About: I’ve taken care of animals since birth and till death. I’ve been around pets my whole life and know the do’s and don’t’s of pet care. I have a part time job but if I accepted your boarding request I would be home the entire time. You will never have to worry about a lack of attention and care from me. My pets get along with others and are crate trained. Your pets would be treated like a member of the family. We could work on training as well.

We love Ryan and Delilah! We have been so lucky to have them as dog walkers and house sitters. Ryan sends us the best videos and he is one of the only dog walkers we have had that likes to play with our pup. They always leave our house spotless and we trust them 100%! Wonderful people, highly highly recommended!!

About: I grow up my whole life with dogs. My babysitter was 2 beautiful Doberman growing up. I know dogs can be different same as all of us people, but with the right care and treatment they can let you lead and show their love, respect, and be your best friend. I had many different dogs since they were puppies until it was time for them to go to heaven. And all of them I remember with so much love and gratitude. They’re the best creatures in this planet. And I will be more than pleased if you let me watch your pets because I know how important they are and they need the attention and love even in those situations that we won’t be home so if you’re going on vacation, small trip, etc. I will make sure your dog is being taking care, feed, had enough walks, and be comfortable being here at home ready for bed, and if they have any special care as medicine or something like that I’m more than happy to have them on track until you can come back from vacation. Please reach out to me if you have any questions or concerns in case this small summary didn’t respond any of your questions. I’m working with a very flexible schedule. I can make anything to work around your dog needs or special care. Any drop of around 4-5PM any day of the week. Thank you. I do have currently 1 friendly golden doodle. She’s a girl and love to play and make friends. She love kids and other dogs as well. She will keep your fur babies happy and busy playing and taking naps together.

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life. I love them all. My recent experience (own dogs) has been with senior dogs. The seniors are so sweet, so loving, and just need me more. Puppies are so much fun, and so energetic! Love playing with them. And that puppy breath…one of my all time favorites! If you give me the opportunity to spend time with your fur baby, I’ll follow through. No doubts. If I have something come up, work issue, whatever, I have built in my backup plan. My retired police officer husband and home from the Marine Corps son, are always willing to help when needed. I am currently working full-time, however, covid blessed me with working from home 1/2-3/4ths of the time. I’m usually in the at-work office Monday and Wednesday mornings only, at the home office the rest of the time. When I’m not home, for a random reason in the evening, my husband or grown, college student son are home. Our single family home is fully fenced, has a doggie door to the backyard, which is always accessible. My own doggo’s enjoy cuddling on our bed to sleep, but we also have dog beds in every room of the house. So, depending on what you want for your fur-baby works for me.

About: I’ve taken care of animals ever since I was 8. It first started when my neighbors needed a dog sitter. I also have taken care of my neighbors bunnies. I love animals and so I have jumped at any opportunity to get to be around them! I also nannied a few kids and I ended up dog sitting their dogs and cats as well! One of them had an English wolfhound which is one of the biggest dog breeds! I have also taken care of a really old cat who I had to feed with a syringe because of its poor health. I grew up with a lot of pets in the house, which I also take care of. I have 3 dogs 2 cats and 4 chickens. If any of my dogs cats or chickens have any problems, my parents always send me to take care of them. I want to be a veterinarian so I have also job shadowed a few vets, so I have decent knowledge of animals. I am currently on summer break, so I am pretty much available whenever! I am very flexible and willing to help whenever! I will most likely plan my day around this job. I pay attention to the pets and I make sure they have everything they need. I am really good ad reading body language for pets because I grew up around a lot of pets, I know when they want food, attention, or even to go potty!

