About: Hi, my name is Tessa, and I'm a passionate dog lover. I've been around dogs my whole life and have always had a special connection with them. As a dog sitter, my top priority is to provide a safe and loving environment for your pet while you're away. I understand how stressful it can be to leave your dog behind, which is why I strive to make the experience as stress-free as possible for both you and your dog. I’m happy to accommodate any special requests or needs your dog may have, whether it's administering medication, sticking to a strict feeding schedule, etc. I am currently available for boarding on most week days and weekends to give your dog all the attention they deserve. My availability calendar is up to date. I take the safety of animals very seriously and have taken every step to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for your dog including: - Secure fences and gates - non-toxic plants - Cleaning supplies and other chemicals safely locked away I own a social dog who loves to meet new friends and run around our big, fenced yard. If your dog prefers not to be around other dogs, we can separate them in another section of the house.
“I needed a very last minute dog walker to stop in for my pup, and Cydnee responded super quickly agreeing to set up a meet and greet! My dog can be weary of strangers walking into our house, but she warmed up very quickly to Cydnee. She sent me pictures of my pup during the walk and I had peace of mind that she was in good hands! Will definitely be using Cydnee in the future!”

About: I have lifelong experience caring for a wide range of animals, including cats, dogs, rabbits, lizards, turtles, hamsters, mice, and rats. Because of this, I’m comfortable adapting to different care routines, energy levels, and personalities — from active pets who need structured play and exercise to quieter animals who thrive with calm, consistent care. I’m reliable, detail-oriented, and respectful of each pet’s individual needs, including feeding schedules, enrichment, and basic health monitoring. I’m also comfortable following specific care instructions to ensure pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for in their own environment while their owners are away. I work from home with a very flexible schedule so I can make most any sitting/walking times work with my schedule. I volunteer to care for rescue cats every Sunday at Petco, usually around noon. I've been known to spend hours at a home when I am cat-sitting for friends to ensure their pet gets plenty of attention while they're away. I'm also a nail-trimming pro and would be happy to try (at least) trimming your cat's nails, if asked. I have had senior cats of my own that required medication, I've given pills, powders, eye drops, and injections before.
“Hailee is so wonderful! She’s helped me out when I was in a pickle multiple times and my dog loves her. She’s easy going, great with pets, and has great communication:). Thanks Hailee!”

“Amy was a very gracious and understanding dog walker willing to fit in at the very last minute. I was on a road-trip with my family and my neighbor could only take them out back not walk them. I have a 75 lb black lab mix and a 65 lb red heeler mix both of which are very strong. She took them both for a walk in stride and my neighbor told me she was so surely nice. For sure a good choice when you’re in a pinch and need to let your fur kids get some exercise.”

“Becky was fantastic. She has a very outgoing personality and is always smiling. My dog Goldie knows when she is coming over and gets so excited to see her and loves her walks with Becky. Becky is always on time for her appointments and truly loves pets. I absolutely recommend her.”

“Cari is our absolute favorite sitter for our Holly dog. She is flexible, reliable, kind and generous with love and affection. Holly always comes back home from Cari hikes exhausted and happy!”

