About: Previous experience with dogs and cats at local shelters as well as Best Friends Animal Sanctuary. Knowledgd in providing care for all types of different animals. Outside of roller derby training with the local league and volunteering with the food bank, my schedule is open and available to help with your pet care needs. I have previous experience with senior pets, special needs pets, and animals with low socializing issues; however, I am not a trained nor certified trainer.
About: I have loved dogs and puppies since before I could walk. I was the main caretaker of a 4 year old dog since he was a puppy before I moved to college, and now that I’ve graduated I want to be able to care for dogs again! I absolutely love the outdoors, including going on walks or hikes and parks. I'm very energetic, hard working, and punctual! I'll try to get back as soon as I can on any sitter requests. Feel free to let me know any special requests with your dog, I'm pretty flexible.
About: I have taken care of dogs and cats for the last 10 years before getting my own pup! I love all animals, and after using Rover myself, I know how important it is to find a great caretaker who will set your mind at ease and take great care of your fur baby. I am very responsive and flexible with my schedule, and will always keep you informed. I have experience with reactive dogs, administering medication, and handling multiple animals at once. I am comfortable with dogs of all ages, sizes, and breeds and will give them the love and care they deserve as if they were my own. I have my own dog, so I am fully aware of how much time needs to be committed to their care, and will be very detail oriented with your pet! I will gladly accommodate specific walking routes, favorite toys or play times, or any special foods to treat or avoid. I have a fenced yard and am very conscious of dog interactions since my dog has some reactivity. I am always mindful of other dogs or animals on walks to make sure my dog is safe and I can redirect his attention or avoid confrontation with off leash dogs, and will show the same attentiveness with yours! For any boarding/doggy day care requests, I require that your pup be crate trained for at least 1 hour at a time comfortably.
About: I have experience with small puppies (2 months old) and older dogs, and I am super comfortable with big dogs, but I also love smaller dogs! I currently am a full-time student, so pet care is ideal for me as I have plenty of time to spend with the dog(s), but can also still get my assignments done! I am comfortable leashing dogs and walking them in safe areas, I have experience with reactive and anxious dogs, and am more than willing to do whatever eases the owner’s mind!
“Adam walked our three dogs and he was very confident with their needs and personalities. He was a great communicator and our boys enjoyed their walk with him. We will definitely use Adam again.”

About: Hi, I’m Kendall! I’ve been a passionate dog lover and caretaker for as long as I can remember. Having a wonderful family dog at my parents' house—and growing up with pups all my life—means I know firsthand that pets aren't just animals; they are cherished members of the family. I understand how important it is to find someone who will treat your fur baby with the same love, patience, and attention that you do. Why Choose Me? Lifelong Experience: From my childhood pets to our current family dog, I have a lifetime of hands-on experience managing different breeds, sizes, and personalities. Countless Sitting Jobs: I have a proven track record of reliable, trusted dog-sitting and walking experience. Whether your dog needs a gentle neighborhood stroll or specialized care while you're away, I've got it covered. Outdoor Adventures: I am a massive outdoor enthusiast! If your dog loves to explore, they will have a blast with me. I love taking dogs on outdoor adventures, hitting trails, and ensuring they get plenty of fresh air, exercise, and mental stimulation. Having recently graduated from college, I am currently working a flexible part-time job, which leaves me with an abundance of free time on my hands! This open schedule allows me to easily prioritize pet care and dedicate high-quality, focused time to your dog. Because my routine is so adaptable, I have the ultimate flexibility for morning, afternoon, or evening walks, flexible drop-in visits, and attentive house sitting. Your pup will easily fit right into my daily routine, ensuring they get plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship exactly when they need it. Safety, reliability, and comfort are my top priorities when caring for your pet. I drive a reliable Subaru Outback, which is completely pet-friendly and perfect for safely transporting dogs to nearby trails for outdoor adventures or ensuring I always arrive punctually at your home. When pet sitting, I strictly respect and follow your specific house rules, feeding schedules, and safety instructions to keep your dog's routine consistent and stress-free. I stay highly vigilant during outdoor excursions, monitor their well-being closely, and send frequent photo updates so you always have total peace of mind.
“Michelle is great! Vinny loves his weekly walks. Going to back to work knowing my dog will be checked on and all his needs taken care of is a great relief.”

