There are many sitters on Rover, but not many that take looking after your pets as seriously as I will. I send tons of pics and videos, spend extra time with my new friends when I can, and go above and beyond for you and your pets by getting your mail, watering plants, and making sure to check in frequently. You can pay $9 for the bare minimum, or you can choose a sitter like me, who will treat your little one and your home like my own! I think my reviews speak for themselves. I'm proud to be one of the top sitters on this site! 🐶 When I started sitting on Rover in October of 2022 I had no idea my life was about to change. Friends and family members I sat for had been telling me for years I should get on the site and turn my passion for animals into a side hustle. When life finally granted me the extra time to try it out, and I got my first gig walking a new furry friend 4 days a week I couldn't be more thrilled. Before I knew it, my passion project became a full time career. Pet sitting gives me more fulfillment and happiness in life than any other job I've had, and I take pride in being one of the top pet sitters in your area. I put a lot of love and care into what I do, and because this is my full time job I can promise to be there for your fur babies. They will be my number one priority during our booking, not an afterthought after I get off of a long, stressful day of work. I want you to feel comfortable and assured leaving your precious pets in my care while you are away, and will offer the quality time and attention your pets deserve. 😸 Since starting on Rover I have enjoyed learning about dog psychology and researching the different breeds of dogs I sit for. I have even had the chance to get to know many cats, fish, a bird and a turtle! My goal is to go from animal lover to animal expert, and I continue to learn more with each booking. I have experience in giving oral and injected medication, administering special diets, over-night stays, senior pets and puppies, and bathing pets. Is your pet in need of something special? Desiree is now officially part of the family! She is the only pup sitter we call and is absolutely the best! She has watched all of our dogs at one time or another, sadly we only have one, but we think that Aurora loves Desiree more than us sometimes. :)

Desiree is so sweet with my dogs! They can be overly excited and she is patient with them. She cares about their routine and individual needs. It’s comforting to have someone like Desiree caring for our dogs!
Desiree does a great job for us looking after our dogs. 2 have health issues that require several medications. One has a colon issue that requires you to clean her up after she goes. It takes a special person to willingly do that for the dog. We have no worries when we go away; we know the dogs will be well taken care of.
Desi is such a kind, loving sitter to our dogs. Jax and Molly enjoy their time with her and she starts them as if they are her own. Jax is slow to warm to people and he took to her right away and continues to enjoy her visits. She is attentive and alway sends us updates on our pups when we are away at work.

Because I am your neighborhood's full time pet sitter, I am available to be there for your precious pets throughout the day and night, whenever you need me. 🐈
