! She was communicative and sent daily photos of the pups. Also huge shoutout because she was able to watch them on short notice and was even able to meet for a meet and greet! It is a wonderful feeling being able to leave your fur babies in good hands while out of town. I could not recommend Lexi more!
Tammy and Jeff are genuinely kind people and they care about others and their pets. They saved us while we were out of town and our basement flooded. They were quick to bring over fans and get it dried out…all while keeping our very needy dog happy. They are the best!!

Allison was great! She stayed at our house and watched our dog and cats. She was very communicative and sent tons of pictures. Our cats had a great time playing and enjoying the snuggles! Our doggo loved all of the scratches and had zero complaints to report. Definitely will use her again! The house and kiddos were all very well taken care of while we were away.
Anna is so wonderful. She's sweet, funny and really really good with our boy. He immediately loved her and feels really safe (he is sometimes very shy around strangers). She also went above and beyond to take care of him and his fear quirks, like realizing he didn't really want to drink inside of the house today and taking his water bowl outside. I love how she noticed what he needed. Anna's communication is also amazing, we got a bunch of updates and photos while we were away and she was hanging out with him, and I really appreciate that. We will definitely ask her to pup sit again and highly recommend her.
Kaylee took excellent care of our fur family. We got photos for the first couple of days of our trip. When we got home, all pets were in good spirits and had clearly been well cared for. The house was also exactly as we had left it. We were so grateful for the care she took!
I appreciated the fact Mackenzie was able to do this at the last minute, as I was planning a "working vacation" and was unable to contact a friend to do this as well as having others on Rover.com not able or interested. Primarily to stay overnight with my two cats, who did enjoy her company, she did all I asked of her.