About: I have always had a special affinity towards dogs! My mom adopted a German shepherd puppy the week I was born and since then I have lived with dogs my whole life! My family currently has a German short haired pointer that I helped raise and call my brother! I work a neuroscience PhD, and although it’s hard work, it allows for a very flexible schedule! I live right by campus, so going from work back to home for a pup is super easy! I have most weekends and afternoons free. I always treat a dog I haven’t met with as much care as my own! However, I always approach new dogs with caution and a keen eye for signs of trouble or causes for concern. I understand the value of quickly establishing boundaries and a hierarchy between myself and a dog. It’s okay to give a pup a firm “no” when they need it (maybe followed by a good butt scratch or two)

About: I have extensive experience caring for dogs of all ages! I understand how important routine, clear communication, and genuine affection are to a pet's peace of mind. Having grown up with dogs all my life, I have a deep, lifelong understanding of dogs and how to take care of them. I recently graduated from the University of Utah and am currently working very limited hours. This gives me lots of time to hang with your pups When caring for your pet in your home, I treat your space and your pup with the utmost respect. I carefully follow your specific instructions for feeding, exercise, and house rules to keep things consistent and stress-free. I can keep open communication about what is happening with your dogs as well as your house.

About: I have been around animals my whole life and have been in the veterinary field for 2 years. I'm looking to do some dog walking for the summer, and am a regular cat sitter! I'm available Mon-Wed at any time in the day! I can make Sundays work after 12pm. I'm currently working full time Thurs-Sat 1p-1a so I will be unavailable those days and Sunday mornings. I am happy to petsit at your home, or I can stop by to give your fuzzy creature a potty break! Unfortunately I live in a small apartment and am unable to petsit within my home.
About: I’ve been able to take care of animals since I can remember. I’ve always had pets in my house and I’ve had to take care of them because they were my responsibility. I lived in a neighborhood where i was the neighborhood dog walker and care taker when people were out of town. I have dealt with all types of animals big and small. I will ensure that your service is great. I am currently a student athlete in college and it’s hard to find a full time job. I LOVE animals and i love being outdoors so this is something that can be so perfect for me. I am typically very free on the weekends and sometimes during the weekdays and id love to spend that free time with your pet. I am willing to stay at an environment where I need to watch your pet overnight or just during the day or whenever needed. I love to be outdoors and love to stay active. I am a college athlete so id love to get outside and take your pet on a walk and make sure they’re getting the exercise they need.

About: The summer between 3rd and 4th grade I knocked on the doors of everyone in the neighborhood asking if I could walk their dogs for $2 a walk. Only 2 houses said yes initially but by the end of the summer I was walking more than half the neighborhood’s dogs. I have always had cats, from recluses to cuddle bugs, I do not discriminate. I currently work remotely for an East Coast company and my typical day looks like waking up at 5:00am, hiking with my hound mix, Tanner. Then I am in front of the computer from 6:30-12:30, and then my days are free onwards. Typically, Tanner and I will then either go on another hike, a swim or head to a dog park to sniff and play. Tanner loves all dogs, and we’d love to bring companions with us on some of our adventures. Tanner also gets lots of love and walks at home, and is perfectly okay staying home with his dad and cat brother if your pup likes one on one time. At my home, I have a fenced in yard, a sweet pup and a big ole sweetie cat. We have a guest room and plenty of space for a crate if privacy and a secure place is important for your pups comfortability. I try to replicate our guests routine as much as I can, without compromising my dogs routine too much. When I watch a pup in their own home, whatever their owner tells me to do, I am happy to do.
About: Hi! I’m Willa but I go by Aria. I have lived with multiple dogs my whole life and have had two cats in the past as well. I even volunteered for a dog rescue for a couple years of my childhood. I love all animals and hope the experience with your pet will be as rewarding for me as it is for you and your pet. I will take care of your dog or cat as if they were my own and give them lots of love and attention. I am full of energy and very responsible. I have experience in taking care of multiple pets. I hope you consider me to take care of your fluffy friend! I’m currently in between jobs so I have lots of time to take care of your fluffy friends in between taking care of my own! I am happy to help with walks, fetch, feeding, or anything else your pet needs! I’ll clean up any mess that the pet (or I) make and follow any additional instructions!
“Celine is a great communicator and picked up/dropped off my dog on time each day! She took a lot of pictures and made sure his water bowl was full. We hope to hire her for more walks and dog sitting in the future!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