About: I've been surrounded by animals my entire life, and caring for them has always been one of the greatest joys in my life. Growing up around a farm taught me that every animal has its own unique personality, needs, and way of communicating. To me, pets are family, and I care for them with the same love, patience, and respect that I would my own. I'm attentive, reliable, and genuinely enjoy getting to know each animal's routine and personality. I have a strong intuition when it comes to animal behavior and always strive to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their families are away. Whether that means keeping up with exercise, medications, special diets, playtime, or simply providing a calm, reassuring presence, I'm committed to giving every pet the highest level of care. My goal is for you to have complete peace of mind, knowing your beloved companion is in caring, capable hands. I'm self-employed and work part-time in several different roles, which gives me a very flexible schedule. I can easily plan my work around house sitting, dog walks, drop-in visits, and pet care to make sure your pets receive the time, attention, and consistency they deserve. My flexibility allows me to accommodate a variety of schedules and provide dependable, attentive care while you're away. I provide personalized, in-home care based on each pet's unique needs and your preferences. I offer overnight house sitting, dog walking, drop-in visits, feeding, fresh water, medications, litter box cleaning, exercise, playtime, and lots of love and attention. Not only do I care for cats and dogs, but I'm also happy to help care for other household pets according to your instructions. I believe in leaving your home just as I found it—or even a little better. I'm happy to help with light household tasks while you're away, and I can provide additional services, such as basic grooming, by request. My goal is to make your time away as stress-free as possible by giving your pets exceptional care and treating both your home and your animals with the same respect I would my own.

About: I’ve cared for dogs my entire life—from growing up with family pets to raising two of my own as an adult. Being around dogs comes naturally to me, and I’m attentive to their individual needs, routines, and personalities. Your pup will have plenty of room to relax and play, with a spacious yard and a comfortable home environment designed to help them feel safe, happy, and at ease while you’re away. I am a stay at home mom and aside from grocery runs or errands, I am always home. I make the perfect pet sitter because I have the time and space to keep your pet comfortable and happy while you are away. I have a fully fenced yard (two different sections) and two friendly King Charles cavalier dogs that are very chill but also love to play. I also have two friendly cats that do their own thing and are able to hide away in areas dogs can’t access. I have lots of space to keep all animals separate or together whichever your animal needs. I have a large crate in the main living area if your pup feels safe in a crate. I will also put my animals in a different room if that is what your pet needs. Your pets comfort and happiness is my priority!

This is my first time using Rover and I was nervous about hiring someone I don’t know to help me look after my fur-kiddo. I did a meet & greet and Isela helped allay my fears. She was punctual for both the M&G and the dog walk and answered all of my questions and has been great with communication. I also enjoyed the detailed Rover card about how the walk went with accompanying photos. I will be re-booking with Isela!

About: I have experience working on a ranch and having animals in my home. I am a big believer that animals deserve to be taken care of and shown love. Whatever your pets needs, I'm happy to accommodate so they get the care they deserve! I am looking for a side gig and my schedule is extremely flexible. My goal is to accommodate your timing needs as much as possible. Willing to negotiate different hours. Since your pet will be staying at your home, you know you can trust their environment. I plan to take pictures every time I interact with your pet to send to you (if you'd like of course) so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is being loved.

About: I am returning to Rover! I moved to UT in late 2024. I have since gotten married, started work, and established my life here, so it’s time to start pet sitting again! I have taken care of dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes since I was ten years old. For me, I really just love hanging out with animals and I am so glad that using Rover allows me to do just that! I will spend time playing, feeding, walking, and chilling with your pet! I am very comfortable with medication administration, special needs pets, and have a genuiene ability to connect with all dogs and cats. I really don't do this for money, I do this because I know how stressful it is to leave your pets with someone, and I want to make sure people get the care that I would want my own pets to receive! I work in Farmington from 8 AM- 5:00 PM Monday- Friday. During the week, it would be best for me to be with a dog who can be alone for at least 4 hours so I can go to work, let them out/ hang out during my lunch break, and then go back to work. Once I am off work I will not go anywhere. Also, my weekends are completely free, but I am happy to do stays during the week as long as you’re comfortable with my work schedule/ my going to work during the day. I Would love to hang out with your pet and provide them top notch care! I make sure to pay special attention to each pet I take care of, making sure they feel loved and safe when they are around me. I like to make sure that they get their exercise in as well! Not all pets need the same things. With my dogs, one just needs someone to sit with but the other needs someone to run around with. All dogs are unique so its important to me that I provide unique care based on their needs. Whether that is extra walks, extra pets, extra cuddles, or playing music during the day!

Kaylee is a great dog walker and house-sitter. She really cares about our dogs and wants to understand their individual personalities. My two dogs love her so much. She cared for our dogs while we were gone for a week. She followed instructions and gave them lots of attention. Kaylee is a great communicator, and has a flexible schedule. • 94% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 99% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 97% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
