About: Hi, I'm Alexis! I have over 15 years in caring for all sorts of animals. I have grown up as an animal lover and have owned dogs, cats, horses, lizards, guinea pigs, rabbits and more since I was little. My grandparents had a farm. :) Experienced in administering medication, bottle feeding babies, puppies, kittens, seniors, special needs. I have a large fenced in backyard that provides a substantial amount of shade. Includes a doggy pool (removable), mister, tunnels, toys and more. Inside, pets are welcome to make themselves at home. Furniture, bed. :) I have a few different water fountains running at all times, various size dog beds and every type of toy you can imagine. Along with puzzle and scent games. I live in a great walking neighborhood, close to trails and other outdoor activities. I would love the opportunity to look after your beloved pets! I'm home full time - you can rest assured your pet will be in good hands. I adore animals and all the joy and potential chaos that comes with them! I currently have a 4 year old friendly and extremely spoiled pug who think she's part cat. I'm based at home and my schedule is flexible. Day, night I can make it. I'm free on weekends and Holidays as well. My day depends entirely on your pets needs. :) Dogs: I have a fenced backyard, with a dog for company and a secondary gate once entered for additional safety. Cats: Large glass windows, great sunbathing spots, have numerous cats beds/huts, towers, scratch posts, toys, and more. Cats can be kept entirely separate from the dogs I'm watching or potentially arrange for me to accept no other bookings during the reservation. Can also be kept separate from my pug. I have gates she can't get through. I have numerous cats beds/huts, towers, scratch posts, toys, and more.

Keeping the animals schedule consistent is how I like to keep them safe and also keeping a good eye on them since they are unfamiliar with me.

About: Although I don't currently have any pets of my own, I am very much an animal person and would love to watch your pets! I grew up with 3 dogs (a Golden Retriever when I was younger and two mutts when I was in high school) and 2 cats. I've also pet-sat for friends, family, and neighbors since I was a kid-- watching puppies, big dogs, small dogs, and cats. I've also attended a few dog training and behavior courses. I've attended various dog training and behavior courses I work from home (7 AM to 3 PM) Monday to Friday so I have a lot of flexibility when it comes to pet-sitting! If overnight sitting for you, I can let your dogs out multiple times a day (and hang out with your dogs/cats) and can be more hands-on (walks/play time) after 3 PM! I am also in SLC most weekends! I love exercise and am happy to offer slow-paced or fast-paced walks with your dog(s). I would frequently dog-walk between classes in college and loved the experience! During home visits, I'm happy to work from your home and chill with your dogs/cats, let your dog out throughout the workday, walk/play with them in the afternoons, and water your plants, etc.!

I’m responsible, attentive to detail, and respectful of each dog’s routine, training, and comfort level. I have a sweet 10-year-old pup named Moki, who loves people and other dogs. She can join the fun if your dog enjoys company, or she can stay with her grandparents if your pup would be more comfortable with one-on-one care. I’m also happy to come to your home if your dog feels safer in their own space. During your dog’s stay, we can do walks, hikes, backyard playtime, or cozy couch snuggles, depending on what they love most. Just tell me their routine and preferences, and I’ll make sure they feel safe, cared for, and loved while you’re away.
