About: I have had the chance working with many cats and dogs. I have taken care of a number of my neighbors pets, ranging from daily check-ins to staying overnight. I have also had the chance working with my own pets, I have three dogs (Who I currently am not living with since I am housed on campus), the oldest is a 13 year old golden retriever and the youngest is from a litter of pups I fostered. I love working with animals, I believe that they all deserve to have happy homes, and even more so safe caretaker! I am working part time. My schedule is extremely flexible because of that. I am always willing to work with the client to ensure their dog or cat gets exactly what they need and the love they deserve. I currently do overnights, check-ins, and walks. And I have had the chance to work with many reactive animals. I understand the stress that they may be going through at the moment and have many tactics to deal with that, including removing them from the situation to distraction. I understand the safety, well being, and happiness of your pet is extremely important to you. I prioritize daily exercise and enrichment, whether that's going on hikes, visiting the dog park, or engaging in playtime tailored to each dog's energy level and personality. I typically will get my dog out for at least one walk unless the weather is very bad, in which case I will make sure she still gets some playtime. My dog typically sleeps in my bed with me but I have no problem with setting and upholding boundaries as to where pets aren’t allowed.

About: What sets me apart is the level of care and attention I give every dog. I run a dog walking business called Marlee’s Mountain Miles, so working with dogs is something I take seriously and truly enjoy. I’m experienced with puppies who are still learning routines, as well as senior dogs who may need slower walks, medication reminders, or extra patience.