About: I provide calm, attentive, and reliable pet care tailored to each animal’s needs. I had my own dog for 13 years, who passed away last year, giving me deep understanding of lifelong care and companionship. I’ve also been a dog foster and worked with multiple rescue groups, caring for dogs with a wide range of temperaments, including shy, anxious, and high-energy personalities. In addition, I have extensive pet sitting experience with all kinds of animals. I’m comfortable with daily routines, walks, playtime, and basic medications, and I bring patience, presence, and genuine care to every pet I look after. Pet care fits naturally into my routine because I have a flexible work schedule that allows me to prioritize visits, walks, and check-ins throughout the day. I’m able to adjust my availability as needed, which helps me be reliable for both last-minute and recurring bookings. I structure my week around my commitments so I can give each pet consistent, attentive care without feeling rushed. This flexibility allows me to provide dependable support and maintain a calm, present energy with every animal I care for. I prioritize safety, trust, and a calm environment in every pet care situation. In a client’s home, I respect their space and follow all instructions closely to keep the pet’s routine consistent and stress-free. I make sure doors, gates, and leashes are secure at all times and never take risks during walks or outdoor time. I keep a close eye on behavior, appetite, and energy levels so I can quickly notice if something feels off. I also maintain cleanliness in feeding areas and litter boxes, and ensure pets always have fresh water and a comfortable environment. My goal is to create a safe, grounded presence so pets feel secure, cared for, and at ease while their owners are away.
About: I’ve been caring for dogs for 13 years and genuinely love getting to know each pet’s unique personality. I understand how important it is for pet parents to know their furry family members are safe, happy, and well cared for while they’re away. I’m patient, dependable, and attentive to each dog’s individual needs, whether that means going for walks, playing, sticking to a feeding schedule, administering basic medications if needed, or simply providing companionship and plenty of affection. I also understand that some dogs need extra time to warm up, while others have lots of energy and love to play. My goal is to make every pet feel comfortable, loved, and cared for as if they were my own. I believe in keeping pet parents updated with photos and messages so they can have peace of mind while they’re away. I’m currently looking for job so my week is free for anyone who needs their furry little critters to look after them while you are away! Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, including feeding schedules, exercise needs, medications (if applicable), and any special instructions you provide. When caring for pets in your home, I treat both your home and your pet with the utmost respect. I’ll follow your instructions carefully, keep your home clean and secure, make sure your pet has fresh water, regular potty breaks, exercise, playtime, and lots of attention. I’ll also provide updates with photos and messages so you can feel confident your pet is doing well. I understand that every pet is different, so I adapt my care to their personality and needs, whether they enjoy active play, quiet companionship, or extra patience while they settle in.
About: I have grown up with pets, mainly dogs, but one cat for bout about five years (RIP, Blue). I enjoy spending time around pets, they help relax me and I enjoy making sure they get exercise as well! As of now I have a flexible job that allows me to be available the majority of the day! I am flexible and amenable to what the pet needs! Our pet gets at least 1 walk a day, at LEAST one treat, and Car rides whenever she'll come with us! She is our princess and I plan to treat your pets the same way! With your permission, of course.
About: As a life-long pet owner, lover, and caretaker, I am well-equipped to take in your furry friends and passionate about giving them a warm, safe place to stay (and play). I’ve had pets since I was a child — some of my fondest memories involve wet kisses and long, sniff-filled walks around the neighborhood. In addition to providing my family pets with basic care and love, I’ve watched and cared for dogs in my community since I was a tween. Neighbors enlisted my help to walk, feed, and check in on their pets while away, and I happily obliged any time I could. I’ve also cared for my own pup (a Golden Retriever) since I was 18, allowing me to adapt and grow with my dog over many years, homes, and chapters of life. Additionally, I lived with an experienced dog trainer for nearly five years, learning about dog behavior, care, training, and safety. During this time, I interacted (at home and in training classes) with dozens of breeds each with unique temperaments. I’ve lived with multiple dogs at once, and have experience with reactive pups who need more space and patience than others. Long story long, I am but a person who loves animals, is passionate about pet care and wellness, and wants to keep your pets safe and sound while away from their human families :) I currently work from home as a freelance content creator and musician. Most of my time spent away from home is flexible and lasts (at most) 5 hours (with a few exceptions). I enjoy spending time with dogs, and try to be home as often as possible when watching pets to ensure they are comfortable and safe. I have a large, fenced yard with plenty of room to explore, sniff, and play! I have one 13 year old dog — a sweet, social, pet-friendly Golden Retriever — to keep your pup company. His name is Simba, he loves to say hi and will engage if your pup initiates, but is also very content to keep to himself and takes cues and warnings well. Simba is a free roaming dog and I am happy to keep your pup out and about while I'm home and able to supervise. I also live with a cat who keeps to herself and stays confined to a dog-free room. She will not interact with your pets during their stay. For your pup's safety and mine, I prefer they are crate trained. That way, I can ensure they are safe and comfortable while I'm out. I also utilize kennels as a quiet space for dogs to decompress and recharge separate from outside distractions. However, they will be offered plenty of time outside of their crates, both indoors and outdoors. Dogs are allowed on furniture and beds in my house. However, I can enforce any off-furniture rules to maintain their routine while away from home.
About: I have been around animals my entire life and always look for the best ways I can assist them. I feel like I have a lot of experience in understanding animals body language as well as having experience with elderly, and newly born animals I am currently out of primary employment, so I have nothing but time to help assist you with your fur babies. I have availability anytime throughout the week. I will do my best to keep your animals happy and healthy while you are away, and do my best to make sure they enjoy their time with me.

Ben is great!! My dog is a rescue and can be a bit skittish around strangers especially men, but Jethro isn’t scared seems to really like Ben and enjoys his visits with him. Ben has been walking and playing with my dog during visits and really trying to get to know my dog. I appreciate everything he has done and will continue booking him for weekly visits. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
