About: Hi, I’m Summer! I just moved to Utah from Florida and have lived with and cared for dogs my whole life. I have experience with small and large breeds, as well as puppies and senior dogs. In college, I looked after my roommate’s labradoodle solo for about three months, handling walks, feedings, and plenty of playtime and cuddles. Now that I’m getting to know Utah and spending more time outdoors, I’d love some furry company along the way! I truly love dogs and treat every one like family. Whether your pup loves adventures, playtime, or cozy naps, I’ll make sure they feel happy, safe, and cared for. My schedule is really flexible right now since I’m not currently working, so I have plenty of time to spend with your pup! I’m usually around during the week for walks or drop-ins. I always treat every home and pet with the same care and respect I’d want for my own. I keep a close eye on safety during walks, double-check doors and gates, and follow your pet’s routine so they feel comfortable and happy. I’ll also keep you updated with messages and pictures so you always know your dog is safe and cared for.

About: I’ve taken care of animals since birth and till death. I’ve been around pets my whole life and know the do’s and don’t’s of pet care. I have a part time job but if I accepted your boarding request I would be home the entire time. You will never have to worry about a lack of attention and care from me. My pets get along with others and are crate trained. Your pets would be treated like a member of the family. We could work on training as well.

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life. I love them all. My recent experience (own dogs) has been with senior dogs. The seniors are so sweet, so loving, and just need me more. Puppies are so much fun, and so energetic! Love playing with them. And that puppy breath…one of my all time favorites! If you give me the opportunity to spend time with your fur baby, I’ll follow through. No doubts. If I have something come up, work issue, whatever, I have built in my backup plan. My retired police officer husband and home from the Marine Corps son, are always willing to help when needed. I am currently working full-time, however, covid blessed me with working from home 1/2-3/4ths of the time. I’m usually in the at-work office Monday and Wednesday mornings only, at the home office the rest of the time. When I’m not home, for a random reason in the evening, my husband or grown, college student son are home. Our single family home is fully fenced, has a doggie door to the backyard, which is always accessible. My own doggo’s enjoy cuddling on our bed to sleep, but we also have dog beds in every room of the house. So, depending on what you want for your fur-baby works for me.

About: I've owned and taken care of dogs since I was young. Have experience with small breeds and large breeds. Dealt with multiple health conditions, and have experience with training. I'm currently working full time but my job is every other week during the the night. I'll have plenty of time during the time while you're at work to play with your pups or check in on your kitties. I have a fully fenced in backyard that is 6ft. I have two very friendly pups, if personalities don't mesh I can drop my pups at my parents down the road. I can also create your pup if needed in a very large breed create.

About: I have experience working on a ranch and having animals in my home. I am a big believer that animals deserve to be taken care of and shown love. Whatever your pets needs, I'm happy to accommodate so they get the care they deserve! I am looking for a side gig and my schedule is extremely flexible. My goal is to accommodate your timing needs as much as possible. Willing to negotiate different hours. Since your pet will be staying at your home, you know you can trust their environment. I plan to take pictures every time I interact with your pet to send to you (if you'd like of course) so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is being loved.

About: I’ve taken care of animals ever since I was 8. It first started when my neighbors needed a dog sitter. I also have taken care of my neighbors bunnies. I love animals and so I have jumped at any opportunity to get to be around them! I also nannied a few kids and I ended up dog sitting their dogs and cats as well! One of them had an English wolfhound which is one of the biggest dog breeds! I have also taken care of a really old cat who I had to feed with a syringe because of its poor health. I grew up with a lot of pets in the house, which I also take care of. I have 3 dogs 2 cats and 4 chickens. If any of my dogs cats or chickens have any problems, my parents always send me to take care of them. I want to be a veterinarian so I have also job shadowed a few vets, so I have decent knowledge of animals. I am currently on summer break, so I am pretty much available whenever! I am very flexible and willing to help whenever! I will most likely plan my day around this job. I pay attention to the pets and I make sure they have everything they need. I am really good ad reading body language for pets because I grew up around a lot of pets, I know when they want food, attention, or even to go potty!

Meet & greets are very important for me to provide the right care for your pet. For every new client, I like to go over house rules and boundaries, making notes along the way. It’s very helpful for me to know your pet’s routines, and any dietary preferences or restrictions, as well as any tips or tricks for working with your dog’s unique personality.

About: My parents show dogs for fun as a hobby and because of that I’ve learned a lot in regards to dog pet care. I’ve been on Rover specifically for 3 years now caring for dogs and cats. I’m capable of taking care of both young and senior dogs. I can set your mind at ease that I’ve been caring and helping out with animals my whole life. I know signs of when a dog isn’t acting themselves even after just one day of being with them so I can take the next steps necessary for their well being and safety. The same goes for cats! I don’t allow for dogs from other households to be booked while I take care of yours so you can rest assured your families dog/s will be the only one in my care.

About: I grew up watching my neighbors dogs, cats and ferrets. I fed, played, went on walks and kept them company. I’ve been a dog owner for 5 years. My favorite thing to do is go mountain biking with both of my dogs. My work schedule is flexible as it’s from 7am-3pm or 3pm-8pm Mon-Fri and rotating weekends. Let me know what works best for you and your fur buddy! At my home I have 2 dogs whom are friendly with other dogs. I have a fenced patio where your fur friend can use 24/7 while I’m in the house. I can provide more potty breaks in the front yard if need be. I would go on walks 30 min - 1 hour. If feeling more adventurous with your consent, I’d teach and go on bike rides through the neighborhood as I do with my own dogs. Your fur friend would be allowed on my furniture unless the rules at your home is to not let them on, I would apply the same rule. I have a XL crate if need be. At your home I would follow any rules you have with them and I’d come up with a game plan with you about feeding, and outdoor activities.

About: From 2017 to 2019 I did in-home dog and drop by cat sitting through word of mouth. Since 2019 I have been using Rover. I have cared for various retreivers, hounds, labs, and husky-mixes. I have a strict policy of not taking dogs off leash. I am happy to provide daily exercise by walking the neighborhood, going to the park, or hiking a trail. I have open availability at this time. I am available almost every day of the week and can accommodate most scheduling needs. Just let me know what works best for you! Honestly owner preferences and dog/cat needs dictate how I will care for your pet. Is your cat shy of people? I can respect their boundaries. Is your dog high energy? A nice hike sounds great!

I know how to feed, walk, bathe, and most importantly, entertain them! I used to live in a house where I was a full-time dog nanny to a Husky and Dalmatian while their owners were away at work.
