“Stephanie is a life saver. My furry baby needed potty breaks while I am working. She has been wonderful, taking Aries for walks and giving him cuddles before she leaves him. I also get updated , makes me able to do my job with a peace of mind. Thanks Stephanie.”

“Cameron was an amazing dog sitter! He did a wonderful job with our timid female dog and was so patient and gentle with her, which gave us great peace of mind while we were away. He even washed our dogs’ bowls before we got home, which was such a thoughtful touch. We came home to happy, well-cared-for dogs and everything was in great shape. We highly recommend Cameron and would absolutely trust him to watch our dogs again!”

“I had used the app before, but the person I used previously was no longer available this time. I needed to find someone new and found Megan's profile with good reviews. She responds very quickly, provides feedback and photos of the visits. She was extremely caring and helpful with my cats and with me. I truly recommend her services and thank her for the care she gave my pets.”

“We hired Angie to drop in on our kitty, Luna. Angie arrived at the time we’d previously discussed and spent time playing with Luna and took care of her litter box. This was the first time we’ve left Luna behind and it was made easier by knowing Angie would be dropping in to visit.”

“Laynee was so great with our cat! It was our first time leaving him alone for more than 2 days and Laynee was very communicative and attentive. We came home to a happy and healthy kitty :)”

“Mara was amazing! She had last minute availability to feed our pups and was extremely thorough with her communication and pictures :) We really appreciate it and will definitely be using her again in the future to watch our two great danes!”

“5 Stars – Highly Recommended! Rachael is an outstanding cat sitter! She cared for my cat with genuine love, attention, and professionalism. I received regular updates and photos, which gave me total peace of mind while I was away. I wouldn’t hesitate to book Rachael again!”

About: I have professional experience and training in various animal care roles, which has really helped me learn to work with all temperaments and needs. I was a lead animal tech for a dog hotel, which is where I was able to really fall in love with all breeds. I learned how to manage large play groups and keep all the fur babies happy, while watching dog’s behavior for signs leading to distress. I also worked in a veterinary hospital where I learned even more on keeping animals healthy and happy, as well as some grooming treatments. I volunteer at the Humane Society and Best Friends because I genuinely want to make all living things around me happier and make a difference where I can. I have been obsessed with all animals since I can remember, and have had the pleasure to experience and love so many different types and breeds. I would love to give your animals love!! My schedule is very open the next few weeks as I am preparing for upcoming trips. I have fairly open availability upon request. If needed, we can discuss me cleaning your space while you’re away as well. I would love to spend a lot of time with your fur baby! I am used to working with animals who may need a bit of reassurance or a bit more time to aclimate in a nervous environment. I have experience in shelter settings and a large history in health care, which makes me confident in deescalating situations and caregiving in general.
“Tiana did a wonderful job taking care of our kitty! She kept us updated on how he was doing which was a load off of our shoulders while we were away. We will definitely reach out to her again in the future!”

About: I have over 10 years with a large dog myself & worked in the pet industry for over 4 years. I have experience in training, nutrition and overall well being of your loved one! I enjoy being outdoors so if allowed, your pups will be able to join me on my many adventures hiking! I’m usually around everyday, dogs will get daily runs/walks depending on their ability. I will always make sure they get their outside time. Pets will always feel safe around me and my home. I will make sure they’re well fed and waters always full! They won’t go unnoticed.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Summit Park. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
